Afternoon ladies!
So today I did one of the Horizontal Conditioning club dvds. This one used the stability ball. Let's just say I get a wee bit frustrated with some of the ones that use the stability ball! I enjoy the volume 4 workout, even though it's challenging, but I seem to have a much harder time with these other ones. I like about half the exercises and the other half are either hard on my knees (example: the infamous one legged hamstring roll ins...not happening!
) or the ball is wobbling all over the place. I don't know...I felt unsatisfied with my workout today. Like I struggled but I didn't feel totally "worked out". Darn it.
With that frustration vented...I think I'm going to hold off on trying August Hardcore I told you about Carolyn. That's the one that is supposedly similar to bootcamp, but the 1 minute horizontal moves are all on the ball. I think I need to wait awhile and forget my frustration until I try it
. I love the HC's that use the gliders and step so I'm going to do one of those on Thursday instead, I think. Tomorrow is To the Max! Yay!
Man, my stomach was feeling great today until I ate lunch.
I definitely don't tolerate dairy as well after enduring a stomach virus. I totally forgot about that
. Ugh. My day not going so well!
Good luck with the MRI results Carolyn! Hopefully they have something definitive to tell you. I think if I remember right, when I had my MRI the "retail" cost of it was something like $3500-4000. (!) Then with insurance, I also ended up paying $1500.
I have that sucky United Health Care insurance that Missy was talking about. Worst Insurance Ever!
Every year they bug us about getting our physicals and sending all this information in. I get my physical but I feel like they are totally being "Big Brother" asking for all my data...even though it's all excellent and I'm wicked healthy and they offer a discount for my numbers...it just feels totally creepy and like an invasion of privacy so I refuse to send it in. I hate UHC!!! Luckily we have the option to do an HSA through work, so when we have big medical bills we usually have enough in there to cover stuff. Usually.
Okay...I feel like I'm being kind of negative.
I'm swear I'm not really in that bad of a mood today! lol
Better run! TTYL
