Cheryl Great job on STS 2 TBS and P30 MB! Hopefully yoga and mobility will help with the stiffness and soreness. Could be the cooler weather moving in not helping with it either.

This morning was a heavy lower body day! It is getting cooler around here but I know I can't complain about the weather when Florida is about to get slammed with another and potentially worse hurricane.

This morning was P30 Yoga. I sure am stiff so I really do need to work on my flexibility. Now I need to get groceries and figure out what to do with the rest of my day.

Cheryl Great job on P30 Yoga! Flexibility is almost as hard to work on as weight lifting at times. I have horribly tight adductors that I am trying to work on increasing the flexibility and it just seems to not progress much from week to week.

This morning was a heavy upper body workout. I did not get the greatest sleep last night so there was some struggling. I also forgot my jacket in the office yesterday afternoon since it got warm in the afternoon which means my walk in this morning was a chilly one.

Julie For me my adductors are also tight but my quads are really tight as well. Great job on your heavy upper body workout with not getting a great nights sleep. It is that time of year when the mornings are chilly and the afternoons warm. Don't forget your jacket today.

This morning was LITE Extended Stretch 1 and 2. Now I need to get ready to get out to my mom's to take her to an eye doctor appointment..

Cheryl Great job on LITE ES 1&2! Hope your mom's appointment went well. I did remember my jacket yesterday afternoon. Definitely going to need it next week as we are cooling off.

This morning was my sleep in day and I was happy to get to sleep in a little. Looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow even more and maybe resting up over the weekend.

Julie My mom's appointment went well though she does need cataract surgery. We are now waiting to hear when she may be able to get in for it. I hope you can sleep in this weekend and rest up.

Thursday I just went for a walk before I needed to go to the SPCA. It was a very busy day there and I was there most of the day. Friday I took as a day off and got all of the housework and laundry done. I even did a few errands and then went outside to clean up leaves. They are starting to fall a lot faster now. This morning I did LITE Metabolic Blast. This is our Thanksgiving weekend so we are going over to my brother and SIL's for dinner tomorrow. So I need to go get some vegetables to bring over for it.

Friday I did a heavy lower body workout and then some things around the house before I took Gunner to a vet appointment for a chiro adjustment. Saturday was my mobility day and then more housework. Sunday was a heavy upper body workout and then being lazy. This morning I slept in even more than normal as I just got really cruddy sleep all weekend. Not sure what it is. Maybe the weather cooling off.

This morning I did a heavy lower body workout. I got a little better sleep which helped me be able to go a little heavier than if I had gotten bad sleep again. We did get to almost freezing this morning on my drive into the office. Yuck!

Hi ladies, it looks like you have both been doing well. I got home from Erie/Ithaca last night and was exhausted. I am ready to be home for awhile and get back into my routine. The two days in the mountains were really exhausting. We pretty much spent the whole time unloading pallets of donated stuff and organizing it in the old school building that they turned into a warehouse for everything. It is at the top of a hill so there was a lot of walking up and downstairs carrying stuff. We were also helping people who were coming by to get things that they needed. IT was amazing to see how much stuff had been donated and it just kept coming in. We were really glad that we went and would definitely do it again. We got back Thursday afternoon and then I flew that night to Erie and we left to drive to Ithaca on Friday morning. We had a really good time and now we’re talking about doing an annual girls weekend. We’ll see if that happens. This morning I did Cardio and Weights, which I haven’t done in forever. It was a good lighter one after having so many days of not working out, Have a great day.

Julie Great job on your two heavy lower body workouts, your mobility work and your heavy upper body workout. I have been having the same problem with sleeping. It may be the change in the weather and probably not getting outside as much. Oh yuck getting to freezing is not good.

Pam You were busy helping out and getting your workout with all the stairs. That is great that a lot of people donated to help out. An annual girls weekend sounds like fun. Good work on Cardio and Weights. I haven't done that one in forever either.

Sunday I took as a day off but I did go to the farmers market and then got all the veggies prepped for dinner. Thanksgiving dinner was really good and we saw family that we don't see that often. Monday I did P30 Upper Body and then I cleaned the carpets. It was a really rainy day so I figured it was a good day to get it done. This morning I did PRS 2 sort of. I have not done much cardio at all for the past year because of my knee (which is doing so much better now) and it really showed. I couldn't make it through the workout which used to be easy for me. My cardio has really gone down the pooper :p so that is something I need to work on. The only cardio I have really done is either walking or dragon boating which is good but not the same. Now I need to go get groceries and then I am meeting a friend in the afternoon.

Pam Great job on C&W! I just remember the music to that one as being fun! That is awesome that you saw how much is getting done in that area. There was so much devastation, that I think it is just going to take time to clean up and rebuild but I love that there are people donating things for immediate needs. Glad you had fun at your SILs too!

Cheryl Glad you had a great Thanksgiving and got to catch up with some family. Great job on P30 UB and what you could of PRS2! I have only done walking for the last year or more. I doubt I could make it through a Cathe warmup. I really should try to do something but right now I am enjoying what I am doing so that makes it hard to add another day in or change something out.

This morning was a heavy upper body workout with heavy deadlifts! Again I got cruddy sleep so I wasn't able to go as heavy as I wanted but I did something and stayed safe while doing the deadlifts so that is a win for me. Another freezing more (literally) as my drive in said 30 degrees.

Julie Great work on your heavy upper body workout and heavy deadlifts. I can't go as heavy as I would like with deadlifts because it feels as if my back could go out if I go too heavy. Yikes that is cold. It is not that cold here yet but it is getting there.

This morning was P30 Lower Body + the Extended Stretch Bonus. Now I need to get ready to go out to my mom's and take her out.

Cheryl I’m glad that you had a nice Thanksgiving diner with your family. Great job on P30 UB and cleaning the carpets! Great job on sort-of PRS! It’s amazing to me how fast my cardio capacity goes down (And kind’ve frustrating too). And every activity is different for sure.
Julie Great job on your hub and heavy deadlifts! Staying safe during your workout is definitely a win! I am really NOT ready for cold weather yet!

It looks like I forgot to post yesterday but I did Great Glutes and my glutes and calves are feeling it today! I had a wish delivery in the afternoon and then met a couple of friends for a drink. This morning I did Circuit Max, another one I hadn’t done in forever. Now I need to get some things done around the house. Have a great day!

Pam I am hoping to get my cardio capacity up again but I don't know if it will be the same as it was a year ago. I will see how it goes. Great job on Great Glutes and Circuit Max.

I had a good time with my mom though we are going through a losing streak at the casino :p. Hopefully our luck will change. This morning was ICE Rock'em Sock'em Kickbox. Now I need to get ready to go to the SPCA. We are getting a lot of kitties today so I will be there for a while helping out.

This morning was another oldie - High Step Challenge and it was a challenge for me! Why are all of these workouts so much harder than I remember?! There is something going on with Mac’s breathing so we have a vet appointment this afternoon. He is acting normal, but his stomach and chest are all moving in and out whenever he breaths which is pretty concerning. Hopefully it isn’t anything serious. Have a great day!

Pam Great job on HSC. I am also finding that the old higher impact workouts don't work for me anymore. I am learning that now that I am getting older lower impact, more strength training and working on my mobility and flexibility are what works best. I am really looking forward to Cathe's new workouts because this is just what I need. I hope Mac will be OK.

Friday I took as a day off and got all the housework and laundry done. Today I did STS 2 Mobility 1 and 2. Today is also a Provincial election day for us so I had to go to vote. Unfortunately there is also an atmospheric river happening today too so it was really wet having to walk down there. There are puddles everywhere and some roads are flooding. I think I am now going to stay in and stay dry.

Cheryl Great job on ICE RSK and STS 2 Mobility 1 & 2! Hopefully your streak at the casinos turns around soon. That doesn't sound fun getting wet on your walk down to vote. Hopefully you didn't have to wait too long to vote so you weren't soaked for too long.

Friday I did a heavy lower body workout and then DH and I went to Lowes and Costco. Saturday was no workout because DH and I helped transport a Bernese Mountain Dog to their new home. We had to leave our house by 4 in the morning and got back around 10 in the morning. I could have worked out then but I was pretty exhausted so just did some things around the house and relaxed. Sunday was a heavy upper body day and this morning was my sleep in day!

Julie Great job on your heavy lower body workout! That is awesome that you guys transported the dog to it’s new home. I love Bernese Mountain dogs! I don’t blame you for not feeling like working out after that though. Great job on your heavy upper body workout! I hope you had a nice sleep in!

Saturday I did Revved up Rumble and then I had 2 wish deliveries. Sunday was my rest day, and I had another 2 wish deliveries, so I did a lot of driving this weekend. This morning was Crossfire plus core. It turned out that Mac had a lot of fluid in his belly and chest and between that and his bloodwork he was diagnosed with FIP. The treatment for it was not FDA approved until this past June, and without the treatment it is a death sentence. Thousands of people were treating their cats for the last several years, but vets were not allowed to be involved. Anyway, I was able to start treating him Friday night and he is already doing a lot better. He was so much more playful by Saturday and I am noticing his breathing is improving. I was told it would take 5-7 days for the fluids to be reabsorbed so I am feeling positive about how it’s going. It’s an 84 days treatment, so will be a long road, but I’m so glad that he can actually treat them now. Luckily he is taking the injections pretty well. Have a great day!

Pam Good job on Revved Up Rumble and Crossfire. That is great news about Mac and that he is OK with the injections. 84 days is a long time but if it helps him it is worth it.

Sunday I went with a couple of friends to the West Coast Women's show. It was another rainy day but it was nice to do something inside. We ended up getting between about 10 to 12 inches of rain from Friday to Sunday. Today I did Push Pull and then I went to get groceries. This afternoon DH had a dermatologist appointment and he does have something that needs to be removed. We will find out when the appointment is with the surgeon tomorrow.
