Hi Wiggie, always welcome new faces here!! My weigh-in day is on Wednesdays too. So is Steph's (she's currently in Italy). I hoping to just break even tomorrow as I havent been too diligent with my diet lately.
Wendy...you're the workout master. I'm too lazy (as if it takes time) to piece workouts together like that. Knowing me, I'd take one disc out and then call it quits!
I just finished one of my new workouts. A kettlebell workout (though she uses a dumbell the entire time which is a bit odd based on the title, but I got it for this reason b/c I dont have a kettlebell...yet!) by Michele Olson, it's 5 10 minunte segments, all with a different focus that can be add-on's but I did the whole 50 minute working using an 8 lb dumbell. It was a decent workout, but I either need to up the weight next time, or this might become my go-to workout when I'm getting back into things say after an illness or maybe on one of those "I dont feel like working out but I should do something days". The more I do kettlebell/kettlebell inspired workouts the more I enjoy them. She did do a few interesting ab exercises I hadnt done before.....side lying plank with the arm closest to the ground bent and holding up your body and the other arm extended straight up to the ceiling and holding (in my case the 8 lb) a dumbell and just lifting your body up and down. She then bent her legs to 90 degrees at the knee and doing the same thing but this time raising the dumbell up and down like a military press. Those were both pretty tough for me!
