Push It

No workout today. Didn't get home til midnite from the game. Boys lost by 3. It was sad seeing them miss do many good shots that they normally make. They did not play well and that's even more frustrating knowing they only lost by 3 under those circumstances. The game was held at the gym of a college campus so it was nice for my boys to have that experience. They've been to the professional sports but not to an event on a college campus. It was an early dismissal from school do they came home and took a nap so they would be ready. Still can't believe the state association thought it was okay to have a 9:00 tip off for a high school game. There were a ton of families who made the one hour trip to the game to cheer on the team. It was fun even though we lost.

Have a good Friday.

Good afternoon ladies! It's been really crazy here due to planning for a chili cook off at work. It went off with out a hitch and I think everyone really enjoyed. I even made sopapillas for everyone and they were a huge hit! Not really the healthiest but anyway.

Last night Leaner Legs...that's a good one. It kinda reminded me of a high rep version of the Squat Rack discs in STS. We only did an extremely short workout Wednesday night. We were doing step and my neighbor needed a break. We starting talking and before I knew it, it was 1 am. I think she needed to vent about some stuff but we need to be better about not letting that happen. I think I might start taking a timer over to prevent that.

TMJ
That's wonderful news that your heart looks to be ok! Congestion could very well be your problem. I hope that it's not asthma. My son has asthma and it's really scary when he has an attack -- I wouldn't wish it on anyone!

You have got to try 4DS! It's too awesome to leave sitting on a shelf. I will warn you though that the step workouts are tricky at first. However, once you learn them, they are so much fun.

HeartyMax
I'm sorry that the boys lost their game. Sometimes (no matter how good the team is), they just have off nights. It's really disappointing though when it happens during games that are super important. 9pm is crazy late for a game that's on a school night. I don't know what they were thinking.

Enjoy your pampering! Are you thinking about changing your hair style?

Jennifer
I received a bonus at work (we all do once a year if profits are ok...it's not profit sharing but they call it an "incentive bonus") and I was thinking about getting a spin bike. How do you like yours and what brand is it? I know I have done the Ride at the gym on a regular upright bike but it's near impossible to do the standing work on those.

Natasha
Ughh...your stories about Canada and buying things really frustrate me too! I so wish you could get Body Revolution and other things at a good price.

Target is nice -- but not so great for fitness stuff. Their selection IMO is a lot smaller than Walmart's. I have noticed though that Walmart is cutting back big time on their exercise section. It's half the size it was a year ago and seems to shrink every time I go there. :(

Toni
Intensity is Cathe's hardest step routine IMO. To be honest, it's so hard that the HiiT following it actually feel easy. I didn't hate the workout but I rarely reach for it for some reason. I should do it more often for the Low Impact HiiT alone.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Happy happy Friday...so glad it's the weekend!! Yesterday was kicking/punching combos only from KickMax. Thursdays is sort of my 'active rest' workout day. I try not to do anything to leg or UB heavy. Today was the dreaded HC V4 with the stab ball  Man on man that workout is tiring!! And I'm not even sure why!! I couldn't even come close to doing all the reps and it's not like I have lactic acid build up during the moves, I just simply can't hold them anymore. It's really strange. All the stabilizing really adds so much to the moves. And being on more a decline adds a little more for the shoulders, which also helps add to the wo. I'll do that one for 4 weeks in a row to see if I can make any improvements. Oh, also did 100 RC Hip Thrusts...all of 'em #25.

TMJ
Legs and Glutes is from the BodyBlast series I believe. It's on the same disc as KPC.

Stacie
Forgot to tell you that ,yes, I am going hiking. I'm going to Oregon in June. Can't wait!! The other day I was looking to see what of Cathe's DVDs I don't have. I'm thinking I will need High Reps. Well....I probably don't NEED anymore, but I'm gonna get it anyway :)

Tasha
Glad Bella enjoyed Chuck E Cheese :) I have never done PLB. Maybe I should do that one next week in place of Legs and Glutes. I think my back can tolerate the barbell now and I kind of miss barbell squats. They seem to shape my quads really well.

Jennifer
Got your PM :) Thanks for the info. That certainly makes sense. I'm still deciding if I'm going to do PUB or 4DS UB premix next week. I figure I can't go wrong either way

HeartyMax
Sorry the boys lost, but I'm glad you had a good time. A 9pm tip off does seem late.

Happy Friday night!
Anyone have plans for St. Patty's day? We usually go to the downtown parade which is always the Saturday before St. Pats but this year - if it doesn't start sleeting - we're going to the official Irish parade on the other side of town which is always on St. Patrick's Day (Sunday).

Let's see if I can remember what I did this morning... oh yeah, straight up AOLIC and then L1 BB.
Instead of working late I went to the Ripped class again. I really like the Friday class - it's no where near as crowded and it turns out I know several of the people in the class so it's fun. The instructor is on a different version of the class so it's a nice change.

Tomorrow I definitely plan to do one or two of the Total Body Stretching routines:D

I converted my office desk to a Standing workstation using several copy paper boxes and some extra lids; I just get so tired of sitting ALL day. I'm so busy that I barely take time to get up at all so. I actually started to feel my abs around the 4th hour! It makes sense but I just never thought about how curled over the desk I normally am. After 5 hours, though, it was time to take a seat and have my lunch; I stayed seated the rest of the day.

Tash,
I'm glad you had such a nice day with Bella, and you even have DOMS to boot! I actually haven't ever done PLB. Geesh - so many workouts, so hard to chose which one to do! I still want to try your mix and a greatest hits mix. My problem right now is that I somehow managed to develop shin splints; I think I've done too much lower body work I guess.

The cereal sounds amazing! And thanks for the tip about the cinnamon.

Stacie,
What a nice day at work - chili cook-off and sopapillas; I bet you were the fav of the day:)

I'm not sure I've ever done Leaner Legs but it sounds like a lot of squats are involved! Sorry you stayed up so late and didn't get to work out, I think your timer idea is a good one.

Congrats on the hard-earned bonus! As for my spin bike it's nice, it's as solid as a gym spin bike. It's a Stamina 9300 (yellow/black) bike; I ordered it on amazon when it was on sale. If you have a local store in the area you might physically try a few to see what feels good. I had to buy different pedals for it because it didn't have the clips for spin shoes. If you do get a bike I recommend getting the spinning shoes even if you don't spin regularly; they really do make a difference! I have the Bontrager Solstice shoes ($100) and I like them but with so many brands and different types of feet it's just a personal choice.

Heartymax,
Glad you all had a good time at the game but I am sorry that they didn't play their best and lost only by 3; that is frustrating. I agree, 9pm seems pretty late to me!

Toni,
I can see how HC works the abs like crazy... in the Ripped class there's a segment where we do some bear crawls and pushups so we're on the ground for a while and it totally works my abs.

Congrats on your 100Reps with 25#s! I think they are the #1 glute exercise:eek:

TooMuchJoy
I hope you are feeling better still, and I've got my fingers crossed that your chest x-ray will turn out fine:)

Have a great day and a super weekend!

Hello everyone :)

Yesterday's w/o was a 3 mile walk + GS Chest & Tri's (30min premix) + 15min of a Chris Freytag yoga I found on youtube. I really like her! I'm contemplating getting her w/o's on Collage -- but then there's the duty $$ and tax .

OMG I have CSOTT DOMS (Can't Sit On The Toilet :p). PLB really got into my glute HARD!

Heartymax
9:00pm start for a HS sporting event is too late! Poor guys must have been tired. I'm sorry they lost :(.

Toni
Colleen dreads that HC w/the stab ball. It sounds incredibly tough!
Yes, I agree about squats. They are the KING (or queen ;)) of all LB exercises!

Stacie
Glad the chili and sopapillas were a hit! I have never tried one . But now I have too :p.
I'm going to have to check out Leaner Legs . The whole CTX series looks like something I would love.

Jennifer
Have fun at the St.Patty's Day Parade! There is one in Toronto, but Mark and I have never been a fan of parades, so we never go. One time we happen to be downtown while the Gay Pride Parade was going on. I think we just missed the floats go by, but we did see some "colorful" people walking up/down the streets :D.
I'm sorry to hear about the shin splints :(. I feel soooo bad :(. I hope it recovers quickly. Is there anything in particular you can do for it?
WTG on converting your office desk to a standing workstation! You are def going to see and feel a difference (in a good way, of course) not sitting the majority of the day.

Have a great w/e ladies!

I did volume 1 of HC this morning. I am volunteering for a school competition all day today so I didn't have time to squeeze anything else in since I didn't get up at my normal weekday time. I like volume 2 better than volume 1. My bar is cushioned for my barbell so I decided to use it as a substitute for the body bar. It was perfect for bar being on the step and push ups. I used a hand weight for the moves when the bar needed to be on the foot. Looks like I will be purchasing additional HC's.

Good morning ladies!

This weekend is blissfully EMPTY. Thank goodness! I'm getting a massage this afternoon as a combo reward for getting a great bonus/raise and as a stress reliever. Can't wait for it!

I'm gearing up to do Crossfire this morning. Yesterday was MMA Boxing (nice DOMS in my back and tris) and Thursday was Intensity. I got through much more of Intensity this time as opposed to last time which made me happy. It is hard but anything that was super high intensity I just modified.

I think I may have made it through my workout plan this week although swapping the order of Intensity and Crossfire. Not sure what tomorrow holds (fun easy step?) but Monday will be 4DS Kickbox. How are you supposed to use 4DS....cardio/weights per day for 4 days? I don't know that I could handle the High Intensity Step but probably could get through most everything else.

I also realize that somebody asked me about what I was reading (Jennifer?) last week and I meant to respond and totally forgot! I loooove talking about books and would love to share some recent favorites. One of the best things I've read recently is Me Before You by JoJo Moyes. One of my favorites last year was Where'd You Go Bernadette by Maria Semple. I could go on all day....reading is my absolute passion and I read 100+ a year.

Heartymax: Great job on HC! So sorry about the basketball loss...it's so crushing when they lose.

Natasha: I know you love DOMS but do you love CSOTT DOMS :p? Such a bummer how much more you have to spend for goodies over there in Canada. I'm assuming that you don't live close enough to the border to pop over from time to time?

Jennifer: Have fun at the parade...hopefully the weather holds out. When I had a gym membership, I always liked going to Friday classes because they were fairly empty.

Stacie: How fun! A chili cookoff! Great job with Leaner Legs. I don't have any of the super old videos (that's from CrossTrain right?) but I always get a kick out of seeing a younger Cathe and crew.

Toni: I love the idea of active rest and just doing a portion of a video. Is your back still holding out ok?

Sorry for the epic post. I guess you can tell that I"m not rushing to get anywhere but in front of Crossfire. Wish me luck!!

Have a great weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! They say everyone is Irish on St. Patty's day:) Tonight I am going to try making a variation of the Greek Yogurt Broccoli Soup that was featured in Cathe's Newsletter. I've been wanting to make it anyway but since it'll be green I figured it's the perfect time to make it.

Speaking of, we didn't make it to the parade this morning. It was snowing and actually I wasn't up for it anyway... I'm feeling a little better now but last night and this morning I didn't feel very well (stomach ache and headache). The headache part is gone so at least there's that:)

Yesterday I took a rest day and this morning I did all 3 of the Total Body Stretch segments (13 minutes each). I did Ball #1 and Ball #2, and then decided to do the Basic one. They all felt great but I think I especially liked the Basic one because it has the Pigeon pose which has got to be one of the best stretches ever:D

Stacie,
Congratulations on your new bike! It looks fantastic, and what an awesome price! I'm so excited for you:eek: Hope you enjoyed the parade and had a great time at the hockey game! Sounds like a super-fun day!

TmJ,
Definitely happy to hear you get a weekend off:)

Nice job with Intensity! That one has always been one of my go-to workouts; I just love it. The step portion is quick and it just goes by fast yet it's long enough that I really feel great when it's over.

Good luck with CrossFire! I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of it. That is the one workout that has ever made me feel like I was going to die - but only the first time or two.

I'm going to look into the books you mentioned - thanks! I'm sure I've heard of the Bernadette book before because I remember seeing the name somewhere (in a magazine I think) and wondering how a girl I used to know almost 30 years ago (Bernadette) is doing. I can't say I read a whole bunch but I think part of it is because I get stuck on what to try next; my library is very lacking and it's kind of sad, really. Reading is great, though - takes the brain on a vacation!

Heartymax,
A cushioned barbell?! I didn't know there was such a thing but that is exactly perfect:D So you and Toni both like Vol#2 better than Vol#1 - I think I'll add that one to my wish list since Vol#1 is the only one I have.
Enjoy your volunteering at the school!

I wanted to ask, are you watching the Bible series on the History channel? We've watched a couple episodes and I really enjoy them. By the way, my pastor for the church that we don't go to is friends with Joel Osteen, and Joel is going to do the dedication for our new church building! I have my tickets already; they are free but you can imagine that seating is limited so we all had to RSVP.

Tash,
I wrote down Chris Freytag's Yoga because I know you've mentioned her before. I'm sure you've looked into downloads but aren't finding any? That just really blows that you get stuck with all those duty fees:mad: It's just not right!

How is your DOMS doing?! I've got to try PLB! My shin splints are better - rest and stretching - so I should be good to go in another day or so:)

I know a few gay people and they aren't flamboyant about it, but I have seen some who are so I can just imagine the colors you're seen;) Province Town in Massachusetts is a very colorful town - it's great, too; lots of shops and bars and restaurants and things to do in a nice, gay community right next to the beach. It's fun to go there; everyone seems outgoing and friendly!

Toni,
Hope you had a great weekend:)

Talk to you all later!

Today was the UB premix from from 4DS. That was a really good one! Very complete workout for the UB.

Stacie
Great deal on the spin bike!! I'm sure you will love it :)

Jennifer
I need to do more stretching. I always neglect that part. Glad to see you aren't.

TMJ
Back is ok, but I think I'm going to try to see a chiropractor this week. Still not 100% and it seems like it should be better by now.

Went to a Sunday brunch for my cousin's(on DH side of the family) 50th birthday. It was at Maggiano's---so good food, games and laughter. I good not choose desserts so I had a little bit of all 3--apple crostada (soooo good), cheese cake and the host sent us home with birthday cake and I ate it on the ride home . It was a great party and I got to meet some of her friends and see some that I hadn't seen in years.

After working the school competition on Saturday, I took DS14 to volunteer orientation at the Humane Society. This is what he really wanted to do so he reminded me that he had 2 hour orientation. He goes for his first volunteer hours this Friday. We will see how it goes.

Jennifer---I've had this barbell for a long time. I believe it is the FIRM barbell that I got many years ago. The bar has a cushion around it so when I had to rest it on my shoulder/neck area it doesn't feel so bad.

Toni---Does HC volume 4 use the stability ball for pikes. I definitely can't do that move. Do you think I should go with HC 3 or Bootcamp?

Good morning ladies!

Hope you all had wonderful weekends. I had the right combination of relaxing and productive. I completed several "projects" around the house that I've been trying to get to for the past few months so that was nice to have accomplished. The house is still a disaster but I should be able to chip away over the next few weeks.

I did Crossfire Less Impact premix on Saturday. I really liked it much better than I expected. :p I think I completely psych myself out with some of the harder videos. It was hard but I was able to do most of it without dying. Sunday was a rest day because it was project day. Good choice really. Plus I slept in to nearly 10am!

This morning is 4DS Kickbox for the first time. I need to figure out the rest of the week as well.

Stacie: I am soooo jealous of your spin bike. I always loved spinning when I was at a gym and I never considered that it was something you could do at home with a video until I started hanging out here. Once we move and have more space, it is definitely on my list. I have a recumbant bike but it's not the same!

Jennifer: Sorry to hear about you not feeling well. Great job with the stretching. Hope you enjoyed your soup.

Toni: Yay for UB!!

Have a great day everyone!
TmJ

I forgot to tell you my workout for today---Super Cuts. I guess I was posted so fast til I forgot to talk about my workout for today. Those darn fast paced sits up and push ups are just waaay to much for me. I can get it 4 sets. Maybe I should pause the video and do them at my own pace.

Stacie----I forgot to say that I like your bike. What a great bargain you got. Hope it arrives soon.

TMJ---Cross Fire is definitely intimidating. Trying a premix first was a good idea. You will enjoy the workout.

Hope everyone had a very green St.Patty's Day :D

Yesterday I attended my cousin's daughter's Baptism. It was such a long day! 1:30pm was the church ceremony, followed by a celebration dinner at a restaurant. So much delicious food! I definitely indulged some (lots ). Hopefully today I can fit in some cardio to burn off all the cals I ate. Oh, and yesterday I squeezed in Hiit Pyramid before we headed to church. Good thing I did too ;).

BBL for personals!

Good afternoon everyone! It was a whirlwind of a weekend! I had some pretty serious DOMS Saturday afternoon and Sunday from GS Chest & Tris on Friday. It's mostly gone today which is nice.

The parade and the hockey game were a lot of fun. I didn't realize that the parade was soooo long. Apparently it's four hours long! We weren't able to stay through the whole thing because we had to head out to the hockey game. We did a ton of walking though since we parked the car in a lot and just left it there all day.

After the game, we tried to pick up the bike and it was a disaster. There was one on the sales floor and I tried it out since I thought it was mine. I felt like the wheel was slightly off center and rubbing on the side. We walked down to customer pickup and they actually had a different bike set aside for me. This one made a weird clanking noise while pedaling. I pointed it out to the man who brought it out of the back room. He turned the pedals to look at it and some how got his finger caught on it. He started bleeding pretty badly and had to run off to get some bandages! I felt really bad for him. While we were waiting for someone to come back, I noticed my earring had fallen out and was stuck in my hair so I decided to take them both out. I have no idea what happened but when I took the other earring off, my ear started bleeding like crazy. The poor woman came out to help us and there was blood from the guy and from me all over the place. It was nuts! Luckily we were able to get both of us fixed up but the bike had to stay there. One of their repair men is supposed to look at it today to see if they can merge the two bikes together to get a working one. I think I will definitely be purchasing the extended warranty on this one!

TMJ
Leaner Legs is on CTX. I actually rarely use it...I'm not that fond of the cardio portions of it. I think though that I should try all of the weight workouts on it now after Leaner Legs.

I'm huge reader too! I will say that I don't have the time to read as much as I used to.

I looked at an upright bike but I thought that the spin bike would give me a better workout. I hope it works out! HeartyMax has an elliptical that I am totally jealous of.

Hooray for breaking out 4DS for the first time! :D

HeartyMax
I have to agree with Jennifer that a cushioned barbell sounds pretty awesome. Is it hard to hold though?

Jennifer
I'm sorry to hear that you have shin splits! Are you wrapping your leg at all when you workout?

Natasha
The Walking Dead was totally crazy last night! Did you watch it? I think it was one of the more intense episodes I've seen.

I caught the first episode of The Vikings! I like it! I also saw part of The Bible series which reeled me into.

Toni
Ooooohhh...that's UB body premix from 4DS is a tough one!

Glad to hear you decided to go on the hiking trip! I'm very jealous -- I love to hike!

Have a great day everyone!

Stacie
OMG!! The story w/your bike had me laughing and feeling bad at the same time. What a bummer about the bike though :(. I hope you get one that is in working order eventually. I bet you are so peeved right now .
No I did not see the Walking Dead yet! Today!

Jennifer
Sorry to hear you were not feeling well this w/e :(. Come to think of it, Saturday I woke up with a really bad migraine. It got so bad that I eventually got sick. Hopefully your stomach is feeling better.
BTW, I hope you did not think I was talking bad about gay people. I just love em'! Mark and I used to be addicted to this one series called Queer As Folk. Just be warned though, it is VERY explicit. Nothing is held back. Anyway, the series was filmed in Toronto.

TMJ
I used to read tons before I had Bella -- there was just so much more time back then ;). I still love going to the bookstore and picking up some good reads, even though they tend to sit on my shelf these days :(. I am a big Horror junky :D. Have you read Dean Koontz, Bentley Little, John Sandford?
Oh and thanks for the recommend on the books! I will check them out.
WTG on doing the CF Low Impact premix! I knew you could do it ;)

Toni
I knew you'd like the 4DS UB premix ;).

Heartymax
I looks like we both had parties with good fun and fun this weekend ;).

No workout today. I did not sleep well. We forgot to close the dog's cage door and she was roaming around in the night. She woke me up a couple of times, but it wasn't until about 3:30am that I realized it was her  She ate an entire container of chocolate covered cashews...LOL!!

I did get up, get dressed, and attempt a workout(Step Moves). But about 15 minutes in I was just over it, so I gave up. A good nights sleep should help.

Tasha
Yes, I did love the UB premix on 4DS split. I have some DOMS in my back, which is nice because I don't usually have them :)

Stacie
The spin bike story was a mess  I hope they are able to fix the bike and get it to you soon. You have me researching spin bikes again. I really would like to sell the elliptical we have and help purchase the bike, but my husband SWEARS he's gonna use it. Never mind the fact that he hasn't been on it but a couple times since we've had it  Either way I need to wait until the end of the year to make sure I've hit my savings goal. In addition, we are going to need a new computer for the house and I fear that will eat into my spin bike fund. Like I always say...the money runs out!!

HeartyMax
Yes, among other evil moves, the full body pike on the ball is in HC V4. I can do about three of them. That's all I got. But to tell the truth, I can't do half the reps of things that she does on that video. But what I am able to do is working my core. After my Friday workout I was sore when I coughed :) I don't have bootcamp. I watched the clip on You Tube and it looks like a lot of moving plank moves and some plyo for the legs. I probably won't get it because the moving planks have a tendency to hurt my wrist. But it seems like it would be as hard as V4, just in a different way. I've heard people say that bootcamp was the hardest workout that they've ever done.

TMJ
Crossfire has a tiny bit of dread for me. It's a tough workout!! But I tell you the increase you get in cardio from that workout is amazing. That workout and TTM really increased my cardio like nothing else.

Hi all,

After a couple rest days the shin splints are almost gone. I did Afterburn this morning and felt fine but did notice a bit of tenderness so I will lay off the lower body work for another day. That's fine - I will do Upper Body tomorrow. 4DS Upper Body has come up quite a bit but since I have the DVDs instead of Downloads I'm not sure I can do that one; I'll have to look and see if one of the discs have it. I haven't done Trisets in a long time so maybe I'll do that one.

Stacie,
Four hours is an extremely long parade:eek:
Oh my gosh! What a crazy day! That is disappointing about the bike; I sure hope they are able to get it going right and fast. For sure, the extended warranty sounds like a great idea!
I've not wrapped my leg during a workout; I haven't heard of doing that.

Tash,
What a nice celebration and I'm glad you indulged; we all need to sometimes, right:D
I was sorry to hear about your migraine; that is just miserable:(
Oh no worries - not at all! I didn't think you were bashing anyone. That was me just getting carried away on some thoughts:D I swear, Toronto sounds like an amazing place to live. TV shows, Film Festivals, your parks... sigh:)

TmJ,
So glad to hear that CrossFire went so well! And congrats on sleeping until 10am:D

Toni,
Oh my gosh, the poor dog; I bet he won't be feeling very well. Sorry you didn't sleep well, that is annoying when that happens. Good for you for even attempting to workout!

Heartymax,
Nice job with Supercuts! Wow, you're thinking of pausing the video to do all those situps - you are determined!
Glad to hear you had a nice time with your family and indulged in some treats:)
I hope your son enjoyed the Humane Society orientation and that his first day goes well:cool:

Have a nice evening:)

Today was Cross Fire, the no Tabata premix with Core.

Jennifer-- my shins bother me when I'm doing Meso 3. My legs look good when doing STS but my shins don't like it as much.

Good morning everyone! Last night was the cardio portion of Hard Strikes + 4DS Biceps and Triceps + XT Core #1.

I called Sears yesterday (since they failed to call me back ) and the bike was ready!!! My neighbor drove us over there to pick it up and it seemed to be all fixed up! I haven't tried it out yet but it really is nice looking. She was surprised that it was so nice given the price. I'll have to post some pictures of it.

Natasha
I thought it was kinda funny about the whole bike pickup thing too! I felt really bad for the lady at first because she was really freaking out because she thought the blood I had on me was from the other guy. At least the last pickup went off without a hitch!

Family events are always filled with delicious food! My sister's house kills me -- nearly everything they make is so tasty but soooo calorie laden. It always surprises me how everyone is fairly thin considering their diet.

Toni
I totally hear you about the money going sooooo quickly! By the time I paid some bills, bought the bike, and order some protein powder on sale at GNC, my entire bonus was gone! :(

Btw, do you have a MicroCenter by you? I have gotten so pretty good deals on computers there. My laptop is an i3 and I only paid a little over $200 for it.

Funny story about the dog but I hope she didn't get too sick! I swear my dog is part goat. I don't know if I mentioned this but my sweet neighbor made us some cupcakes for Valentine's Day and the damn dog ate almost all of them! He even ate the cupcake liners AND the saran wrap. For days, I was picking up saran wrap every time he went to the bathroom.

Jennifer
I asked about wrapping your leg for the shin splints because my coach used to do that for me in track. It really helped a lot when we were running. He would take the time to wrap my leg from just above the ankle to just under the knee.

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better from both the spin splints and the headache/stomach ache you had over the weekend. :)

HeartyMax
I can only keep up with the Cathe's pace for 3 or 4 of the sets of the push up / sit up combo as well. She just goes soooo fast. We usually pause the DVD and do the full 8 sets.

Have a great day everyone!
