Melanie- 18 years, wow lady! I hope I still get steamy 8 years from now. Hope the girls sleep and you either get a little romance or some good ellicptical.
A little romance or some good elliptical! This made me laugh out loud!!
Drew is 5 months today. That went by in the blink of an eye. He's eating solids now -- loves carrots, bananas, sweet potatoes, apples, and even green beans! I just bought some freezer things and pulled out my baby food puree cookbook (which I used like twice with Ella LOL). Will start making and freezing tomorrow
Okay -- I did it. What, you may ask? I did STS Meso 1, Week 1, Disc 1 yesterday, and STS Hiit 40/20 today
Tomorrow it's Disc 2. I figured I at least need to try getting it done.
Christine, I haven't tried 30/30 yet, but I thought 40/20 was tough. I couldn't do all the exercises. And truthfully, I am afraid of fast feet so I skipped those and the butt jumps, as I figured those would be beyond my level of coordination and strength LOL STS Disc 1 wasn't too bad, but Cathe is waaaaaay to push-up happy. One of my six month goals is to do a push up on my toes; I am a knees girl at this point. Good to have goals, right?!
Susan, I am in awe that you gave up sugar *snap* just like that! I hope Kara naps well tomorrow. It gets so frustrating when the babies won't stick to a schedule, right? Don't they understand that we make plans for their nap times?!?! But that's awesome that Kara woke up right when you finished your workout. I love it when the timing works out perfectly
Jen, Drew has 'graduated' from his car seat -- to his vibrating seat
From there, we'll transition to the crib. Glad you have the pregnancy mystery to keep work a bit exciting! As for Aunt Flo, I got mine at exactly 10 weeks post-partum. It was nice to have a year-long break, but I'm pretty happy to no longer be pregnant -- haha.
Christine, glad you made DH go to the doc's office. I hope your boys are on the mend soon, and that you are able to get some sleep so that you can beat the icks before they really grip you. I'm jealous you can even work out while John is awake. Drew gets too fussy too fast (though he's getting better).
Melanie, so did you like Core Fusion? Since it's toning/stretching with light weights, I'm not sure if I can do them on days between heavier weight workouts. What do you think? Sounds like you had a great dinner! I am very sorry to hear that your dad's prognosis is not better. I don't envy the 30-hour RT drive, but it will mean so much to all of you, now and later.
Last night, I made a yummy parmesan chicken and rice dish with roasted veggies. Tonight it was a taco soup with lots of beans and veggies. Tomorrow I have to make a carrot soup (to use up some carrots).
I did well with my eating today, until tonight. I derailed myself quite nicely -- chocolate, of course.
