OK, we have lots of disagreements on this message board--not that it's a bad thing, as long as it's done respectfully. :) But I thought we could have a little fun & make a thread about things (I'm pretty sure) everyone could agree on.

So I'll start the list:

1) Cathe is the 8th wonder of the world
2) AIG sucks
3) Puppies & kittens are cute
4) Chocolate is good

I have some bad things we'd probably agree on too, but I want to keep this light so I'm not even gonna mention them. :cool:
 
Okay Laura I'm game

1) Exercise and Cathe land has vastly improved my life. I've learned a lot and made some real friends (you included)

2) The media does a great disservice to women by promoting unrealistic body images. And they are awfully hard on stars who gain 3 OUNCES!!!

3) Healthy crockpot meals are great when you have little kids!!!

4) Puppy breath is the best

5) Chocolate is God's gift to women!!! I love it

I could go on and on but i am curious about other people's responses!!!

Ooooohhh, I like this too!

1. We all enjoy/know the benefits of exercising hard and like the results from it (not just physical, but mental as well).

2. Almost all baby animals are cute

3. Chocolate is lovely, but salty snacks are good, too. Variety is the spice of life!

1. Health and fitness is a lifestyle choice, not a "get thin quick" two-week diet plan.
2. Being a strong woman is fun. :)
3. There are few things on earth better than a really good book.
 
1. a babys head is the sweetest smell ever

3. healthy food sure makes you feel better than eating junk

2. Clean eats equal visible muscle definition
3. Imax 3 is HARD

2) Thank God for Cathe to help with the damage control caused by #1

3) I'm very lucky to have found the ulitmate mood booster in exercise

4) I've met some great friends through the Cathe Nation!

Mint isn't bad either thrown into the mix. Back in the day when I ate stuff like this I'd dump a box of Junior Mints into my movie popcorn and let it get all melty. YUM.

I had movie popcorn with 2 boxes of Milk Duds mixed in this weekend (DH and I saw Race to Witch Mountain ):eek: I'll have to try the Junior Mints version next time. :D
 
1. Cathe is THE best...even though we have all cursed at her at some point in some workout.
2. Muscles are sexy.
3. Sore is a good feeling in our weird world :)

OK I am about to showcase my COLOSSAL nerditude here but there's a great episode of Star Trek: the Next Generation where one of the characters thinks she is slowly going insane, and then there is this perfect moment when she realizes that it's not her that is insane, and she says "If there's nothing wrong with ME, there's must be something wrong with the UNIVERSE."

I love that philosophy and apply it as often as I can. :D

LOL, Sparrow! And I'll have to try the Junior Mint thing. I LOVE salty sweet together. My favorite treat at the movies? Popcorn and Twizzlers together. MMMMmmmmmmm. I've also done popcorn and M&Ms, but never thought of throwing mint in there. Maybe I'll go to the movies tonight....

2. Sometimes, nothing hits the spot like a good adult beverage. (For those who indulge)
3. Gayle's dog and SirenSongWoman's cat crack me up.
4. We are generous with the prayers and good vibes whenever anyone's in need.
 
1) Nothing in the world tastes better when you're home sick with a cold than Campbell's Tomato soup with crumbled Ritz crackers on top;

2) Nothing gets you more motivated to work out than being sick and knowing you can't.

Guess what I've been up to the past 4 days?? I couldn't even eat the Thin Mints I bought, they make me cough! Waaah, I want to fee better!!

1) There's nothing better than laughing so hard with friends that your abs hurt the next day.

2) Nerditude is grand, and most of us have a nerditude gene somewhere I suspect.

3) I love the pina coloda song in Imax 2, it means it's almost over, and she knows I'm tuckered, but I gotta jump higher.

4) #3 is my curse at Cathe moment...let her jump higher, I'm friggin' done for the day.

5) I love our weird world.
