STS first time!

Thanks Becky!

Just went to Dunkin Donuts and got me a Large UnSweet Tea! Yum!!!! I am probably the only person that would go to DD to get unsweet tea!!! $1.06....that's a deal!!! :p

I am a freak over unsweet tea!!!! Can't live without it! I drink at least 2 gallons of unsweet tea a week! hehehe :) 0 calories all day long! I like to eat my calories! i save them all for food!!!!

Good Afternoon! Looks like I am the only one around today!

Well, tonight I am doing Afterburn I think???? Not sure.... Want an awesome workout....but with low impact. I always try to be extra careful before a race!!!!

:D

Thanks Gals on the well wishes at the doctors.

It actually went very well today. I was very pleased with this doctor. He is going on a few things right now. He thinks it might be systemic from being so sick earlier this year. I had a very bad case of bronchitis and asthma earlier this year. I was on antibiotics for several months with inhalers and steroids and a nebulizer. Apparently it’s common after being sick and on so much medication that it can cause intolerance to gluten and wheat (basically cause havoc to your digestive system). He is going to do a full panel blood work and also test for Celiac. He wants me to continue my diet of no wheat and dairy and is also putting me on a probiotic to let my system settle for a bit of time. I feel it’s a step in the right direction…

Missy, enjoy Afterburn and your new phone.

Colleen, that was such a helpful appt! I like this doc too!

Carolyn, you had sun today?! Here, it was clouded over all day, and so chilly:confused:! Blah weather, blah mood. Not productive at all.:(

Quick check in for me....

Breast feeding and typing one handed is hard. B is doing great and so am I!!! He is a little rockstar at feeding!

Good to be back to reading the updates. I'd type more personals but this one handed thing is no fun!

Hopefully more later.

Love ya girls :)

Carolyn, enjoy the field trip today! It was so sunny and beautiful yesterday today, not so much. Cloudy and rainy.

Hi Marie! You're a trooper to post while you're feeding! So wonderful to hear from you!

Colleen, we've got the sun today. It's supposed to hit low 60s! Good luck at the MRI reading today.

Carolyn, enjoy the field trip. DS won't let me go on them any more. He went on the Freedom Trail yesterday.

Jean, where are you? It's unlike you not to post for a day. Hope you're well.

Oatmeal, then errands. Later!

Good Morning Ladies!!

Checking in with a awesome workout this morning. I felt really good this morning. I did STS disk 17. I did the last round of trisets squats with 25 pounds today. My feel like my legs are getting so strong. I had to modify the slide back lunges with paper plates. My knees do not like those moves.

I also did afterburn express. I had extra time this AM to work out. I had never done the express version before. I really like it because she only did one of each exercise, but it did move really fast so I did have to pause a few times. I don't think the combo was too friendly on my knee though.

I have my knee appointment to find out my MRI results. I’m anxious to find out what he has to say. He put me on an anti-inflammatory (naproxen), but I can’t take it because it plays havoc on my stomach.

Missy, enjoy your days off and good luck on your next 5K. Did you get your iPhone? I too love apple products!!!

Hi to everyone!!!

Good Morning/Afternoon!

Last night was very busy but got my workout in. This morning I got up bright and early and squeezed in CSS and Ab circuits!

I had to take Sylvestis to the vet to get spayed! Lots of tears. I felt aweful for leaving her. Everytime I take any of our animals to vet and leave them, I feel bad till I pick them up. I just don't want her to think I left her and don't love her. But, life is difficult sometimes....dealing with it! I get to pick her up at 4pm.

I have not got my iphone yet, too busy...probably tomorrow. Tonight I am going running with my friend. And I just found out that we will get a 20% discount at verizon since my husband works for John Deere. So, I have to take him with with and a pay stub. Heck yeah!!! 20% off the bill for life!!! :D

Just got back from the grocery store...$180...later!!! I am going to be broke by tonight....can you beleive it will cost me $161.00 to spay her. That is crazy!!! And they wonder why people don't do it!!!

Colleen---Good luck with the MRI....hopefully it is good news!

Carolyn---Have fun on the field trip....also, did you get the Oxygen bookazine Bob's tough love workouts? Just got it today....grabbed it as soon as the lady was putting them on the magazne rck...looking forward to some good reading this afternoon.

Jean---Are you okay? We miss ya!

Marie---You are a rockstar too!!!! Soak up all that baby love!!! Give him a hug and kiss for me!!! Also, make sure you give Tony some love...don't forget about him. I saw the pic of you, him and baby B on facebook....priceless! You have a beautiful family!!! :)

Betty, Mary, Becky---- hello to you too!

Off to eat lunch! Be back...lots of things to do today!!! I want to try nd get all my chores done today so tomorrow I can lounge around!!!!

Hello all!

Broke out the step again today for Low Impact Challenge. It looked easier on preview than it turned out to be, ha! But I liked it -- the choreography was fun but not too hard to pick up.

Missy -- I hear you on the spaying. We paid a fortune to spay our pets, and two of them are from rescue. Rescue pets used to be free at some of the local clinics, or greatly discounted, but not anymore. Sigh.

I'm back...just picked Sylvestis up from surgery. She meowed the entire ride home. She is now back home and happy. And momma's happy My heart was hurting and head pounding from the stress. Daddy too. I just called him to let him know everything was okay...he said Oh good...my head is hurting! We are just a couple of softies!!!

Gotta start preparing dinner.....I have to be back in town to go running at 6:30!

Just got home from our run.....

my stats....4.26 miles 42.32 minutes....9.59 minute miles...we did good!!!

Jean---we have a clinic once a month through a kitty sanctuary...but she is not very people friendly other than Tim and I...plus I needed a vet to check her front paw. Swollen and occasionally bleeds. So I got it stuck to me, but I feel much better now that she is home! The kittens are getting fixed the end of December through the clinic.

Off to shower....

I just have to say...Cathe is truely the best. She goes over and beyond....I just love the fact that she gets on the forums and talks with us. It truely means alot! It is like having our own personal trainer at home!!! Awesome!!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Gorgeous day today! So thankful it's not cold!

Carolyn, I've never heard of America's Stonehenge! So Massachusetts-centric! When you mentioned last year you went to Plimoth Plantation (a very long ride for us, even much longer for you!), it hit me that, hello, each state has its own field trip sites. I loved going on my DS's field trips, but after elementary school, it was kind of weird to go. And he doesn't want me there.
Hope you're having a great time with your friend this evening!

Missy, I saw Cathe's reply to your question!:D She's so nice.
You and Tim are such soulmates with your similar worry for your kitty. Adorable! Glad she's all set.
That is an awesome discount at Verizon! That will add up to substantial savings over time! Wow!

Jean, too bad you don't have your book! I feel completely lost if I'm ever without reading material. Happy birthday to your sister. My sister's birthday was on the 23rd. Enjoy your time there. Safe drive home. We are definitely going to get some effects from this hurricane. Right now it sounds like it will make landfall in NJ first, so our effect will be diminished. But who knows? It's still so far away.
Great deal on your jeans! I love jeans, Jean.:D Sorry, that was silly!

Becky, LICh is a lot of fun, but also vexing to learn! I wish I had it down. Then it would be fun.

Colleen, what's the verdict with the MRI?

Oh, got in a 42-min walk today. I'm killing it this month! The weather is a huge help though.

Good Morning ladies!!! Happy Friday.

Today I am doing laundry! Going to the local running store and getting compression sleeves! Gotta have them for high milage running! Never thought I would get into running, but I absolutely love it!!!

I am all pumped up for Xtrain....I just can't wait!!!

Check back later! Gotta get Tim off to work! :):)

Good Morning.

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to post last night. Thursdays nights are a little hectic around my house. My daughter had her piano and I had to catch up on some work last night.

Anyway…The doctor appointment was OK. The knee is for the most part in really good shape (which is great news). I do have a bunch of small cysts behind my knee, but my pain is in front of the knee. He thinks that it is inflamed and aggravated which is causing the fluid to build up and then the fluid travels behind the knee and the cysts forms. So he wants me to do 4-6 weeks of physical therapy and see if that helps and then we will go from there. Still doesn’t quite make sense to me, doesn’t explain the knee pain, don’t get me wrong I am super glad nothing is fundamentally wrong, but I’d like a little bit more of an answer. So I guess it’s off to physical therapy to see that will help. I already thought my legs were strong, but I guess they will help me determine what needs to gain some strength.

Jean, I’m glad you are ok. Happy birthday to your sister. My parents live just right outside of Annapolis. $50 on two pairs of jean is awesome. I haven’t had much time to read this week. Hoping I can do some over the weekend.

Carolyn, glad you enjoyed the field trip. Good luck getting all the pool furniture put away. It will be interesting to see what happens with Sandy. Right now it looks like she will first hit New Jersey. Right were our family has a beach house.

Missy, glad Sylvestis is ok. Great job on your run yesterday.

My daughter will make her first communion in the spring and I found at on Tuesday night (after CCD) that one parent has to attend a sacrament forum from 8-12 tomorrow morning. So I will be attending tomorrow. Tonight we have two parades for Halloween. My son’s is at 4:30 at his school then we have to be at my daughter’s school at 5:30 for hers. Lots of running around tonight, but the kids are super excited.

Betty, great job on the walk! I just love this time of year to be outside and get some fresh air and exercise.

This morning I did a Spineravls workout. It concentrated on form so it was a good recovery workout from yesterday because the focus was not on intensity or heart rate. I did 14 miles

Time to work…

Have a great day!!

Okay...so I have finished scrubbing both bathrooms, on 2nd load of laundry, and just finished on elliptical. I am not sitting down to eat breakfast and then off to town.

BTW...Sylvestis is doing really well today. It is so cute. Her 1st litter of kittens, we got rid of all but 1. He is uncatchable. He lives here, but you just can't touch him. He looked after the 3 kittens yesterday. He is the mom when Sylvestis is not around. hehehe :D Too cute. But last night he sat and watched over all of them. It was so..... well "beautiful" The family all pulling together for a healthy recovery.

be back!

Carolyn, I was wondering if they are going to do the same thing here too with Halloween. Will be interesting for sure.

Very interesting news COlleen. I am so glad that there isn't anything terribly wrong. Did he say what he thinks the cause of the fluid is? arthritis? SOmething is causing the fluid buildup. Mine is the tear. Odd that you have pain in the front with the cysts in the back. I only have it in the back. Until today that is! I have been having a stabbing pain everyonce in a while right on the front side.
Hopeuflly PT will help you.

Gotta run. lots to do.

Not really sure what is causing the fluid. I've been doing lots of reading and what he said about PT, ice, stretching and better shoes is what most recommend. So I guess time will tell.
