Super quick post. We're so busy today! Then after work I have some serious birthday party shopping to do as well as pick up the princess cake.
No workout for me today. I stayed up late reading a book and I was so groggy this morning! Does anyone watch The Game of Thrones? I got into the series on dvd since I don't have HBO but just watched the first season. I got so into it I decided to buy all the books. It's tough to make yourself go to bed when you start reading!
Meredith- I've slowly transitioned into barefoot workouts because I was always so frustrated with sneakers. I just HATE shoes! My feet get so hot, my balance is all off and I actually get more knee and ankle pain when I wear them. I don't recommend going barefoot with high impact step aerobics, though. Learned that one the hard way. It takes a long time to transition to barefoot workouts because you have to strengthen not just the muscles but also the tendons and ligaments to withstand any sort of plyometric movements. Plus I work out on really cushy puzzle mats to help with shock absorption. My feet have gotten stronger and barefoot workouts have helped me strengthen and regain my arches! I always had flat feet which threw off my posture and gave me low back pain but now I have some arch to my feet. Like I said, it's just what works for me so I hate to recommend it to everyone. It works great for some people but not all, I think...
Okay, gotta run! I'll BBL to write more!!
