Jean, I would start with up to a tbsp per day at first? See how she tolerates it and then up it? It's a natural food, and no known allergens have cropped up from its use, so it can't hurt, is how I see it. It gets absorbed by the body very quickly, so it starts working right away (anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory; immuno-enhancing). The only possible side effect from taking too much is runny stool, but that's only likely in very large quantities. The author has "personally taken up to 14 tbsp a day without problem". He says he knows of people treating serious health problems with 10-14 tbsp a day with no adverse side effects.

Betty I am going to give her 1/2 Tbsp with her dinner. Then I will increase after she has that much for a few days. With these new chinese pills , I don't know what is going to happen to her stool. :eek: The breed was in a Jack Nicholson movie but I forget the name of it. She came into the shelter when I was fostering cats and dogs so I fostered her and kept her. I have had her 8 years. She is my best dog. I used to put 2 Tbsp of coco oil in my protein drink everyday per Tosca Reno. Then I ran out and never bought more. Thanks for the advise.
 
Betty----weights can lift them.....if you would you pec muscles alot....so maybe that it.....i want mine up there....I was heavy chested before I lost all my weight (full D)....now I am much smaller (B)....but not 100% happy with them... they are not as perky as I would like them to be.....seems like since starting Zuzka workouts....they may be happier....LOL (lifting) a little?????
 
Carolyn----I thought the same....but am not bothered by them....they are very round....which is what I want! Round, sexy boobies!!! They are on my list of wants.....:) I am researching spin bikes, all the ones I saw at the stores didnt have monitors except the cheap ones???:mad: I did find one that the seat was really comfy but no monitor..... trying to determine if I should spend the extra money and get a really nice one...or get a middle of the road one...since I have never really spin??? not sure what to do?????
 
Also...I will say this....I have been doing Zuzka (today is day 11) and my upper body is really looking good.....and 95% of her workouts are your own body weight only....rairly do you use dumbells.... loving that!:eek:

Tim took my pic yesterday....and said OMG....looks like you can kick my ass...I better be good! LOL:eek:
 
I always love lifting heavy....but I have been enjoying body weight exercises and strangly I am seeing results....my muscles are poping...i never thought that was possible without my dumbells....so I understand!!!!;)

I will say...Zuzka loves Burpees.....I am starting to think I love them too....OMG...I have lost it!

Update on my children....Sally was running around like nothing happened....I so wish humans recovered as quickly as animals....it is amazing!!!!:)

Carolyn, I agree with you holding out on getting the beast. What about doing more HC with Brett's workouts? Have you tried cross train yet?

Missy, you could always get the monitor at a later time. You will quickly want it though. What bikes are you considering?
 
Don't underestimate the body weight training. I don't miss the heavy weights (that is what I'm accustom to doing) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the results I'm getting from BB. She does use some light wights. I've never had the definition I have now.

Missy, which Nordic Track? I have the GX 5.5 Sport.
I'm not liking burpees too much, but since their advent in LIS, I am a lot stronger for it.

I'm with Colleen, Carolyn, both in the direction of training (though I haven't gotten any of the workouts yet) and her agreeing with you to hold off. Especially with your knee issue.
My arms looks great when I'm working out too, but geez, where are the muscles when I'm in a fitting room??
I think I am a bit of both, cranky from being achy (just doesn't go away), and being plain ole ornery.:D
You should pull out CT. And do OP right after you brush your teeth at night. Add eat, and cook and moisturize your face with c.o..
My knees and feet are feeling my step workout.:confused: I can't remember what neuroma is but I keeping thinking of that when my feet hurt on days I do Cathe. The big toe and big bone area hurt and it feels like they are separating/spreading or something.

If Cathe did do an augmentation, I'll give her credit for not going oversized. In fact, that's what I'd do. Carolyn, your socks with rocks and 'empty' comments are hysterical!:D Fits me to a T.
Do you guys think her face is fuller too?

DH and I went for an evening walk after dinner the past two nights. It was nice. Pitiful of me to stay in practically all day on such a gorgeous day!
 
My mom and I just finished an hour elliptical/weight workout. Love her home gym. And love how she works it! Have a good day everyone!

Up...did my morning zuzka and cardio....last night I was exhausted....went to sleep at 9....never even heard Tim come to bed. Didnt wake up till alarm went off at 5:45....if the alarm didnt go off I prob would still be sleeping! Lol

As for bikes....i think thats the one Betty.....i'm torn....i really liked the one at academy sports but it had no monitor....but the ride was really smooth....and the seat was cushy....i loved it.....

Colleen....did you say i can buy a monitor to add to the bike????

I am thinking i am going to buy cathes spin dvds....since i can use the coupon this month.....

Carolyn...you are full of it....you are beautiful and fit.....i hope to look like you when i catch up to you....which will not be long....my bday is may 26.....I only have a few more days in my twenties....yes I will be 30!!! But...im in the best shape of my life....not scared!!! Lol

Good morning!!

Rest day today. It's going to be beautiful today so I brought my sneakers with me to work an will take a walk at lunch. I actually got up this morning and went back to bed. Just could get motivated so I figured I needed the rest.

Carolyn, I agree with Missy. Don't be too hard on yourself. You are beautiful. We are our own worst critics. I know I think much less of myself than others do. DH and family always tell me how great I look and I just think the opposite. Why? I have no clue.

Missy, what I meant was some bikes you have to purchase the monitor separate. You could jus get the bike now and get a monitor later (if available). I had to buy mine separate but I got it when we purchased the bike. Well DH did. It was an anniversary present. Which was exactly what I wanted!!!

Betty, are your still sore?
