Cathlete
This morning was disc 23, legs. The last of the trisets. I am kind of sad and excited at the same time. I like the trisets but I am also ready to move on. Well, I thought about the Chicago RT but just can’t bring myself to spend that kind of money. I know I am missing out on a once in a lifetime opportunity but DH and I really don’t have a lot of extra money to spend on things. I feel like if we are going to spend close to $700 it should be on a vacation we both will enjoy. I’m kind of sad knowing I am missing my chance to meet Cathe but I still feel good about the decision.
Eunice Great job on CSS! I like that one a lot too. I kind of think of it as Afterburn Lite. It does get you good with all the different moves though. Enjoy your DOMS! I think you have more confidence in me restricting carbs than I do of myself. I have told Maggie she is lucky to have someone control her food for her. If I had that, I think I would look awesome!
Janie Great job on your treadmill workout! No problem on the disc numbers. I get them mixed up a lot too and sometimes have to go back and look before I post. Don’t beat yourself up too bad about the sweet potatoes. It was an honest mistake and now you know. Plus you didn’t gain any weight so that good (yes losing would be better but gaining would be worse). That would be great if this diet works for your GERD as well as everything else. It is so hard to find a way of eating that works for our whole bodies. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!
Pam Great job on TBT LB! I always think it is pretty short too and could have something added on. Besides abs, I have thought adding on the leg conditioning drills from Lower Body Blast would be a nice compliment. As a disclaimer, I am not a doctor nor do I have any medical training. My DH would strongly urge you to take any medical advice from me with a grain of salt. He tends to think I am a drill sergeant when it comes to physical stuff. I am more of the “just rub some dirt in it, you’ll be fine” kind of mentality. Not always a good thing. Just something to think about before you go full force! No DH has not started his healthy eating yet. He did set a date of February 6 (the day after the Super Bowl, how convenient ). So that is a start, plus it gives me a little bit of time to get his menu planned out and start cooking his food. Something I haven’t done in years which is probably why his cholesterol is as high as it is.
Have a great day!
