Oh no I hear my credit calling to beach body lol. I have turbo jam I say its ok. Was wondering what the difference is. My coach is gonna let me know tonight.

edit to add that I just placed my order for Turbo Fire, I can't wait till I get it. More toys lol

You ladies have been posting beasts today!!

Ugh, I left the house for work at 7am today and got home at 8pm, never had time for lunch. SO....I skipped my planned workout so I could EAT!! I'm hating this work schedule lately! I want to workout in the morning but I'm value my sleep so much and I'm already leaving the house so early, I rarely get the morning workout done anymore!

That being said, today was weigh-in day and I'm down about 0.8 lbs....more I think b/c I didnt have time to eat much yesterday rather me kicking butt on my diet!

I got my new Amy Dixon workout in the mail today, so maybe I'll preview that tonight and hope to burn some calories while I watch ;)

I also went in feet first and ordered a kettlebell and the Reinhardt Kettlebell System! I figure if I dont like it, with all the raves at VF I should be able to sell it no problem.

Being the diet fanatic I am at times, I'm currently reading the Warrior Diet. It's pretty interesting, I'm sure just another version of healthy eating, but I enjoy reading those types of things.

Well I'm going to kick up my feet and relax a bit, been on my feet all day!

I almost forgot to tell you the results of my weigh in. I'm down 1.2 lbs. I was hoping for 2 but I'll take it. I ended up doing STS Total body today. Good night all, sleep well!
 
Good Morning.

I weighed in today instead of tmrw b/c I have a going away party for a coworker who's leaving tonight at a restaraunt where the eats and drinks will NOT be good. Even if I manage some portion control, I KNOW the scale will up by morning and on top of that I am going out to eat on saturday night for my DH's Birthday as well! :eek: That being said, as of this morning I am down .8 pounds. Makes me happy! :D

Going into work a little late this morning. I switched cell phone providers/plans via online so my phone was being shipped to me. Well ofcourse you MUST sign for it upon delivery and we both work so that's impossible! I called and had them hold it at UPS after their first delivery attempt y'day so that I can pick it up before work today. I was going to pick it up tmrw evening (can't tonight because of going away party) but boss offered to let me come in late so that I wouldn't have to wait to get it! I wasn't arguing!!!!!:D:D:D

Wiggie:: Congrats on your loss! Yes-definitely take it coz you did good! Hey-did you have a chance to take a peek at the BodyRock site yet? :)

Stacy:: Wow your schedule sure IS nuts. I hope it calms down for you sooner rather then later! Congrats on the loss this week! I got my Amy work outs y'day as well! Didn't have time to preview but will probably pop one in the player and give it a go this morning anyway! :D

Barb:: So what's the verdict? To Turbo Fire or not to Turbo Fire? LOL

Yay, Wiggie....we're all becoming a bunch of "losers"!! hehe

This morning I was finally able to workout before work. I did the 3 mile treadmill program which varies elevations, I jogged at the 0 and 1 degree inclines but did manage to run a bit more than I walked so I cut my time down by a few minutes, nothing major, but I did it with NO knee pain!! I cant explain it b/c I havent done anything new but I'll enjoy it and hope it's a new trend for me! Maybe my legs are getting stronger from the indirect leg work I'm doing with my kettlebell inspired workouts or maybe it's the yoga, though I've only done yoga once a week for 4 weeks, the last one being only 20 minutes so I barely even count that one!

Well, gotta get to work, gonna be another late one.

Oh, forgot to comment more on my Warrior Diet book....it goes talks about "under eating" during the day or basically eating raw veggies, fruit and occasional lean protein such as cottage cheese, yogurt or a hard boiled egg, and if you need juice making it a small amount of freshly squeezed. You do this basically until your dinner where you "over eat", but making a long story short, your dinner should start with more veggies, or a big salad and if you're going to eat carbs such as bread, rice potatoes eat them last. They give many reasons why but I'm guessing it's b/c you may be too full at that point so you wont overindulge in them like you would at say a restaurant where you stuff your face with bread before your meal comes. I'm not sure I buy all the "scientific" reasons behind it all, but it definitely is some sound principles that can be easily followed and still fits into WW points. Just thought I'd share.

I'll check back later. Anxious to read everyone's workouts and/or meal selections. I'll share mine later....the good, the bad and the ugly. Hopefully mostly good!

Stacy I like that bunch of losers comment, I hope we all continue to be just that.

I would love to know what kind of meals you guys eat, I need some new menu options. I haven't decided on the workout for today, I know it will be cardio.

Wiggie,

A typical day of eating during the week for me looks something like this....

Post work out around 6:45 am: banana

Breakfast around 9:30 am: bagel thin w/1 tb natural pb + apple

Lunch at noonish: deli turkey or tuna on ww bread w/a low point crunchy snack and a piece of fruit or left overs from a healthy dinner the night before.

Afternoon snack between 2-3PM: 1% cottage cheese w/berries in it + another separate serving/piece of fruit.

Dinner/Dessert around 6:30: Totally varies but basically I allow myself 13 points which covers my nightly half glass of wine, dinner and dessert (mostly ww or skinny cow brand) and if possible, a snack later in the evening.

Stacy:: Glad you got a TM work out in w/o knee pain. I was watching the modifier in Breathless Body this morning and I think you will like what she does. Let me know what you think once you do it!

Good afternoon everyone. Eats was good yesterday. Had a protein shake with banana and blueberries for meal 1. Meal 2 3 eggs with fresh fruit. Meal 3 was a slice of pizza with a big toss salad. Snacks was kashi bar and weight watchers ice cream. I had my wine at night.

Stacy sounds like you had a long night. Glad you got your workout in. Yay for the loss.

Wendy looks like you had a great workout. I might go look at the link that you posted to see the workout. Congratulations on the weight loss!

Wiggie yay for the loss. Looks like everyone is doing great!

Allee I hope you get a dvd player that works for all of your dvds
 
Came back to report my eats for today:

M1 GoLean kashi cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk
snack, bowl of fresh fruit
M2 Cottage cheese with strawberries and cheese cracker
snack 2 babybel light cheese
M3 Big greek salad with half cup fetta cheese and 4 tbls of light dressing
snack wine and WW ice cream.

I still deciding if I should exercise or not if not I will do it first thing in the morning to have out of the way.

Well I just got an email conf. that my turbo fire has been shipped yay can't wait!!
 
It's Christmas in July for me! I got my Reinhardt KB System dvd set today AND my very 1st Kettlebell in the mail today. My husband was home when it came and he said the mailman had to back the mail truck into the driveway b/c he couldnt care it all the way, lol! I only ordered the 12kg one! It might be too heavy for some of the moves but from what I read you outgrow the 8kg one so fast that I may just modify with a dumbell until I get strong enough. Those KB's can be pricey!!

Wendy I previewed Breathless Body and agree, there is a good mix of moves that the low impact modifier does, as well as moves of Amy's I think I can handle. We're going out of town in 2 weeks just for the weekend so I plan on taking this workout for one day and Cathe's Travel Fit to do the following day. Should be a good travel mix!

My meals today...not so great, but here it goes!

B--banana and small glass of diluted OJ (full OJ bothers my stomach)
L--celery, raw cauliflower and 2 handfuls of Cheezits (I was ravenous and forgot my protein shake and that unfortunately was the healthiest thing around I could find!)
D--hubby cooks on Thursday so he just grilled hot dogs. I had two :( But, no side dishes.

With work being so crazy and long hours I honestly havent had much time to shop or even plan anything great, and yesterday I packed my lunch and worked right thru my lunch hour! My hubby picked up a few fresh fruits and veggies for my lunches today so will take those tomorrow. We have a meeting at work tomorrow and lunch is usually provided but it's usually pizza or Mexican etc, so I definitely need to bring my own lunch!

Ok, relaxation time!
 
Good morning!! I love this thread!! Believe it or not none of my friends have any interest in working out or eating right, so it is nice to have someone to discuss fitness with. I ended up doing Intensity yesterday, only did half my energy wasn't as good as usual.

Wendy I checked out Body Rock & wow!! That's some tough stuff!! I am going to try the Booty Transformation w/o. Since it's only 2 excercises it will be easy to do without the actual video. My computer is not in my w/o room, so if I try others I guess I'll have to write the excercises down.

My eats for yesterday
Brk: 2 slices toast the delightful brand, 1 egg, coffee
snack: watermelon, peach
lun: 1/2 grilled house salad from Zaxbys minus the fried onions, I use that spray salad dressing by wishbone
snack: 2 mini hershey candies
din: baked fish, veggies
snack: watermelon, I love watermelon!!
