Good evening....been very busy today.
Just made a pot of chicken noodle soup....yummy on a cold day....it was 27 her this morning!! Not a fan of the cold temps!!!
On the elliptical now....trying to burn off some peanut brittle!!!
Carolyn--- i hope the sweater fits!!!

Good afternoon!!! Been busy cleaning out closets...i am not a junker...i hate clutter...i love to get rid of things!!!

We are having dinner at the inlaws tonight.....
And tomorrow...well...is chriatmas eve....yeah!!! That means it tradition....tim and i do a jigsaw puzle...so excited!! I am a nerd...i know it!!!

Hi everyone,
Yesterday was Christmas with DH's side. 10 hours we were there! Too many desserts. I ate smallish helpings of a number of the desserts.
Tomorrow morning will be my last workout in my living room before my 4 guests arrive. It won't be possible to exercise while all these people are around, including both sons on school vacation. (I hate it when my kids don't have the school routine; they drive me insane.) At most, sis and I will get some walks in. She's good for that.
Jean, at some random point I remembered that I forgot to answer your question about the last Fifty book. Before I could reply, it came in yesterday. So, I'll dutifully read the last one, but I'm not holding out any hopes for stellar improvement. Plus, you already warned it's no better.
Hope you had a nice visit with mom and sis.
Colleen, great job with the workouts this weekend! Hope your hair came out nicely. It's such a wonderful Aaaahhh feeling to have them done.
Carolyn, I can totally relate on that sour cream thing! The feeling you get when you suddenly realize, omg, I forgot to buy what I went out to get! Too many dang distractions all around.
I've never heard of Sundance, but hope the medium sweater runs small for you!
Took me a few times to figure out your socks with rocks comment. That's a good one!

Yesterday we drove by one of the big malls and I nearly choked when I saw how full the parking lots were! Every. spot. taken. What a dreadful way to shop! Imagine how many people were inside the mall?? You have to walk like herded cattle, and dodge people coming from the opposite direction! Like Carolyn, I rarely go to malls! TJM/Marshalls all the way for me.
We survived the end of the world day Friday! And the days are now officially getting longer! Yay! However, they'll get colder!
Enjoy the days leading up to Christmas! Somehow those are more enjoyable than after!

Booty barre huh? What is that like Colleen? I am not a fan of tb so is it like that? I do love doms though!
Betty, I had to laugh at the socks with rocks comment. I wondered if you could picture it! Remember tube socks?! Put just a handful of rocks in each one...put the end of the sock up against your chest...isnt it pretty how it sags?! Tmi?! Sorry! I will never forget the nurse that gave me that analogy. She was teaching me how to nurse my first baby. It lead to the sock conversatuon! At the time I could not imagine it! Now?! Oh yes!

Good morning! Merry Christmas Eve!!!
Carolyn, booty barre is like TB. I didn't like TB at first either. But let me tell you, the DOM I have been getting with the barre workouts have been crazy. I think what's drawn me to them has been the issue with my knee. I really can take the weight with the lunges and squats. When I did TBTLO last week. My knee was talking to me for 2 days. I don't get that with the barre workouts. I'm hoping thy I will be able to take xTrain legs.
That is too funny with the socks and rocks. I can totally relate. Haha!!

Merry Christmas Eve, gals!
I did AT earlier, and am trying to make bacon & Belgian waffles now. I've only used the maker once before and it wasn't pretty.
When the kids are home, bkfast is closer to noon! I hate it. I'm not starving but I despise how lackadaisical they are about getting up! I could burst a vein. This I what I loathe about school vacations. You'd think I'd love my kids being home all day. Not!
There's a very brief scene in AT that has baffled me since I got the LIS series. It's about 30 secs into the first combo. The camera is facing a different angle and I can't for the life of me make out which side it is. It does not belong. Has anyone else noticed??
Carolyn, how sweet DS climbed in for a snuggle and chat! Mine stopped about 6th grade. Happy birthday to him!

Merry Chrismas everyone! We are headed over to Tony's dad's in a bit. I should be making the apple dip we are bringing but I'm being lazy Marscarpone, caramel and chopped walnuts. So tasty!
Duluth was great! My mom loved the Cathe workouts. We did AB, 4DS Bootcamp and 4DS Kickbox the past 3 days. She had major DOMS! Love it! Today was Athletic Step for me.

Well...Santa remembered me this year!!!
My husband is the best!!! He got me me the pink boxing gloves, some fitness books, 2 sports bras, running shorts, pink zensahs, and the big gift....a 26" flat screen tv for my gym with the wall mount...so i can move/angle it around to wear I need it!!!!
So freaking excited....
Hope everyone got lots if gifts!!!
