STS first time!

Marie---Go home and exercise! You will feel awesome afterwards!!! Cross Fit is so much fun, it will deffinately help with the post baby tummy!!! I would not do it while preg though. It is tough stuff!!!

Carolyn---Yes, I loved the additional 9 minutes of core! I thought this workouts was amazing. I think it is one of the best dvd's of Cathe's/ but I love them all. But this one, I just felt like the calories were burning!!!! My husband came in my exercise room when I was doing the tabata plyo----and he said he could smell the fat burning!!! HAHAHA  I asked him if wanted to join me, and he said he did not want to have a heart attack!!! ;) I too am doing To The Max tomorrow!!! I just get so excited when I get new Cathe!!! I am just so happy!!! But, I felt like you really got a workout!!! (*tough workout*)

Okay, off to make dinner. Making homemade pizza tonight. Already made dough....now I have to cut up veggies and shred some cheese. Yum, Yum!!!

BBL!!! :)

Marie---Cucumbers and ranch and cheese are pretty healthy! At least you are not craving sweets and unhealthy snacks!!!!

Just finished with out homemade pizza! It was delish!!!

Carolyn---I am hoping she puts out a July rotation with them in it!!! Next time you do Cross Fire, deffinately just hit play or hit crossfire + Abs. It was so worth the wait. It was very high energy and I felt like every exercise was worth it! Looking forward to tomorrow to try To the Max!!!! :)

Marie----That is what we are here for, to help motivate each other when we need it!!! Glad I could help!!! Let us know what you think of Low impact Cross Fire when you try it!!!

Colleen---Hope you are not sweating to death this weekend. The heat is absolutely horrible. Hopefully, you are staying by the pool!!!! Have fun and we miss ya!!!

Good Morning and Happy July!!!!

Woke up early this morning and did 60 minutes on the elliptical, showered and then made my eggs, toast, with fresh berries for breakfast!!! Yum, Yum!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day!!!

Good Morning!

I did To The Max this morning - loved it!! I found the Tabata very doable, and the hardest segment for me was the Hiit 30/20. My heart rate got way up there, and when she started the compound leg segment I had to hit the pause button, I had not caught my breath yet. Also got more water at that point. I was surprised at the burn in my upper body from this one also, especially the shoulders. I was doing 8 lb for the plie lunges side to side but had to drop to 5 for the arnold press. And some new moves for abs. It was challenging but I loved it. I also took a peek at the list of premixes, it looks like there are some new workout segments on those.

Another hot one today. We are having my daughter's soccer team over today for an end of season party. When we offered to host it, we thought it was just going to be the girls, but it turns out most of the parents are coming too - 35 people! Busy weekend!

Hope everyone has a great day! Stay cool!

Wanted to add, I used my blue firewalker band in To The Max...it had not even been taken out of its plastic wrap yet. I figured I could always go down, but probably would not go up in tension. Hard to believe, but it was fun!

Just finished to the max!!!! Oh My...It was an awesome workout! Add this one to my favorites!!!! I was drenched again, sweat was literaly dripping of me onto the floor. When I saw the clips for these new dvd's I got very excited but now that I have done them, I had a reason to be excited. They are everything I hoped for a more.

Carolyn---Have you done to the max yet?

Slow day here on the forums?

Hello, anyone out there? :eek::p:):D

Marie---Get Disc 8 done!!! I bet you are looking smokin hot with all of your workouts!!! Good job on the plyo jumps with the blue firewalker. No I did not get a shipping notice, but I choose USPS mail. The only people that got a notice were who choose ups. I am sure you will get yours tomorrow.

Just got back from dinner with the in-laws. It is my husbands b-day today!!! Of course she (mom) is always trying to stuff something sweet down our throat. But, I think she is finally learning. She only got a tiny cake for Tim, and I did not have any because I already ate some b-day cupcakes at our house. Did not want to ruin my awesome burn from To the Max!!!

Also, my monthly monster is trying to come for a visit!!! :( Hoping this month will not be like last month!!!

Okay, Off to prepare lunches for tomorrow!!! BBL!!! :p

Carolyn---I too would feel nervous in a bikini around people. Even though we workout, well....I think its because we workout so hard and want to look our absolute best, yet we still see some flaws. But, everyone has trouble areas. As for the chest....I think smaller chested fit people are just as attractive as larger breasted. All they are is fat anyways, unless they are store bought!!!! hahaha Have fun with to the max tomorrow.

Mary---I would be freaking out if that many people were at my house!!! You are brave brave brave women!!!!

Thanks for all the b-day wished for my hubby!!!! So thoughtful!!! :)

Carolyn--Have fun at the beach! Wear lots of sunscreen!!!! Also, have a blast with to the max!!! Let us know what you think!!!

Today, I got up and di dmy normal routine! Cardio, breakfast and off to work! I have Afterburn on schedule for tonight!!! :D I am hitting the lower body hard this month, looking to work on my trouble area....the thighs/hips! If I could lose a few inches it would be awesome!!!

Okay, at work and very busy!!! Check back later!!!

Marie---So excited for you, once the lease is signed when do you move in? Can't wait to see pictures of your workout area once all put together!!! :)

Morning girls! Today I'm thinking Afterburn. Something tough is needed :) We move in August 1st. A few things need to be done still like redoing the sink in the bathroom and cleaning the place. The landlord said we could do it and then he would take money off the rent which would be great! He is real chill so I'm thinking we will be able to move in sooner than planned. The place is empty now so it wouldn't hurt anything. Be back later :)

Carolyn---I am so glad you loved it! I felt the same way! Did you see the July rotation Cathe created? What do you think? I am mixing Crossfire and To The Max with LIS. I think it will really kill my lower body!!!! I too am in love with to the max. I also, loved Crossfire. You need to try it and let us know what the difference is between the low impact.

Have fun at the beach. Now, that you burned all that fat/calories...you will feel smokin hot in a bathing suit! Just, think you deserve to feel good about yourself, think of what you just accomplished!!!!

I felt very accomplished and amazing when finishing to the max. I had an exercise high for hours. Can't wait to do it again!!!

Jean---we were posting at the same time. You are right she did not use the bosu much, but it was a killer workout. I had DOMS the next day!!! And, you know how much I love DOMS. I do like the bosu, but dont think I will buy dvd's for it. I think I will just use it to work my abs. Just sitting on the bosu works them. :) You were so lucky to be at your sisters with power. It was so hot here this weekend, I stayed indoors all weekend.

Carolyn and I got the high from To the Max like you do with Drill Max. I always got a high from Drill max, but To the Max takes it up a notch!!!

Hi gals! I just did To the Max, straight out of the box, with no previewing. I loved it! I loved that there was cardio and weights and core, all in one. It was so much fun! No dread factor for next time!:p A few pauses for me, but that's because I don't like my heart rate through the roof! Cathe was sooo thorough! From warm-up to cool down, there was no skimping! I stuck to 3 & 5 lb weights, and pulled my blue band out of its plastic wrapper too! The 53 mins is perfect! The set: not my fave. The outfits: just ok; I'm not a huge fan of FFW. The Rykas: yikes, does that look like a velcro strap across the top??:p

Marie, so excited that you'll be getting your own place! To think! The privacy, the space, the freedom to decorate and furnish the way you want in a brand-new place! And plenty to time to work on a nursery!

Carolyn, be proud of your fit and toned body! People would kill to look like you. Chest, we can't change what we're born with (well...), but fitness level, we can. I hear you though, from one small-chested person to another!:D

Mary, you are brave indeed to host such a large party. I don't look forward to entertaining because I'm not creative with food, and the thought of a crowd scares me! I wish I could be one of those to whom it comes naturally!

Colleen, you must be out enjoying FL! Hope it's not over 100!:D

Missy and Jean, hi there. We're posting at the same time! Jean, that's great news about your mom, but not so good with the storms in your area.:( Missy, I actually dread DM now.

I'm on a mission to cut back on my sweets (notice I didn't say 'eliminate')! Especially with all that I stocked up with (around my waist) in CA.

Someone please tell me how to get rid of my ticker! I keep going into CatheFun, and delete the code, but nothing happens.

Hello Everyone!

I did Crossfire when I got home tonight - loved that one too! After I started I realized it may not be a good idea to do these workouts back to back, but I couldn't resist. My legs were on fire! I really like how Cathe broke these workouts up into segments, it helped me to know what was coming and I don't think I'll have any dread factor with these.

Luckily not as many people showed up for our cookout yesterday. It was so hot! The girls were all in the pool, and most of the adults did not bring a bathing suit so we all just sat outside and baked. I'm really not big on these types of things, I'm not good at telling interesting stories and all that, esp. with people I don't know, but my husband was the asst. coach so he wanted to do it. Glad its over!

Marie, how exciting about the new place. It sounds great! Do you have a lot of stuff to move?

Jean, have you upped your weights with this round of STS? How are the leg workouts?

Our bathroom renovation is coming along. The guy installed the medicine cabinet with the mirror today (it is on the wall, not in the wall), but when I looked at it, it was up too high. If I was 6ft tall it would be ok, but for the 4 ladies in this house it is not. Hope its not a big deal to move.

Carolyn, I bought a bikini this year and wore it to the beach already, but would not wear it when friends come over. I guess I feel more comfortable with strangers looking at me! Not that anyone is! Anyway, body image is a tough thing but you sound healthy and you must be in great shape from all these workouts!

And for the last post from me haha...

I did AB today. I'm addicted to doing that one once a week :)

More on the house. Tony has the lease so we will be signing that and sending it back this week. We also are getting money off Aug rent for cleaning the place and redoing the sink in the bathroom. Nice bonus! The house wasn't too incredibility dirty but of course needed a good cleaning. I'm the type of person that will reclean it after moving in so I figured we would just ask if we could do it ourself for money off of rent. Our landlord is super chill and was totally down. Can't wait to move in!!!!!!!

Which workout should I do tomorrow? Which of the new ones is easier? I need to start with the low impact version of that one.

Can't believe it's quarter to midnight already! This getting up later and going to bed even later is messing me up. The kids never want to get up in the morning, nor go to bed at night!

I've not done CrossFire yet, so I can't advise you Marie. It's incredible you do AB! I almost dread it! To the Max has jumping, especially onto a high step.

Mary, a renovated bathroom is exciting indeed. Be sure to get the mirror adjusted to the height you want. (Tangentially, Oh, how I wish I had a master bath!)

Carolyn, sounds like the perfect beach--hardly anyone there!:D

Moms never get a pat on the back. Taking kids to the beach and back is a lot of work (prep too), then coming home to cook dinner and clean up after. It's endless. It's no longer Mother's Day but I appreciate you all and the myriad things you do!

Nighty night.
