Merry Christmas Eve ladies!

Well, this is starting to turn into a complete rest week for me :eek:. Hehehehe
My last really good workout was on Thursday when I did Crossfire. Then Friday and Saturday I wound up not working out as I was feeling a head cold/sinus thing taking me over. I felt better yesterday and did Travel Fit but oh lordy was it a half-a$$ed attempt. :confused: Now with the way today and most likely tomorrow are shaping up I won't be working out until Wednesday! Yikes!

Oh well. I can start fresh when XTrain arrives!!! :eek:

Yay on the two new fish Natty! :D Our sea monkeys are so cool to watch now. I think we lost 2 though. :( I could swear there were 5 in there and now there are only 3 in the tank.

Quick post to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Today's workout was Athletic Step. Goal was do to something easy after doing AB, 4DS Bootcamp, and 4 DS Kickbox with my mom the past 3 days :) She has major DOMS! I love it!
 
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Presents, food, fun, tired. That was my day :).

I did a workout this morning: STS M2 Legs D4. Mark's buddy gave back his 25lbs dumbbell's and I used them for this workout. WOW. My legs (and forearms!) were toast.

Happy day after Christmas everybody! :D

Today I did To the Max. It totally kicked my butt!:eek: I'm sure my lack of working out the past 5 days had something to do with that! Tomorrow I'm hoping to get in a HoCo workout, maybe January Hardcore. We shall see. I feel like I'm floundering and totally need a new direction and and the structure of a rotation. XTrain will be coming at just the right time! :eek: I'm excited to get back to weight training. I think I'm going to do the 90 day rotation and then go back to circuits, kettlebells and HoCo again for a period of time. It'll be good to shake things up!

I have been an eating machine these past few days! Aack!! It's funny because I'm the opposite of most people. When I exercise consistently, my eating is way more controlled than when I stop working out. It's pretty much all or nothing with me, I guess. :eek: lol

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I was so exhausted last night after all the running around I wasn't sure I'd make it with a workout today!

Hello ladies :)

I hope Christmas was wonderful for all of you :).

Yesterday we went to Hamilton to visit the in-laws. The drive there/back was smooth, no traffic. We came back and I had to do a workout. I did 40min of Power Max and called it a day.

THERE IS TONS OF SNOW OUT TODAY! We promised Bella we would take her sledding, so hills here we come! I'm kinda excited for that TBH :eek:. This should blast some nice calories too and get the whole family up and moving.

Today's w/o was supposed to be something from Xtrain, but the downloads won't be avail til' later on in the evening :mad:. My plan then :mad: is to do 4DS Bi's & Tri's today, then Xtrain Chest, Back & Shoulder's later on the the week. All Out will be my first Xtrain cardio of choice :eek:.

Great job doing TTM! Even if it "kicked your butt" at least you did it, and that's the most important thing.
I have discovered that I am very partial to weight training. I need devoted days to it. I love my little hard earned muscles :).

Literally cannot stop eating today. Ugh! Like you Colleen I'm all or nothing. My workout today was lame. Step Moves. Fun but hardly touched the calories I ate today. Oh well! It happens. So I might be crazy but I'm thinking of holding off on a XTrain rotation. My friend got STS for Christmas and wants me to start a rotation with her. Am I crazy?! I think it would be fun to be able to discuss and keep each other motivated with STS so I'm planning on starting that on Monday and then doing a Xtrain rotation after that. I never did get to do Meso 3. I found out I was pregnant right before I was going to start that cycle and my dr recommended no heavy lifting. I have been lots of cardio lately but no all weight workouts so I'm kind of excited to get back into that.
 
WTG on TTM Colleen. Always a calorie crusher! Enjoy HoCo. I was thinking of getting that for Christmas but I'm now thinking of getting some more Cathe DVD's. There are so many I want. For part of my present from Tony I'm getting 5 workouts. Thinking Drill Max, High Step Training, Low Max, Intensity and one more....hmmmm so many choices. Anyone have suggestions?
 
What a great present Sarah. Anything Cathe is great but I as well have always wanted a weighted vest. Enjoy :)

Drill Max I just bought but I've only done the cardio premix once :eek:. I find it's a bit too long, 70min. Also, I love bootcamp stuff, but I'm finding it hard to fit circuits into my routine. Get it if that's your thing!

What else did you want, cardio or strength?
 
Hello ladies!

Yesterday I managed to do HC January Hardcore...tough stuff but it felt good to do it! :D Today I'm going to do Butts and Guts, although I'm not crazy about the ab stuff in that one so I just do the "Butts" part. :p

Marie- do you have the Hiit dvd from STS Shock Cardio? That one is one of my favorites! :D I also really like Circuit Blast and Travel Fit from that series. LOVE Drill Max! :eek: That is one of my favorites!! Do you have Lower Body Blast and Butts and Guts? Those are so awesome, too. Even though I don't usually do the ab stuff on B&G it's well worth it for the lower body work!

Natty- did you get your downloads last night? Are you going to be doing an XTrain workout today? :eek:

Thanks for the suggestions chicas :) I hear so much about Travel Fit. I should get that one. Not to mention it would be a good one for when I travel. I usually end up bringing Slide n Glide and CCC but it would be nice to have a 3rd. Circuit blast too :) I LOVE circuits! So I bet I would like DM too. My favorite workouts combine cardio and weights. Love metabolic workouts :) Love Imax 2 Jen :) That one is my favorite of the Imax's.
 
I'm so &%$#ing peeved right now :mad:. Stupid me, I deleted my Cathe email invoice which had the download code :mad:. I never, and I mean NEVER delete my receipts. I have no idea what got over me that I felt the need to clean up my email like that :confused:. Oh well, vent over, and yes I'm acting like a 5yr old child who did not get what she wanted. I'm waiting for a code to be sent to me by support. I hope they don't take days. Please pray to the "support gods" for me!

My w/o yesterday was M2 W4 Back & Bi's + I fiddled around and did some cardio with my new high step for 20min :D. I'm in a nice DOMS state today, so at least there's that to make me happy :D.

No workout today. It's TTOTM for me and my body felt exhausted.

WTG on getting back into your w/o's after Xmas :eek:. Have you decided how you are going to incorporate HC w/Xtrain? Toni from my other check-in was wondering that too. Everyone from my other check-in, except for Heartymax, has ordered HC! But she plans on ordering it in the new year.

I love all complex step (you know that I'm sure) so I will say YES get all of them :D.
Travel Fit is great! I forgot to post that I did it on Monday. I used a green band like Cathe and let me tell you, it was one hell of a workout!
How great that you are doing STS with a buddy!

I GOT MY DOWNLOADS! I am downloading as I'm typing right now! Tomorrow's w/o will be All Out!! I read from VF (yes, I snooped) that there is NO REPETITION! YAY! I'm stoked people, really stoked! I hope my energy is flying off the page to you guys :eek:.

Today's w/o will be STS M2 Chest, Shoulder's & Tri's. Monday I start Xtrain strength w/o's!

LOL lot's of !!!! I just noticed :eek:.
