Weight Watchers - Second week of February

Melanie - it's getting closer to 5 o'clock...:) Did you enjoy your chocolate square? I am feeling really excited about the plan again. And that is thanks to whoever suggested I reduce my carb intake. I would have never thought of that. So thank you ladies!!!

My weigh-in is Sunday morning. And even if this change doesn't get the scale moving, I feel great. This sounds crazy, but I might not even hop on the scale...:eek: Maybe me and my positive attitude will just float into next week without giving the scale the satisfaction of bursting my bubble. HA! Take that you evil piece of machinery.

Hi again Melissa! Your attitude is really inspirational. Thanks!!! BTW, I did thoroughly enjoy my little chocolate square - it hit the spot. Dark chocolate & mint.

So, its the final countdown, and I'm feeling like I'll have enough energy to do my workout. It must have something to do with the positivity (is that a word?) I'm feeling today from everyone!
 
Awww, thanks Melanie! That is nice to hear especially since I feel like I've been such a downer lately...:eek: Glad you enjoyed your chocolate! Did you get your workout in?

I changed up my dinner tonight. When I got home from work I realized that I desperately needed to go to the grocery store even though I really didn't want to. DH and DD came with me and we went to Home Depot also. Lessened the dread-factor, that's for sure. We ended up going to Wendy's after our errands. I had a large chili (7 points) and had two packages of saltines (2 points). Even though this breaks my "no carbs after lunch" rule, I cannot resist Wendy's saltines. I don't know why I love them so...:)

ETA: Melanie, I think positivity is a word. And if it isn't, it should be.
 
Hey, Ladies. Too busy to really give a good post. Crazy day yesterday. Off the charts crazy. I did read through, and yall sound wonderful.

I got Step Moves in this morning. I was so strong. I never had to stop the workout. I was smiling alot through it. I was even doing almost all her little jumpy step whenever she did them which was alot. I earned 9 APs.

I have to apologize at my lurkishness. These are crazy days and I can't get on here to actually post as often as I'd like....but I do read and enjoy and get great inspiration from all of you!

Shereta - I love Step Moves. It took me a little while to get it down pat. It's so much fun!

Menu for today:

B: 1 egg & 3 whites scrambled with 2T shredded cheddar & 2T salsa, 1/2 cup 1%, 2 slices whole wheat toast, dry. I actually enjoyed the dry toast.
S: pear
L: whole wheat pita, 5 oz chicken breast, 1T HVR light dressing, brocolli slaw. I was really pleased to see that the pita's I've been eating only have 6 grams of carbs.
D: 1 cup 1%, grilled chicken salad: 5 oz chicken breast, 3T greek dressing

I might have to do Step Moves tonight...:D

I just previewed my new workout, Patrick Goudeau's Lean Hot Body....it looks fabulous!! I'm sure I'll be making a few modifications if I can even get through it the first time! This looks like alot of fun, but tough, and the kind of workout where you'll feel very accomplished once it's over! Cant wait to try it...I think ;)
 
Oh, Ladies, feeling sick to my stomach. Keep me in your thoughts. Eating was okay today. Not as many veggies. Just not feeling well. Will check in tomorrow. I hate to miss my Saturday, long workout. I love it. I'm not used to feeling sick. I hate this. All I can think about is the possibility of not working out tomorrow. Am I an addict? lol

Stacy - I have that workout but I haven't done it yet. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. I love doing circuits on Saturdays when I have more time.

I got Intensity and High Reps in the mail today...:cool: I'm in the midst of coloring my hair so I'm going to go preview a little of both while I wait.
 
Workout done....did 40 min on the treadmill of 3 minutes jogging/2 minutes walking. My diet today has been carb-heavy. I just havent been in the mood for "healthy" food. I think TTOTM is the reason!

B--plain belgian waffle, 1/2 cup skim milk (6)
L--one Smart Ones cheeseburger (5)
D--think I'm going to force myself to have a salad. I'm on my own for dinner tonight.

Melissa...did you do the new Patrick workout??

Stacy - I ended up doing Intensity instead of Patrick's. I previewed it this morning and just had to do it. How about you? Did you fit it in today?

Here is my menu for today:

B#1: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/2 c 1% milk
B#2: 1 egg, 4 whites scrambled, 2T shredded cheddar, 1/4 c salsa
S: apple
L: whole wheat pita, 2 slices deli turkey, 1T roasted red pepper hommus, brocolli slaw
D: 5 oz chicken, 1 cup 1%, steamed carrots & brocolli

Tomorrow morning is weigh-in day. Still not sure if I'm going to give the scale the satisfaction...:p I'll let you know tomorrow!

I didnt do Patrick's workout today either. I decided to do jog/walk intervals on the treadmill mainly b/c I can see the tv from the treadmill and I couldnt tear myself away from the Sell This House tv marathon this morning, lol!

My diet wasnt healthy, so no point posting it, but ate only 24 points today.
 
Hey, Ladies. I was out of commission yesterday, ate horribly, my weight is up (I can tell by looking at myself) but I cant post because my scale needs a new battery. hopefully I'll get one today. I did get 24 APs yesterday, but I'm constipated and feeling bloated. i didn't eat any veggies or fruit friday or yesterday. I'm afraid of the scale, but once I get a battery, I'll brave the fear and get on board. Today's my normal rest day and we're off and running to church. BBL.
 
Yay!! I weighed myself this morning b/c I was feeling light and I'm down 1 lb from my pre-vacation weight!! Granted, I didnt eat much for dinner last night so that has a bit to do with it, but it was great seeing a new all-time low number in one the scale (well all-time low as far as weights I've seen in a looong time!).

I was going to do STS Total Body today but my legs need a rest and my knee's a bit tweaky today. So, I'm going to do CTX Upper Body, it's been awhile since I focused soley on upper body, then I'll do abs afterwards.

Shereta....glad you're up and about today!

Stacy - WOOHOO!!! Isn't it a great feeling to see a number on the scale that you haven't seen in a while?!

I did give in to the scale and weighed myself today. Down 1 lb!!! Like you Stacy, it's a number that I haven't seen in a long time so I'm a happy girl.

I'll probably be MIA for the rest of the day. It's DD's 11th birthday and we have a full day planned. Enjoy the day!!!
 
CONGRATS, Melissa!!! I'm so excited for you!! Maybe it was the low carb shake-up?? Either way, great job!
