Good morning, ladies!
I got an earlier start than usual because of errands later so I'm all done working out already. I pulled out another super dusty one--CCC. I am drenched! I think more so than from CF & TTM. This is a high intensity, high impact workout!
I'm eating my quick-cook steel-cut oatmeal with pumpkin seeds, toasted almond slivers, dried cranberries (too lazy to cut an apple), black sesame seeds, and a dusting of plant protein powder. Enough info for ya??
Carolyn, I was wondering where on the seacoast you live. I'm pretty clueless about NH, only having a general idea of where the White Mtns are (NConway outlets and StoryLand). Yikes, that's pretty hairy with Seabrook nearby. Wow, you guys really felt the earthquake. Here's what was said about the power plant in Yahoo: The Seabrook Station nuclear plant, about 63 miles away in New Hampshire, declared an unusual event — the lowest of four emergency classifications — but said it was not affected. The plant has been offline for refueling.
"There has been no impact at all to the plant from the earthquake and our refueling maintenance activities have not been affected," said Alan Griffith, spokesman for Next EnergyEra Seabrook Station.
I applied henna on my hair over the weekend. I'm on a lessen-chemicals-to-my-body kick. (Henna only works on dark hair, I think.)
Your 'beauty' appt cost might be less expensive than in Boston. I love those salon treatments though--feels like pampering.
Marie, you must be busy snuggling with your newborn and marveling at his beauty! (((Hugs))) Get yourself some sleep. Pretty soon you'll be a nursemaid.
I can't believe you had the wherewithal to post for us. You are amazing! I'd have been in a pain fog.
Missy, I'm so sorry to hear about what happened during Hurricane Charlie! Thank heavens you and Tim are all right. And you are so positive and optimistic, it's infectious. I had to smile when you said the weight bench was keeping the living room from caving in.
Colleen, good luck with your knee appt. I think we get to a certain age and the fact that we work out so frequently, it affects our bodies in different ways and catches up with us. Better this than issues from bad health though, I feel.
