Push It

Happy End Of The World ladies! Today is the day right? The 21st?

Yesterday's w/o was HR (lower body premix) + Low Max 20min. Love, Love, Love Low Max! I wish Cathe would make another step workout similar. Any step workout would get my pre-order in a heartbeat.

Today's w/o was a back & chest mix I made in the blender w/HR & STS TB. At the end I added TTM Solid Step + Step Tabata. The whole workout came in at around 70min. I had the time and the energy, so why not?

I've been reading a lot of articles from bodybuilding.com lately. Very informative and interesting -- even if of course you have no plans to be a bodybuilder :p. I've made several high protein recipes and they turned out very tasty.

Yesterday I went to Collage Video to look at some Xtrain clips. I made the mistake of going on their forum (I'm not a member, I just went to check it out). I was appalled at how much Cathe bashing goes on there! Some lady even went so far to call Cathe "manly, bulky, and thick around the middle":mad:. Then, stupid me, I went to the VF forum (not a member there either) and guess what? More Cathe bashing! A lot of people cancelled their Xtrain pre-order when they saw the clips. For some reason, this bothered me. The people were just being plain rude -- it's as if they seek a shock factor or attention.

BBL to write personals!

Stacie
I'm sorry to hear about the fibroids :(. Ever since I can remember, my aunt has had them. They were never Cancerous (knock on wood). I'm sending you lots of positive vibes. You'll be just fine :).
Have fun with the HC's!!! I know so many people love em', but it's not something I am interested in. You let us know all the gory, sweaty details ;).
Thanks for the compliment on my core BTW. You are much too kind . For me, the cleaner I eat the better my core looks. Having a child and gaining 60lbs left a little loose skin in the lower ab region, but I've come to make peace with it. Plus, whether or not I'm doing plank exercises, I feel I use my core in so many other ways, especially during weight training when I really have to embrace it and keep strict form.
How is Tyler doing at school???

Heartymax
Thanks for the pic love. It was a miracle that the pic turned out so well. My kid can't stay put .
Have a great vaca. Eat, drink & be merry! You deserve it!

Hello,
I took a rest day yesterday but this morning I struggled through Imax3. I did all the plie jacks (oh man was I burning!) but there were a couple other blasts that I didn't quite hit. at all. but I kept going and doing the best I could on my 8" step.

I am shocked and appalled to hear about the other forums. Unbelievable! What the heck?! Cancelling their preorder, even? Wow. How sucky that the forums are bashing her.

Ya know what, though, some people still just want to be skinny - I actually read a magazine "tip" stated by a model or a TV star; she said that if you want to avoid getting muscles wait longer than an hour after you work out to eat protein. I thought Seriously?! Fit, people, be Fit, Trim, and Strong! Aim to have no sexy muscles?! A LOT of women really are afraid to bulk up - but they don't realize how HARD it is to bulk up, and that it really has to be a goal in order to obtain it! Ignorance.

Stac/Tash, about the calendar - the first one I ordered was to get 20% off the Altus Turbo Tower but now I'm hooked on them! I'm still a paper/pen person I suppose and I like keeping track of my workouts on the calendar - and the Cathe and Crew pics are very motivating:cool:

Tash,
I didn't see the Low Impact HiiT Xtrain clip but I am about to log on and check it out! I did see a couple other DVD clips, and I am very excited!

How was Chuck E Cheese? I hope you all had a blast:)

Great workout - a little and a lot of everything:D

I received S&H today so guess what I will be doing tomorrow?! I will want to do a little cardio first so I'll make sure it's nothing too taxing. Like HiiT or something;)

Thanks for the tip about bodybuilding.com! I don't plan to become one, either, but I do like reading about it. I'll have to check out the recipes! I've been reading some articles on TNation... come to find out the T stands for Testosterone:eek: but it's all good:)

Stacie,
Really sorry to hear about the fibroids. I have heard how painful they are:( That IUD better work for you, that's all I got to say!

Way to keep your neighbor motivated, too - I'm looking forward to when you tell us she's noticing changes in her body (inside and out):)

I hope your boss gives you all a big, fat bonus for all your year-end hard work.

Congrats on your HC workouts! Let us know how it goes! I still haven't gone back to the one I have but I think I'm just afraid of another shoulder injury, plus I noticed that placing my entire body weight on one wrist was uncomfortable. I have my WAGs, which are awesome, but I just haven't been motivated to go back to the workout. I'll give it another try eventually because I really did like the challenge.

Please post an over-priced pic of Ty and Santa (that was funny).

Toni/Heartymax hello!

TTYL peeps!

I purchased a High Step everyone! A new fitness goodie to add to my collection! I'm super excited for it to arrive . Step-ups here I come .

Jennifer
WTG on doing all those lovely plie jacks :D. I still think Cathe was "on" something when she did all those sets. I mean 3 sets, even 4 sets of 8 jacks would have been sufficient. I'll even go as high as 10, but 16????!!!! That is def the hardest cardio move Cathe has ever executed IMO.
About the "skinny" thing, some women don't want muscles, some do. Some are afraid to "bulk", and NO you won't look like Arnie unless you take steroids. I lift pretty damn heavy just to get the slight visible muscles I DO HAVE. I've had several people ask me why I want to lift heavier weights (including my own husband which really peeves me sometimes). For me, lifting heavier increases my lean muscle mass, which equals less body fat %. I doubt I could do that by lifting 3lbs all the time . Plus, I did that with Jari Love workouts and I never obtained the results I wanted. I think the double standard and mentality that "men should train like this, and women should train like that" will always exist. But of course, to each his own. I'm happy I've found like-minded people who appreciate the same workouts I do :).
I will be downloading the rest of the S&H series this week as a Xmas present from me to me :D. I think the bi's & tri's disc are going to actually give me what I want...bi's & tri's !!!

Have a good one ladies!

Hi there.

This morning I started doing Kick Max but after the combos I decided I wasn't in the mood for any more plie jacks. Then I decided to do the Step portion of Intensity. I got through the warmup on that and then decided I just was not in the mood at all to work out.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Tash,
Congrats on your high step! Merry Christmas to you:D

I did enjoy the S&H and really like the concept and the way it feels! Loved the concentration for sure. Yesterday I did Legs/Shoulders and most of Chest/Back. I'm feeling it today mostly in my upperback/shoulders. My problem is that, since the 2 groups don't alternate between sets, there is a lot of down/recovery time. I was frustrated that my workout time was being used as rest time. Having said that, my plan was to do a full UB body workout yesterday but after about 2 hours I just was DONE.
I don't see myself reaching for this workout as often as I'd like since I will need to spend a lot of time on a couple group of muscles:(

The Xtrain is about exhausting each body part before moving on - that will fit my schedule better.

I best get - off to have some food and drinks with some friends.
Have a good night!

Hello everyone!! I hope the holiday season is going well :) My last few workouts were:

Wed - rest
Thurs - HC V2
Friday - Crossfire
Sat - rest
Today - Plyo Legs D2

I don't usually like to do two very heavy leg routines in one week, but I'm trying to build my leg capacity up for what Cathe has in store for us with XTrain!! I'm sure she will have a six day a week program and I want to be ready for that. I am still only doing 5 days right now, but that's because I'm doing HC and I'm not sure how to fit a split upper body rotation in with HC. I think I've decided that I'm not going to try to work HC into XTrain in it's entirety. I think I'm just going to come up with my own 10 minute plank routines once or twice a week mixed in with whatever Cathe has for us.

Tasha
Who in their right mind would cancel their XTrain order after seeing those wonderful clips!!! I'm super excited about the entire series. It's EXACTLY what I want. I love that the leg workout has a little bit if EVERYTHING: barre, ball, weight baring, just everything. And I've fallen in love with HiiT from TTM and Crossfire!! In fact I just received Cardio HiiT in the mail yesterday!! Looking forward to that one in place of crossfire i think. That 40/20 looks super tough!! But it's so short. Do you do that with another workout when you use it? Oh...yah for high step. I LOVE mine...I'm sure you will love yours too!!

Jennifer
Sorry for the bum workout day, but like you said: tomorrow!! I've worked my way up to plie jacks and I can finally do those awful air jacks, but neither are my fav!!

Stacie
I have fibroids also. Luckily mine are just large, but not causing any type of troubles. I hope the UDI helps!!

Heartymax
Have a wonderful trip!!

Good morning ladies! Are you all ready for Christmas? I blew off work yesterday in order to wrap presents and spend time with my nephew...no regrets yet but I know that will change later on in the week when I am struggling to get in more hours.

Last night and tonight we will be skipping workouts. On Saturday night, my neighbor and I did the low impact timesaver premix of KickMax. I think my neighbor really likes that workout. Friday night I thought she was ready for Body Fusion but that turned out to not be true. Her cardio endurance is still not quite there for that one. We'll go back to basic step for a bit and then try again in a couple of weeks. She gave us some nice presents and I still need to figure out a good gift for her. I have some ideas though!

One last comment about the fibroids...I actually feel lucky. They aren't causing me pain...just a heavy cycle. It could always be worse! I feel very fortunate in that aspect.

Natasha
I think that's crazy all the bad stuff you read about Cathe. She is wonderful. I wonder if they just do it for attention. I really don't like Denise Austin but that doesn't mean I am going to bash her every chance I get. I think it's their loss that they cancelled their preorder. I know some people have posted negative stuff on Cathe's FB page in the past. That one blew my mind too...it's like they go out of their way to be malicious.

Congrats on the new high step purchase!!!! You'll find you use it a lot more than you would have thought you would!

Btw, I love the bodybuilding.com site. There is some great info on there. That's where I first read about the benefits of milk and chocolate milk after a workout. I even like reading their little arguments about different things. Many of the people on there definitely know their stuff.

Jennifer
I don't know why there is such a misconception about women and weights. A lot of people feel that women should only lift 5lb dumbbells I guess. It's funny to because you are right about NOT bulking up. Most women simply don't have the testosterone for it. Skinny doesn't always equate to healthy...I wish more people knew that.

Toni
Good gracious! Those are heavy duty workouts you have been doing! No wonder you looked so great on date night.

I have a HC question for you. Are they so taxing that you shouldn't do them with weights? I was think about not doing a full blown HC rotation but rather trying to do them twice a week with other stuff. Do you think it's absolutely essential to do them three times a week like Sandra recommends?

All
I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to all and thank you for being my online friends! Each one of you bring something unique and wonderful to our group. There's Jennifer with her kind and thoughtful words, Heartymax with her wisdom, Toni with her giving nature -- especially when it comes to her kids, and Natasha with her fiery but sweet personality. I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Here is a holiday card for all of you!
Free Ecards | Online Cards, Birthday Cards and Greeting e cards

Happy Christmas Eve & Merry Christmas if I don't post tomorrow :). Hope you and your families have a wonderful day. I hope Santa is kind to you ladies too ;).

No w/o for me Saturday. I spend a few hours without power in my building because of snow and wind knocking down a power line. I went for a little walk with Bella to the store to p/u some last minute things. It was a tad bit cold  but we dressed well and made it ok. Us Canadian's are built for this stuff :D.

Yesterday's w/o was MMA Fusion. I did it in the evening at 7:30pm. I think it was a half-hearted attempt TBH. I should have done a Leslie mile workout :(.

I got 3 more fish! An Algae Eater and 2 Neon Tetra's! My tank looks very lively and full of vibrant color :).

Toni
Ok, so do me a favor, be brave and give 40/20 a go. Try doing it with LITTLE/NO modifications. After you are done, try, just try doing another workout. I still, til this day, cannot for the life of me add ANYTHING prior to/after 40/20. Do not be fooled my dear, that workout is a KILLER . IMO, that is THE HARDEST cardio w/o Cathe has ever made. Wow, I just noticed I wrote so many words in capital letters :D.
Great job on your w/o's this week BTW.

Jennifer
Oh man, I'm sorry S&H was a tad bit of a disappointment for you :(. I understand what you are saying about the breaks. If I can clarify though, when you lift heavy your body needs a longer break to complete the next sets/reps. On bodybuilding.com, they recommend up to 2 minutes between heavy weight work, unless your plan is to super-set. Cathe also explains this during Meso 3. On a brighter note, for bi's & tri's, you DO alternate. I personally am not a big fan of alternating. I feel my muscles are worked harder when I do several exercises for the same muscle groups at once. Just like PUB I suppose.

You ladies have a wonderful holiday :)

Merry Christmas Eve!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!!

Today was TBT UB. Good workout!! I have been neglecting my heavy lifting and I can tell. I'm getting more and more excited about XTrain to get me back on track!!

Stacie
For about six weeks I did the HC workouts twice a week. Now I"m doing them once a week. I wouldn't want to do them next to an upper body workout. It's not that there is a lot of heavy lifting in the workouts, it's just that there is a lot of upper body holding those planks. I am weak in that area and I need that part of my body to be fresh if I want to be able to do the HC workouts.

One thing that I noticed is that when I was doing lots of HC I stopped doing heavy lifting. My large muscle group strength has fallen off. My stablizers are much improved, but you really need both. Esp with stuff like lifting groceries. I would definately suggest keeping one heavy lifting UB day if you can. It's a lot to try to fit in. I'm not going to try it with XTrain. I'm just going to add some of the plank work for my core routines once or twice a week. Then do a typical core segment once or twice a week.

Happy Christmas Eve indeed!

This morning I started with the step/cardio portions of To The Max then I did the Butt Bible L1 (due to time). Even though it's only level 1 it's still a really good bun burner. Today's workout felt fantastic - it was worth the wait (I almost spelled weight!):D

Toni,
Great workouts last week for sure:cool:
Starting this week with UB Trisets sounds perfect. Glad your stabilizing muscles have gotten more stable (haha, pun intended - excuse my goofiness:)); I'm sure you'll get your strength back in no time at all, and I wouldn't be surprised if you surpass your previous max weights!

BTW, I'm with Tasha. I think the 40/20 is the hardest one ever. I don't recall the awful air jacks specifically in that one (sometimes they all run together) but there is plenty of other great stuff in there:eek:

Stacie,
Thank you for the adorable Christmas card and for all your kind words about why you appreciate us. Not to steal your lines or anything but those reasons are similar as to why I appreciate all of you. And as for you - you're all of us in one!

I hope taking the day off that you deserve doesn't bite you too hard. It does sound like it was worth every minute:cool:

I'm glad your neighbor liked Kick Max! As for the Fusion, as you said, maybe after a couple more weeks.
BTW, don't you think it's fun Christmas shopping for an exercise Newbie?:D

Tash,
I bet your tank looks awesome! Sorry to hear about the power going out, though. Yep, I'm sure you Canadians aren't wimps when it comes to the cold:cool:

You're right, there does need to be rest between the sets in S&H. Sigh.
I will have to really plan out my workouts - lengthen the workout time and only do one muscle group a day. Once I figure out a new routine I'm sure it will be worth it. Maybe I can do jumping jacks or jump rope during the rest sets:)

I'm sorry the S&H Bi's/Tri's are opposite your preference but I know you will get the Bi's/Tri's you work so hard to achieve!

You'll get your downloads before we get our DVDs - let us know which one you end up doing first:eek:

Hugs to you all - and to all a very Merry Christmas
Anyone making New Year Resolutions?

Hi Ladies! I was able to get my IPhone app to load again and it works now. Can't go a week without at least saying hello to my workout buddies :).

Stacie---thank you for your kind words. I truly enjoy this check in.

Jennifer---I thought I saw your pic on Facebook under a Cathe Post. I can only remember her name was Jennifer and she had your same beautiful smile.

Tasha---glad your power didn't stay off too long. I'm sure Bella is ready for holidays.

Hi Toni.

Gotta run---more company has arrived.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Presents, food, fun, tired. That was my day :).

I did a workout this morning: STS M2 Legs D4. DH's buddy gave back his 25lbs dumbbell's and I used them for this workout. WOW. My legs (and forearms!) were toast.

Hope everyone had an awesome day!

(BB in a few days for personals :))

Merry Christmas! Peace, Joy, and Love to all of you :)
Did anyone have a White Christmas? We here in St. Louis didn't, not that I mind.

I skipped today; I'm starting to notice a trend on that. Guess I'm just needing some extra down time lately.
Afterburn sounds good for tomorrow, though;)

Tash, Way to rock those 25# dbs!

Good Night! Until whenever:)

I missed a few personals so I want to catch up real quick...

Stacie

Thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful words :). The card was so cute! I also appreciate this check-in and all of you here :).
I hope you are enjoying this time with Tyler, your family & friends, and your nephew. I'm happy you could spend time with him :). To me, Christmas is all about appreciating and enjoying this special occasion with family & friends. The rest is a bonus I suppose.

Toni
I believe Colleen expressed similar concerns while doing HC. She is now getting back into some UB weight training.
I know you want Jai's legs, however I think your legs look pretty damn fabulous from those pics ;).

Jennifer
Great w/o on Xmas eve! I'm glad you are liking Butt Bible :). Have you noticed results that you typically did not while doing Cathe LB workouts?
No, no white Xmas here :(. That's the only time I DO like snow. It all melted into icky piles of slush.

Heartymax
Hope your vacation is going well :).

Busy day for us today. We are headed out to Hamilton (near Niagara Falls) to visit the in-laws. There is suppose to be this massive snow storm coming in. Hopefully we don't get "stuck" in it.

Have a happy Boxing Day everyone :). Who goes shopping?

Happy Holidays all!! Yesterday I did KPC and today was HC. I'm going to attempt to do a six day workout week this week. I feel pretty good right now, which is my typical rest day so I think I should be fine. Maybe Cardio Supersets tomorrow and then Crossfire on Friday. Not sure yet.

Tasha
Thanks for the compliment on my legs :) They look good in clothes, but I want that super hard look that Jai has. No idea how to get it except reduce body fat I suppose  I'm thinking that means no Pepsi!!

And I think I"m going to play it safe and start with 30/30..hehe!! Yes I'm chicken. That one looked doable. If I survive that, I'll try the 40/20 the following week.

Stacie
Thanks for the compliments!! That was sweet :) I know you've talked about RushFit, but please tell me more. I'm budgeting $500 over the course of next year for workout DVDs/equipment. I may not use all that since I think I'm going to do XTrain for 90 days, but I think RushFit would be a good addition and it's not that expensive. I also think I've read that I can fit my own cardio in with the program, which makes it even more appealing to me!!

Jennifer
Sometimes we just need a break!! Take it while you can!!

HeartyMax
Yes, the baby is sleeping through the night. But honestly, I have no idea when she started...LOL!! Chelsea's room is in the basement so I don't hear her at all. Plus she really doesn't cry much. She's a super good baby!! I hope your trip is going well!!

Is everyone super excited for XTrain!! I totally can't wait for it to get here!!

Good morning everyone! It sounds like everyone had a terrific Christmas! My sister was so happy to see my nephew -- he really surprised everyone. The fact that he was here was the best present ever! No workouts last night...I had a really bad headache and my neighbor still had her sons over. Tonight it's back to the weights though! I was looking at the Xtrain workouts and wow! They all look amazing. I can't wait for the 27th when I can start downloading them. I am super excited!

Natasha
You are do dedicated to your workouts! That's wonderful that you did such a hard workout on Christmas no less! That's awesome!

Did Bella like what Santa got her for Christmas?

Jennifer
It did snow here on Christmas Eve. We rushed out when the snow started but we still got caught in quite a bit of it. I was being super careful because I had extra special cargo with me -- both my son and my nephew. We made it though and true to Colorado's nature, most of the snow was gone the next day!

As for New Year's resolutions, I have several! I would like be better at saving, to decrease my body fat more, and to continue to increase my strength! What are yours?

Toni
Thank you so much for the HC information -- that was EXACTLY was I was looking for!

In regards to Rushfit, you do incorporate your own cardio on 2-3 days depending on which schedule of the program you do. All of the main workouts are HiiTs and I thought they were pretty intense. Of course, you could make them more or less so depending on the weight selection you use. I used my 8s and 10s quite a bit. Each of the main workouts starts with a pretty long warm up (it is the same warm-up for every workout). After the warm-up, the workout is five 5 minute rounds with a 1 minute break in between them. In the Fight Conditioning workout, it isn't even really a true break since you do pushups and some other things at that time. The core work is really good in this workout system. I was getting some nice abs doing it. Each workout ends with the same 6 minute stretch which was pretty thorough. I did not due one of the workouts but I hear it is pretty tough too. I hate to enable you but they are offering it for 20% off right now as a Boxing day special.

It was so nice to hear from you before the holidays! Enjoy your time away and have a safe trip home!

Well, I had better get back to work. Have a great day everyone!

Happy post-Boxing day!

Until I just looked it up - because I wanted to double check (good thing!) - I always thought Boxing day was when the maids/butlers switched places with the home/mansion owners. Is there a day when that happens, does anybody know?

So, turns out, yes, I did a little Boxing day shopping. By the way, that should be what Black Friday is called. I bought myself a new purse at Target with a gift card I received.
Nothing fancy, but my other one had already been re-strapped once before and it was falling apart. I had been looking at purses for the last month and finally found one that I liked, was big enough to hold my *security blanket* stuff, and was inexpensive (especially with a gift card). It's burgundy-colored; for the first time I'm branching out from black. I even ordered a purse organizer for my new large bag so I can actually find things in it:D

Do you ladies carry lots of stuff and need a large purse? I tried going smaller but one never knows when this/that/the other will be needed; guess I just like being prepared!

On to workout stuff. Yesterday I did Afterburn - it felt great. I really struggled with those jack push-ups so I didn't do the jack part. However, the dragging plank pushups have gotten much easier so at least there's that!

Last night I went to ripped class to see my workout buddies. It was fun; I went pretty light with my weights because of AB in the morning.

Tash, did Bella get a puzzle for Christmas?! That still is funny to me!

As for BB results versus Cathe results, honestly I do think BB has made a difference. BB really targets my glutes like there's no tomorrow - lots of glute squeeze type of exercises, more reps, and more sets. I feel BB exercises more in my buns than in my legs. I still do Cathe's LB workouts so maybe it's the combination of both, to be fair, but definitely since BB I've noticed a firmer butt. Still working on the thighs but they have gotten better, too!

I'm sure you're having a great time visiting the in-laws over by Niagara Falls, and I pray that you all are safe and don't get stuck in a snow storm. Since my car accident I still am a bit weary of other drivers especially in bad weather conditions.

Stacie, very glad your nephew was able to come home; what a nice surprise! Good job with your driving skills, too. Some people just don't seem to realize that going slower rather than faster is a better way to get to their destinations!

I forgot that you'll get the downloads... I'm excited for you and Tash! Let us know which one you do first! I have to wait for the DVDs.

Your NY Resolutions sound good. Have you already worked out a savings plan? I always make the same ones... to have more patience with my mother and to work on my inner me. I feel I've finally gotten the mother thing down so now I need to focus on me. I'm going for internal work; I have some people issues so I want to work on being stronger and happier.

Toni, I read where you wrote that the baby is sleeping through the night and that she's a good baby. So glad to hear it! I bet she got spoiled for her first Christmas?!

Good plan to budget for workouts and to go for 6 days a week to up your game - sounds awesome!

Heartymax, looking forward to hear about your holiday.

Have a super day you fit and hot mommas!

XTrain is shipping TODAY!! Whoot Whoot!!

Today's workout was Cardio Supersets. Felt ok for the fifth workout this week straight. I'll need to do some stretching and foam rolling before I tackle TTM tomorrow. I was going to do Crossfire, but I feel like TTM is a bit easier and a bit shorter. I don't know if it's actually shorter, but it certainly feels shorter when I'm doing it.

I think next week will look like this:

Sun: Plyo Legs D3
Mon: MM UB premix
Tue: Low Impact Challenge
Wed: Cardio HiiT 30/30
Thu: MM UB premix
Fri: Afterburn

That's a pretty tough set for the week, so I'll make adjustments as necessary. But I'll be doing UB twice next week, so I think that will be a good thing for me to build that strength back up. I'll also be putting together my own 5-10 minute plank work segment to throw in there.

Jennifer
I'm a travel light kind of girl. I carry a fairly small purse. I have a few sizes depending on how much stuff I need to drag along, but typically it isn't much. I'm glad you found something you like. Purse shopping is exaughting!!

Stacie
Thanks for the RushFit info. I'm thinking I may do that over the summer. I found some You Tube videos of the workouts. They look like there will be lots of core work in there!!

TTYL

Good afternoon everyone! Last night was Pure Strength Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. I have no idea how the neighbor is feeling today. I know I have some DOMS kicking in on my shoulders.

I am so excited that Xtrain is releasing today! Whoo hoo! I am glad we all preordered so we can talk about the workouts without leaving anyone out. I think the first one I will do is the Hiit or the Tabata one. I have been looking for low impact versions of both of those for awhile! I know Intensity has the low impact Hiit and there were low impact versions of Tabata workouts in CF and TTM but the segments were soooo short. It's going to be awesome to have full length versions of those two!

Jennifer
Congrats on the new purse! I have a heck of time finding purses I like. I used to always get my purses at the Fossil outlet stores but they closed the one here in Colorado. I nearly cried when I found out. I buy little purse but then cram them full of stuff. The marine used to joke that my purse had stretch marks which cracked me up.

Toni
That's a very tough schedule you have planned out. Is Jasmine doing all of those with you?

I think you will really like Rushfit. I have been seeing Tapout for a lot cheaper than it was on Craigslist and Ebay. People seemed to really like the Les Mills Combat too which makes me regret not preordering it. :(

Have a great day everyone!

Hello everyone :)

Went tobogganing today! Woo hoo! I'm definitely still a kid at heart :D.

I came home from the in-laws yesterday and did 40min of Power Max. I pretty much forced myself to do it, and I'm glad I did.

Today's w/o was supposed to be something from Xtrain  but I won't be able to start downloading until later on this evening. I've decided to do STS M2 W4 Back & Bi's and later on during the week M2 W4 Chest, Shoulder's & Tri's. Next week I will officially start Xtrain UB strength workouts. This week I will FOR SURE do the Xtrain cardio's and perhaps Cardio Leg Blast . I'm also dying to start those 100 rep challenges . I can assure you that by the end of next week, I will have done all the Xtrain w/o's. I'm not one for delayed gratification ;).

I have no idea what the true meaning behind Boxing Day is, all I know is that here in Canada, we get great deals on stuff. My cousin bought a PS3 and a new TV.
Congrats on the new purse! I will admit, I am a purse-a-holic . I have actually tamed a bit since I had Bella. I like my purses BIG! I don't carry much, but I'm just drawn to purses in the med-large frame :D. OMG, it sounds like I'm talking about...men ;).
Great job on Afterburn and the dragging plank push-ups! I don't mind those, but I absolutely despite plank jack push-ups .
Oh, and congrats on the Butt Bible results! I'm sure you look smokin' ;).

Toni
Your w/o schedule this week looks awesome . I love weight training and I'm very devoted to it. I can't imagine just doing body weight stuff or circuits. I did that with Jillian and Bob for years, and although I lost weight, I was not nearly as fit and toned as I am now with Cathe.
RushFit looks like a great program BTW. I'm contemplating getting it too because, holy smokes, they are shipping free to Canada!

Glad you had a nice Xmas :). I hope your headaches get better :(.
Yes, Bella got everything she wanted  and some. It's not me that spoils her, it's my family. I don't want her to get, get, get, and not appreciate, you know what I mean?
How did Tyler do?
Thank you for the compliment on my dedication. If I can do it, I will. If I can't, I try not to let it bother me. Most importantly though, I want and like to exercise.

Have a rockin' day ladies!
