Janie You weren't kidding when you said that you had a lot of weeding to do :D. I been a gofer many times, it gives you something a bit different to do. Good job on you bike ride and playing your guitar.

So Sunday I did Yoga Relax, Monday was Step Blast but I could only do the first 2 combos (I was too tired to do any more than that), Tuesday was STS disc 1 Chest Shoulders and Biceps (I really want to do this series again) and today was HiiT Double Wave Pyramid and BOSU abs. Tuesday was DH birthday so we went downtown and bummed around. We also tried out one of the food carts (we have so many here). My brother has a favorite one so we met him at Mom's Grilled Cheese cart on his lunch break. It was good too, though it isn't something I would do all the time or else I will gain about 10 pounds :eek:. Later we went to DH's favorite pizza place. Then we we got home one of our neighbours brought over cupcakes and another neighbour invited us over for an ice cream birthday cake. Yikes I am glad he only has a birthday once a year, that was a lot of food that we ate.

The ball of my foot hurts again by just kneeling down and curving my toes. Dang! Plan on doing MM tonight. Been in a little slump lately and gained some weight. Need to correct that. Yesterday Joey and I got our tricycles out. So much fun.

Cheryl, Great job on yoga relax Sunday and for Monday's Step Blast. First two combos are better than nothing, really. Janie I hope your foot pain goes away fast. I am with you on the weight gain. I have gained weight too and need to get it off. Fun for you and Joey riding your tricycles.

Today was STS Disc 2 Back and Biceps. It was a cold and rainy day here so it was pretty much a lazy day after my workout.

Walked with Rolly briefly on the beach and took photos and tonight did Total Body Sculpting. We're seriously thinking about getting another tricycle but fit for two people. Joey will modify it to a small motor so we can go a longer way on the beach. We will still pedal it, and be relieved of a little hardship as we go uphills.

Cheryl, I hope the foot pains go away for ever! Thank you for your hopes, they are so appreciated. Great job on STS Disc 2 back and biceps. Good for you!

Cardio Day: Walked on the beach with Rolly with kinda sore foot(I think I'm careful). Next time will be faster, longer and the next after that will be faster still. LOL! Also did Total Body Stretching.

Walking on the beach I noticed more Velella washing up on shore only this time they're not as many and they are blue. Then Rolly, enjoying life on the beach as well. I also took some photos of horses and the owners asked if I would like a photo of myself sitting on one. Well, Of Course!




The marvels to be found on the beach! It was a very misty morning.

Janie Good job on Total Body Sculpting and Total Body Stretching. Sorry that your foot is still giving you problems. That would be so cool a tricycle built for two and with a motor too. I really liked your pictures. I always thought it would be fun to ride a horse on the beach.

Yesterday I did Slide and Glide, just the cardio and abs. In the afternoon I went for a 5 km walk around a park that is very close to us. It was a really nice day and a lot of people were out. Today I did STS disc 3 Legs. That one always gets me in the lower back for some reason so I have to be careful. In the afternoon I vacuumed out the car and washed it. It was in desperate need of it :eek:.

Ok ladies, sorry for being MIA again. As usual work has been crazy. I have not had time to post during work time and I have a hard time getting on the computer or iPad at night or on the weekends. Just don’t want to see a computer screen after work. I have been keeping up with 4 days of Get Glutes. Still in Month 10.

Janie You have been doing so good with your walks and working out. Great pictures. I had to look up Velella as I had never heard of it before. It is really pretty but blue is my favorite color so I am probably biased.

Cheryl Great job on S&G cardio and abs, 5k walk, and cleaning your car. I need to clean my car. Not the most pleasant thing to clean. Always awkward trying to get into all the crevices.

Janie I have been enjoying your pictures from your beach walks, how wonderful! Great job on all those long walks!

Cheryl The weather has definitely warmed up here again. It was in the high 90s over the weekend. Not sure what it was like last week while I was gone, but the nice part is that despite being so hot during the day it has been like mid 70's in the evenings. Great job on RK. I hope you are enjoying your staycation!!

Janie How is all of that weeding coming? I was noticing last night that I need to get out and do some spot weeding. It is a never ending battle! It can be fun to be a gopher once in awhile! That is so nice that you made dinner for your UFO group. It sounds like your guitar drawing may be a project for a UFO get together......

Cheryl Great job on YR, Step Blast and STS disc 1, Hiit DWP and BOSU abs! You really are jumping right back into the swing of your workouts! It sounds like you have some great neighbors, that's a lot of fun. it's definitely a good thing that birthdays only happen once a year.

How awesome that those people let you get on their horse for a photo! it seems that you are really really enjoying your place at the beach. I really like your pictures, but especially the ones of the feathers with the drops of water on them. Very cool! Great job on Body Fusion too!

I had a nice time in Paris. I got there early Sunday morning and spent the day touring around. I first walked to see where I needed to be on Monday and it turned out to be a 35 minute walk each way. Then I went into town and took a boat tour around on the Seine. It was nice because it had 8 different stops on you could just hop on and off as you wanted. We got a thunderstorm that day, but it was when I had stopped at an outdoor cafe for lunch, and they had a covered awning over the tables, so it was kind've nice. We had a really good group of students and several of us went out after class on a couple of the evenings. I did all of the highlights - pain au chocolate for breakfast (every day!), crepes, escargot, foie gras. The only workouts I got were walking around town, but I did do quite a bit of that, so it wasn't too bad. We finished class early, so I ended up with all day Friday to sight see also. It was a gorgeous day and I went to Sacre Cour, had lunch on the left bank, walked the Champs-Elysee and also toured Vincennes. It was great to get home though! I didn't sleep well Saturday night, was wide awake at 2 and had a terrible time getting back to sleep. I was super tired yesterday, but we went water skiing and I think that helped to completely wear me out because I slept well last night. I decided to repeat week 2 of meso 2 before moving on to week 3 after having a week off, so this morning was Hiit 40/20 and I added core #2 from XTrain. Happy Monday!

Rolly and I walked on the beach for 30 min. Did Total Body Sculpting tonight. I can still feel a little soreness so still taking it easy on that foot.

This is the beginnings of my next drawing, 11" X 14". It's the "Love Of Playing The Guitar". It might be called "Love Of Music". I put this on FB so I'm encouraged to work on it. LOL



Cheryl, Oh, about the tricycle, they decided not to sell it. Bummer. Great job on yesterday's Slide and Glide cardio and abs part. Oh my and for the 5km walk around the park. Also for doing today's STS disc 3 legs and for cleanmax.

Julie, Just glad you pop in now and again so we know you are OK. Great job keeping up with your workouts from Get Glutes in month 10. Yea! Blue is my favorite color as well.

Pam, Awe Pam, that is so sweet to catch up on the posts as you did. That's a lot of work girl. Thank you! I stopped weeding, I couldn't keep up. Will do better next year in the Spring before it gets out of hand. I think you are right about taking my drawing to the UFO meeting tomorrow. The people who had the trike for two decided they wanted to keep it. Bummer isn't it. Oh well, you can't win them all. I enjoyed all the photos on FB in Paris and just sponged it up. Wow! Thank you for the walk through of Paris. How wonderful it must be! And very proud of you for doing what you did for exercises, walking a lot! How fun. Yes, I think you had jet lag. Great job coming home safely and going water skiing. And for a good night rest. Great job on this mornings HiiT 40/20 and the addition of Core 2 from XTrain. So glad you are back.

I don't mind the work of posting here, it's fun work! Darn about the trike, but maybe another one will come along....? I'm so glad to be back too!

This morning was disc 16 chest, shoulders and triceps. I felt stronger in some parts and weaker in others but hey, I got through it! Have a great day!

I lost my post!!!!! I hate it when that happens and I don't have time to re-write it. I was in the process of telling you that I went for physio on my knee yesterday as I have been having problems with it and I was told that I may have torn my ACL. So I am leaving for the doctors very soon to get a referral for an MRI. The good thing is that I don't have to pay for it the bad thing is that I will probably have to wait about 6 months to get it. I was also told that I can't do any leg work at all so no more squats or lunges for me for quite a while. After the doctors I am going out to my parents as my uncle and his wife are visiting and I haven't seen them for over a year.

Anyway I have to go hopefully, I won't lose my post next time.

Today was a cardio day so of course Rolly and I went to the beach and walked about 30 min. My foot is getting better, I can tell.

We had UFO tonight and the hostess hubby was there. He plays the guitar as well (much much better than me) and I played with until it was time to go home. Had a marvelous time! I was challenged to stay on beat, and I did my best but during that challenge, I believe I moved a little forward in playing the guitar. Hadn't had a lesson it seems forever and this jamming as Bob calls it, was what I needed to get out of my rut. Yahoo!

Pam, Great job on this mornings disc 16 chest, shoulders and triceps. Yep, you got through it and I'm sure you did your best. That's what it's all about. Good for you. You know some days are weaker than others because of many reasons.

Cheryl, Not like it at all when I lose my post either. Oh NO! So sorry to hear about your knee. Why does it take so long to get an MRI? My goodness!?! I'm sorry to hear too that you can't use your leg workouts, but it's understandable so do please take care of your knees until you can get in and either surgery or meds. Bet it was nice to visit with your family. A year is way to long. Hope you had lots of catch ups with one another.

Did Get Glutes last night. Was hoping to get good sleep but I don't think that happened. I am exhausted this morning. Ready for a nap and I have only been up a few hours.

Pam Great job on disc 16! I had one of those workouts yesterday. I started out strong and petered out by the end.

Cheryl I am so sorry about your knee. That does not sound good at all with a torn ACL. 6 months is a long time to wait. I hope that if it was something life threatening, the wait would be shorter. Hope you had a great time visiting your family.

Janie Great job on your walk and jam session. I imagine those jam sessions do push your limits and help you learn.

Julie Great job on GG. I am right there with you being exhausted this morning. I think I had a good sleep, but I am super tired. I think I am still catching up on the time zone changes.

This morning was Athletic Step and yoga abs for me. I got almost all the way through the plank series before my hands couldn't take it any longer this time. I was about halfway through the last set, so i consider that progress. Happy Hump Day!

Hi ladies, I am SUPER sore from my leg workout yesterday. It's amazing what one week of not doing it does! This morning I had MMA Boxing on the calendar so instead I did Tracy Stahle step sweatfest and the abs from LIC. I think I might have overdone it because I didn't feel very good afterward. I had a lousy sleep too because I got a call last night that my friends father passed away unexpectedly. I am feeling a lot better now, just tired. I'm glad it's Friday, Happy weekend!

Off to do some cardio on the beach and since it's Friday will do my weight lifting later tonight and will post again. Update: Actually did 30 min. of cardio by walking fast on the beach with Rolly and tonight did Body fusion. Whew!

Just a few more touch ups and I'll call it good. This drawing is called "Three Little Birds" from the song by Bob Marley. A happy tune. The notes (if not under and around curves) have come from that song. It is a 14" X 11" paper and created 1/4" boarder around the piece. Used colored pencil, pencil and ink.




Pam, Great job on disc 17 legs. Legs are so darn hard for me too. Congrats for the DOM's in your legs. YaHoo! And for doing this mornings Tracy Stahle step and abs from LIC. Yep I can imagine a dripping, sweatfest for sure. LOL When I haven't workout for awhile I always get this nauseous feeling until my gets use to it again. Usually the 2nd time around it goes away. Your fine. Oh NO! I'm so sorry to hear about your friends father. My deepest sympathy for your friend and many hugs out there in cyberspace for when you need them. Try and get some rest tonight.

I have this song in my head that just won't go away. It's called Bound To You sung by Christina Aguilera. OMG! The best song I've ever heard her sing. I got the chords so someday I can play it.

Hi ladies! I did my Get Glutes workouts on Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning. Then Saturday we visited my family for a few hours, ran some errands, and then went to dh's niece and nephew,s birthday party. I am getting ready to do another Get Glutes this morning and then plan to be lazy except doing laundry.

Janie Great job on your walks and TBS! I love your drawing! As usual you are so creative and fabulous! You are an inspiration. Keep up the awesome work!

Pam Great job on AS with yoga abs, disc 17, and Tracy! Disc 17 always gave me the worst DOMS out of all the STS workouts. So sorry to hear about your friend's father. So sad especially when it is unexpected like that.
