STS first time!

Congrats Betty. So glad you enjoyed Cross train this morning. Yes I received my DVDs on Tuesday. They won't be used for a while. I'm finishing BBPSI next week then I have to take my break. I will need them for BBPSII which I'm staring on July 29th. That will give me a 5 week break and will work perfectly in with our planned vacation in August. My recovery week will be during vacation. I can't wait to hear what the dentist says about your teeth.

Next week is recovery week and I am looking forward to yoga. My body needs it.

We let dd decide if she wanted to do the tennis camp. The other day camp that they will start next week, they do not have a choice since both DH and I work we need to have activities for them in the summer.

Jean our daughters are the same age/grade (8 and finishing up second grade) but Carolyn's son Is older than her dd and my ds is younger than my dd. If I remember correctly her son is 11.

Carolyn, enjoy Marshall's with your sis.
 
Carolyn, how is the size selection at Marshall's and TJmaxx. So they carry a lot of small sizes? Las time I went, which was quite some time ago I couldn't find my size in anything.

So glad you enjoyed your day with your sis. Sounds like a great time. What is the age difference between the two of you?

My DD will be 9 on 11/7.

Jean, sorry about your sisters computer and your countertops. Do you have a laptop you could bring with you next time? That Is fantastic that she is doing so well. 95. That's wonderful!!

Marie Breckin couldn't be any cuter if he wanted to be. His eyes are so big and his lashes are gorgeous. He always wears a smile. You should be so proud of him and the good job you are doing as a Mother.

I do have a laptop and my husband told me to bring it. I already bring enough stuff . If I come back , i will bring it. This is ridiculous. Thanks for clearing me up on the childrens ages.

I agree that I don't like when they start a new move and the camera is looking at the guy and you don't know what to do. I think the series is going to be good whenever I get to really exercise again.

Colleen, you must get into shopping at M/TJM. Do you like yard sales? It's like that, but the brand-name merchandise is new, and the prices are so good, and you never know what you'll find! They have plenty of small sizes.

Jean, why indeed can't we source quartz in our country?? (I saw the hills that carrara marble is quarried from in Italy last year.) That stinks that yours were damaged!

I usually ask ds about the camps, but not in this case. He would have said no, but a friend is attending, and I'm tired of ds spending the whole summer in front of the computer.

Hi Everyone. It is a most beautiful day today. Yesterday fely like fall , today feels like spring.
I couldn't get to sleep last night until 1 am and woke at 7:30. I could have stayed in bed but I had dogs that needed to get outside.
This computer is working good this morning so I thought I better get in a quick post.

Betty I am so glad you enjoyed that movie. I think I might buy it. It was such a good movie.
I keep forgetting to ask you for your Cajun Boil recipe. I know my husband would love that.
Coconut oil is an amazing thing. Dr Oz highly reccomends it. I don't think my Mother would do OP and i don't think my sister would "find time" to add it to her diet. We won't go there. I will try to think of ways to incorporate it into her diet.

Went for a nice walk with my mom today. We stopped and got coffee on the way and then took B to the park. He just loves those swings :)

At work now just finishing up. Miss my baby sooo much! Can't wait to get home!
 
Good morning...up and on the treadmill...trying to get my morning cardio in and then off to publix i will go!

My sunburn is sore!!! But after i shower i will lotion again!!!

Jean, I agree about wanting to own the movie! It is such a gem!
I will update my notes on the recipe and post it on here.

Carolyn, the movie is French, about a paraplegic who gets an unconventional home aide. It is laced with humor, good acting, glimpses of France (I love Western Europe), a nice cast, dignity, grace.

Missy, speaking of coco oil, try lathering that or aloe all over your sunburn, you poor thing!
And speaking of the topic, my dentist appt was amazing! Mind you, I had to point out to my dentist and hygienist to look at my pink gums because they don't examine that way, but they noticed that my plaque and tarter were majorly reduced. You know how I could tell? They only scaled a FRACTION of the time! AND I had NO blood when I rinsed and spit! You guys have no idea how huge that is for me!:D

It was so gorgeous yesterday! What happened today? By the time we woke, the sun already disappeared!

That made us 2 hrs late for the party at my brothers! It was still going strong when we got there. We stayed until after 10:00! My kids went to bed at 11:00!! They are still sleeping. Thank goodness! Carolyn, how great you got to experience both the graduation and the baseball celebrations. High five to Luke.
Dh must be thrilled about the Bruins. We stayed at my sil's till 12:15 because of that.:confused:

On BB LB, you can modify by not doing it on your toes; it's not like we're ballerinas or anything:D. Just keep your feet flat; your knees will strengthen and your feet will improve. You'll still get the upper legs.
I am still achy from UY. In a good way.

Oh yeah, food yesterday was all bad for me. I indulged in desserts, of course.
 
Quick Hello!

I decided to do 4DS this week, so yesterday I did HIS and today was Kickbox. She packs alot into these workouts, and I love the weight work.

We did something we never do - we went with friends last night country line dancing! They did lessons in the beginning, which I could have used alot more of. I couldn't follow most of the time but it was alot of fun.

DDs have final gymnastics show this weekend, one performance yesterday and another this afternoon.

Carolyn, sounds like you had a busy afternoon/evening, good you could fit it all in.

Missy, hope your sunburn is better, do you have aloe to put on it?

Betty, glad the oil worked for you, I should try it just for a better dentist visit.

DH has a sweet tooth so I made a lemon meringue pie for dessert tonight. Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

Thanks Carolyn! He had a wonderful evening with B :) Unfortunately I had to work but oh well, at least they got to spend the evening together :)

Workout today was a long walk with my mom. We ended up at the park with take out sushi. B went on the swings for a bit.

Oh he learned to wave today. As I left for work I waved and said bye bye to him...we have been practicing a lot lately....and he waved back. Tony said he did it a few more times tonight too. Just melts my heart how sweet he is. What a great feeling that he is learning new things.

Off to bed for me.....

Tomorrow off :)
 
Good morning ladies!!

Sorry I was MIA this weekend. The days just got away from me. Saturday I ran for 2.5 miles. The first time in I can't tell you how long. It felt great and my knee did good. I walked the last .5 mile for a total of 3 and I also got a 4 mile bike ride in.

Yesterday was a rest day but I did get a 2 mile walk in

Today was UB BB segments. I still need to do abs tonight and ill try to get a walk in but it's doubtful because I need to run some errands at lunch.
