Strength in Numbers

Janie Nice work on your walk on the beach. I am glad to hear that your foot is getting better. Sometimes challenging yourself will help you get out of a rut.

Julie Good work on Get Glutes. I hate it when you don't get a good nights sleep it makes for a very long day.

Pam Yes it was a very long post that I lost. I am hoping to get to the end of this one without losing it. Good job on Athletic Step and yoga abs. Good for you in getting further with the plank series.

Janie Good work on Total Body Sculpting and your walk on the beach.

Pam Good work on disc 17 legs. You know you worked hard if you were super sore the next day. Good job on Tracy Stahle Step Sweatfest and abs from LIC. Sorry to hear about your friends father.

Janie Good work on your cardio on the beach and Body Fusion. I really like your picture.

Julie Good work on your Get Glutes on Thursday and Saturday.

Well this is the first time I have been on the computer since Tuesday besides my ipad. I know 6 months for a MRI is crazy but unless I want to pay $600-$700 for one I have to wait. I don't have that much money anyway. I will need some sort of operation as I have something in my knee that is preventing it from bending back all the way. I am going for physio but I will need to wait for the MRI. I have been doing cardio I am just careful about doing too many dancey moves. Wednesday I did Stretch Max 2 and 3, Thursday I was going to do Step Moves but it was so hot and I didn't get much sleep so I didn't get much further than the warmup . Friday I did STS disc 4 chest, shoulders and biceps, Saturday I did cardio but I can't remember what it was . After that I got all the housework done and then we had a neighbourhood BBQ. It was a lot of fun and there were about 18 of us. This morning was STS disc 5 back and biceps. It is so hot here that I am not going to do too much today. It is a long weekend here so I have one more day before I have to go back to work.

I hope you all had a great weekend.

Cheryl

Janie Great job on your fast beach walk and Body Fusion!! Once again, another amazing drawing. your creativity never ceases to amaze me. I love the inspiration piece! That is just beautiful Janie!! I don't know that song by Christina Aguilera, I will have to look it up!

Julie Great job on GG Thursday, Saturday and Sunday! That makes me feel a little better hearing that disc 17 always gave you the worst DOMs. I was rather surprised that I was that sore after only one week of no leg work!

Cheryl I'm glad you made it through your post without losing it this time!! I hope you weren't on the computer all week because you were busy enjoying your time off. I bet that two weeks flew by! Oh wow, do be careful with the cardio with that knee!! Great job on Stretch max 2&3 and the SM warmup :) Greta job on STS disc 4 and your mystery cardio workout! :D That happens to me all the time! Oh the neighborhood BBQ sounds like a lot of fun, glad you enjoyed it! Great job on disc 15 too!

Let' see, Saturday morning was disc 18 back and biceps. After that was running around doing errands all day. We didn't get to ski because it rained pretty much all day. I have been sending Eric a care package every week while he has been doing his cross county bike ride and I just sent the LAST ONE! He arrives in Santa Cruz a week from today and will be finished. It seems like it went by so fast and he has been having the time of his life. Sunday was my rest day and I made homemade ricotta and bolognese sauce. It's for tonight's dinner, I'm making ricotta gnocchi. I hope it's good! After that yesterday I took the kids back to school shopping. I thought it would be a quick trip to the mall, but I didn't get home until after 5. I was tired!!! This morning was 30/30 and weights and plates abs. I considered subbing in an easier ab workout, but I bit the bullet and did it  Happy Monday, I hope everyone has a great day!

Pam

Pam The two weeks did fly by. I am dreading going to work tomorrow. Too funny about my mystery cardio workout. I remember what I did when I went to bed that night. It was AOLIH. Good job on disc 18 back and biceps. I bet that was quite the experience for Eric riding all the way across the country. Good job on 30/30 and weights and plates abs. That is a tough ab workout.

It has been so hot here. I was going to do cardio this morning but the heat is getting to me. I couldn't finish my breakfast as I thought I was going to bring is all up (what a wonderful image ) I could barely get done what I needed to today`too. I am really dreading going to work tomorrow it is so hard to sleep the bedroom doesn't get below 90 degrees by the time I need to try to go to sleep. It doesn't look like it is going to cool down any time soon either. Oh well I guess I shouldn't complain the rain and cold weather will be here soon enough.

Cheryl

Cheryl Boo, waht a bummer that you are having to go back to work already. :( Hehehe - Great job on AOLIH. Oh yes, Eric has really ben building some great memories on this trip. They are having so much fun and the people who host them have been feeding them so well! It's funny because one of the things he gets most excited about are the days that they get 2 lunches! :D Sorry it is so hot there! I can't imagine trying to sleep in 90 degrees either. It reminds me of when we were kids and we would sleep with a fan on us and put our sheets up over the fan to make a little tent. Now I am thankful for A/C!

This morning for me was disc 19 chest, shoulders and triceps. I may try to do cardio later today too. We are leaving for Pennsylvania Thursday morning so trying to figure out how to get all of this weeks weight workouts in before we go. I'm going to do legs tomorrow and hopefully will have time to do my back and biceps before we leave Thursday morning. It all depends on how anxious DH is to get on the road......Have a great day!

Pam

Pam My two weeks just flew by. Work was really busy for me too but at least the day went by fast. Two funny that Eric gets excited about getting two lunches. I guess they really burn up the calories. Right now I wish we had A/C too instead of fans. At least the heat doesn't last a long time here. Good job on disc 19 chest, shoulders and triceps. You have a lot to fit in before you go to Pennsylvania. Is it a weekend getaway for the two of you?

Today I did part of disc 6 Legs. I decided just to do the leg conditioning drills that are at the end of it and then I did about 20 minutes of yoga. I am feeling a bit stiff, I haven't been as dedicated to yoga as I was in the past. I need to get back to it.

Have a great day everyone.

Cheryl

Sorry I've been MIA. Some of my family came to visit from East of the mountains. I'm having a Ball. Will talk tomorrow.

Hope everyone is well,

Janie

I did Get Glutes last night. I was having a strong day and set some new personal records. I have finally hit the 100 pound bench press for 6 reps last night! So excited. That has been my goal for a while now so I guess it is time to make a new goal.

Cheryl Vacations go by way to fast don’t they. It is so hard getting back into the groove of going to work. I hope you had time to relax over your vacation. Great job on all your workouts. That’s too funny about forgetting which workout you did. I hope it cools off for you soon. That hot can be unbearable. Great job on leg conditioning drills and yoga!

Pam Great job on disc 18! I love that you are sending care packages to Eric on his trip. I bet he loves getting them too. Great job on 30/30 and w&p abs! Great job on disc 19! Hope you have a great trip to Pennsylvania.

Janie Enjoy your time with your family!

Have a great day!

Cheryl It's amazing how much faster 2 weeks go when you aren't working vs when you are, isn't it?! Glad your first day back went by quickly at least and that you get a short week to ease back in! With all of the riding we figure they are burning a lot of calories, but Eric said he gained 4 pounds in the first 2 weeks. A lot of that could be muscle too from all of the riding. He is stick thin though, so a little weight is a good thing for him! We are going to Pennsylvania to visit DHs family. It should be a fun weekend though. I am doing a color run on Saturday morning with my SILs and nieces and Saturday night we are going to see Steely Dan on the beach on the shor of Lake Erie. The weather looks like it is supposed to be perfect so we are looking forward to everything except the drive! :D Great job on your leg drills and yoga! I need more yoga too, but I have been saying that forever!

Janie No problem being MIA, it happens to all of us sometimes. So glad you are having so much fun with your family! Catch up when you can.

Julie Great job on GG and your new PR!!!! WOW, that is incredible, you should be very proud! The care packages have been fun, but I was starting to run out of ideas for things I could make that would still be fresh and would ship well! He told me that I was becoming somewhat of a legendary person with the group because of the care packages :D

So last night I did my MMA Fusion and the cardio only premix of Circuit blast. That was on the calendar for this morning and I wanted to try and get it in in addition to the rest of this weeks weight workouts before we leave. Of course I thought of Julie when I was doing the turtle spins! This morning I did disc 20 legs. Hopefully the DOMs won't be as bad this week as last week. Meso 1 went by so quickly and now meso 2 is taking forever with a week off and then repeating a week. I'm sure Meso 3 will fly if I am able to stay on schedule. Have a great day1

Pam

Now my daughter is visiting with us. So nice to visit my loved ones! I walked on the beach with Rolly and Monique ran. Great fun. Did this twice today for about 30 min. and then another for an hour. Haven't done anything else while family was here.

Learning to play Harvest Moon by Neil Young. OMG! My sister introduced it to me. OMG! I want this song to be my signature mark. So simple and sweet. At least it sounds like it. Tried to play it and it will take time, but it's so beautiful I simply have to keep trying.

Julie, Great job on Get Glutes. Congratulations for setting new personal records. I'm so impressed and proud of you! YEA! for hitting your goal of 100 # bench press. WOW!

Pam, Great job on MMA Fusion and cardio only prem. of Circuit blast. And for this mornings disc 20 legs. How was the DOM's? You are doing so well. Good for you.

Take care everyone,

Janie

My daughter Monique, Joe, Rolly and Taco walked the beach today about an hour. Then we went to Westport and had a fish and chips, clam strips and oysters. For me not so much oysters. Daughter left, wished she could have stayed longer. But I got her for a night anyway.

Janie

Walked the beach for an hour today with Rolly. Starting Monday will continue with my weight workouts. Been awhile.

Janie

Ugh! I ended up getting a bad cold starting Wednesday night lasting through the weekend. I was so exhausted Thursday from not being able to sleep the night before that I had to skip my last Get Glutes workout from Month 10. I was feeling somewhat better Saturday so I started month 11 but I went very light on the weights. After that I did some cleaning and running errands. Sunday I did another Get Glutes but again very light weights. Then it was lazy day the rest of the day. I am still a little congested this morning but hopefully at the end of the cold by now.

Pam Great job on those turtle spins!!! Don’t you just feel like a kid again doing those? I saw some Facebook photos of you I a color run. Sounds messy and fun!

Janie So sorry you were hanging out here by yourself. I really need to get better about checking in more often. Great job on your beach walks and your bike ride. I love cranberries. I could literally eat those all day which is bad because they usually have so much added sugar.

Have a great day!

janie Oh, so nice that your daughter came for a visit too. I'm glad you have been having so much fun with your family! Great job on your long walks with Rolly, wow! I love the song Harvest Moon! Best of luck to you in conquering it! Surprisingly my let DOMs weren't too bad after disc 20. They were just right :) Oh my, your fish feast sounds fantastic! Sorry your daughter couldn't stay longer, but it sounds like you made the most of the time that you had. Great job on all of your long bach walks! Awww, sorry you were here alone!!!

Julie Oh, yuck, sorry to hear about your cold. i think you did the right thing resting and then going light on the weights. Great job on your GG workouts, I hope the cold goes away quickly! Yes, the color run was very messy and very fun!

Thursday morning I got up and did disc 21 back and biceps and then we hit the road for the drive to PA. My SIL had a beautiful dinner ready for us when we got there. On Friday the guys went golfing and we hung out by the pool. Then the rest of my DHs family came over for dinner on Friday night. His niece has a 6 month old baby, so it was great to finally meet her! On Saturday morning the ladies did the color run. It was so much fun. It was a very easy and slow 5k. I was a little worried since I am not a runner, but it was no problem at all. Then my BIL took us for a boat ride and on Saturday night was the Steely Dan concert on the beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and it was a great show. Sunday morning I found out that of the 10,000 runners in the color run, I was on the front page of their local newspaper! It was really funny because there is a big family joke about my niece being in the paper all of the time. She even came to Raleigh one year and we went black friday shopping and her picture was in our paper. So we were joking on Saturday about how Claire would probably end up in the paper, and it was me! :D Sunday was the long drive home and we were exhausted. I dragged myself up this morning for Hiit Pyramid and NE abs. I was very tempted to sub 30/30 instead, but I sucked it up and did Hiit P. I was really sucking wind, but I survived. Happy Monday ladies!

Pam

Good morning ladies. This morning for me was disc 22, chest, shoulders and triceps. The pushups made another showing this morning, but nothing like the meso 1 workouts thankfully! I was definitely feeling the burn in my shoulders this morning. Yesterday Eric finished his cross country bike ride - over 4200 miles! What an accomplishment. Of course we have no idea what he is going to do now, but I guess he will figure it out. Have a great day!

Pam

Happy Hump Day! This morning for me was supposed to be MMA Boxing. I subbed in Rockout Knockout and Core Max1 instead. I hope everyone is having a great day.

Pam

Something is terribly wrong with this site, all I can do is type in what I have did. Read everyone's posts and very proud of you. You go!

Stormy, thundery, rainy, floody weather. Interrupted internet fun. Used my cardio climber for cardio and did MM Yesterday. Today chilling out this rain. I have a guitar lesson tomorrow and want to impress my teacher on my progress. But, my practice today sucked. Will let you know how it goes.

Take care everyone, sorry I couldn't respond to you. Hopefully they will have fixed it soon.

Until then,

Janie

Hello! Tuesday I did Get Glutes and will do another round tonight. I have still been keeping up with adding on a tabata at the end of my Get Glutes workouts. I think that is making me happier!

Pam Great job on disc 21! That is too funny about the newspaper. Sounds like you had a fantastic time in PA. Great job on DWP & NE abs! Great job on disc 22 and those pushups. That is a lot of mileage. I bet he feels very accomplished for finishing that. Great job on your sub of RK and CM1!

Janie I think Cathe posted something on Facebook about the site having problems. Great job on cardio climber and MM! I bet you will impress your teacher! You are dedicated and that helps.

Have a great day!

Janie Yes, there were a lot of problems with the site yesterday. It looks like they might all be fixed now. Sorry for the stormy floody weather, there seems to be a lot of that around right now. Great job on your cardio climber and MM! I am sure you will impress your teacher, you are such a dedicated student!

Julie Great job on GG and your tabata addons! So glad that is making you happier, I think I would be very grouchy indeed without cardio for so long! I do think Eric feels pretty accomplished, but now he is also a little nervous because he has no plan for what comes next! I guess he'll be having to figure that out pretty quickly!

This morning for me was disc 23 legs. I really like meso 2, but I must say that I'm ready for it to be over. Six weeks is enough! Just one more disc, hooray! I just found out that Eunice is moving to North Carolina, less than an hour away from me. We are talking about making plans to get together in person once she is settled! I am very hopeful that we are able to work that out :) I hope you all have a great day!

Pam

Happy Friday ladies! I hope you have had a great week! I have had a scratchy throat for 3 days, but it hasn't been anything more than that, so I'm hoping that it just goes away! This morning was the new and improved PCCC. Every time I do this workout I wonder why it has such a huge dread factor. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for those squat drop and rolls. Anyway, I'm already thinking about what I'll do for active recovery next week. Do you think that I can do TTM or Crossfire? They don't have heavy weights, but they both have a little bit of weight work. Hmmmm, anyway, have a great day!

Pam
