Push It

Oh man, my whole body is in a serious state of DOMS today. Yesterday's w/o was...wait for it...Afterburn premix (30min) + GSL premix standing work (30min).:eek::eek:. What in the world was I thinking??? That was one hell of a LB workout! OUCH. My UB is really sore from M3 Shoulder's, Bi's & Tri's I did the other day. Mission accomplished ;).

I have to share this kickbox workout I found and did today! I'm picky with kickbox, but I LOVED this workout! Seriously, I AM impressed. I never thought I would find a kickbox workout that I liked besides KPC. This one was it .

Speaking of butts, how is yours today??? I have a special place in my heart for Intensity since it was my very 1st step workout that I nailed (besides Basic Step).
You are right about the Deadlift range of motion. I find the lower I go past my knee, the more susceptible I am to injure my back. Thank you for the FYI :).
I'm glad Whisper is getting better. What a lovely name for a dog BTW. He seems like a very sweet and loving pup. What breed is he again?

Toni
I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying scrap-booking. You are doing a great job at it.
I meant to tell you, if you need some idea's about how to incorporate HC with Xtrain, PM Colleen. She always has great idea's on how to make rotations.

Stacie
I'm sorry to hear about your netbook :(. But OTOH congrats on the new laptop! Merry Xmas to YOU ;).
I'm sorry to hear about the sleep :(. Hopefully next week things calm down and you can catch up on it.
TBH, I think all small children have some form of ADD. Maybe some have it worse than other's, but it's hard for children to have long attention spans (it can be hard for adults too!).
You are really so nice to help out your neighbor like that. I hope she continues to make it a part of her lifestyle.

Have a good evening

TGIF!
I managed to tweak my knee and my lowerback at Ripped class Wednesday night so I'm on a rest day today. Figures, after I had been saying how well my lower back has been doing. I thought by doing Cycle Max yesterday I'd be feeling better by now but that is not the case. I hope I don't have to rest too long but I guess there's always some low impact and yoga to do.

By the end of this weekend I will have all my Christmas shopping completed and my Christmas cards in the mail on Monday. I'm running later than usual for the cards to be completed but going out of town last weekend put me behind... at least it's not too late yet:)

Tasha,
Thanks so much for the kickboxing link! How on Earth do you find the good ones? You discovered Butt Bible, too, and I'm very partial to that one now.
I hope my PC doesn't freeze up - or perhaps I can get into UTube from one of the TVs in the basement. I always like KPC and of course Tae-Bo with Billy Blanks. That tells me we are on the same page as far as cardio kickboxing goes... plus I know we both really like Cathe's MMA: Boxing:)

Congrats on your DOMS! Yay! Okay, I'm starting to think about the Meso thing. I know it's an expensive set and that it's worth it - but I'm in the pre-contemplation stage... that's a start, but I wonder if it's partially because I'm getting anxious for the new XTrain series -- I'm really ready for some more stuff.

Whisper was doing better but he's managed to have a set back. He will just have to learn that he needs to be careful with his foot. Thanks - his name was already granted to him by the time we got him, and we think it was actually a joke because he never whispers - he likes to bark! His former people probably kept yelling at him to Whisper! By the way, he's a greyhound. Speaking of, I have one more gift-wrapping-for-donations session left this season - it's on Sunday.

Have an awesome day and be safe!

I can't muster a smile today. The school shooting is all I can think about and I just don't get it!!:mad::mad: My workout today was TTM, but all I can think is so what.

I'll come back tomorrow for personals when hopefully my mood is in a better place.

Sorry to be MIA---wasn't feeling well earlier this week and ended my not working out all week. I got up this morning and spent 45 minutes on the treadmill. Then I took DS10 to do his Christmas shopping. We always enjoy our little holiday shopping time together.

Toni---you look so HOT in that outfit. I bet the hubby couldn't keep his hands off you. I have never done any scrap booking but digital scrap booking sounds interesting.

Stacie-- glad things are progressing for your son. Maybe doing weights will become more enjoyable for your neighbor. If you can get her to do it once or twice a week, she will be amazed with her results.

Tasha---cute pic of Bella and the baby.

Jennifer--my boys enjoyed the NBA game. It's nice that we live in an area where they can have those experiences.

Hello all!! Today was STS Plyo legs D1. Holy crap...love this one. Not sure my legs will tomorrow though...hehe!! I wasn't sure how well I would do, but I was able to do the entire thing. This sit-n-stands were crazy. I'm not sure I even managed 2. Much work needed with those.

The next four weeks I plan on doing a rotation where I do 1 LB workout, 1 UP workout, 1 HC workout, 2 cardio workouts. I think I'm going to do CF and TTM for the cardio  Doing both those with Plyo Legs may get interesting. We will see how it goes.

Jasmine's cheerleading coach says that she needs to get stronger if she wants to advance in her tumbling. She is tall for her age, so her legs need to be even stronger for the power tumbling and for the rotations on some of the tumbling moves. That means she needs to condition at home. To this point she has not really done much with it, but I told her I'm not going to pay extra money for private tumbling lessons if she isn't going to condition at home. So now she's all about the conditioning at home :) I'm excited because I'm going to put her on some of my DVDs. I'm going to have her do a modified HC V1 routine and also a modified plyo legs D1 workout(about 25 minutes including warmup). I'm going to shorten both of them and loose all the weights. She's only 9 and too young for weighted workouts. If she wants to feel like she's using weights, I have some 1 lb dumbbells she can hold that won't add anything to the workout. Oh also gonna have her do the 4 minute plyo tabatta if she chooses to do a third day of workout, which is completely optional.

The workouts are going to be hard so I told her we can make sure there is chocolate milk for an after workout drink(similar to my protein drink). We are also going to buy new workout outfits today to help with motivation!! Shopping always motivates :) She's super excited about it and so am I :)

Jennifer
Sorry to hear about your back. Hope that gets better soon. Nice you are done Christmas shopping. It's getting very crowded out there.

Tasha
Afterburn + GS Legs....what in THE HECK were you thinking...LOL!! That just makes my legs hurt thinking about it

Stacie
Sorry abut the unexpected laptop purchase!! Unexpected stuff is always hard on the budget!! But at least your are functional again. Do you fix your own PC equipment? The thought of that makes my head hurt

HeartyMax
Hope you are feeling better. This sickness is going around!!

Good morning, ladies.

After skipping Friday and Saturday my back was much better on Sunday so I did Step Blast. It went fine; it was the perfect workout for me... not too intense but enough to keep my heart pumping strong.

This morning I did some Upper body Trisets but instead of a premix option I made my own by skipping some sets here and there; partially to save on time and partially because I wanted to avoid working my back too hard.

Yesterday was the last of the gift wrapping sessions for Greyhound rescue donations. Whisper's toe is doing better, by the way.

Craig and I went to the shooting range and practiced shooting with his new .9 mil and his .22. I'm slow at loading the clips and pulling the slide to get a round into the chamber, but my aim is pretty good. I'm still new at shooting so I blink every time I shoot.

Toni,
I think it's awesome that you and Jasmine will be doing workouts at home, and I couldn't agree more - new workout clothes really are motivating!
Your workout plan sounds great, for both you and Jasmine:)

Heartymax,
I'm glad you are feeling better. Hopefully it is out of everyone system now.
Christmas shopping with DH10 - I can imagine how nice that time is:) Warms my heart just thinking about it, really.

Tash and Stacie, I hope all is well with you and everyone.

Have a great day!

ONIM (Oh No It's Monday :() everyone :p

My workouts these past few days:

Fri: off

Sat: was supposed to be my scheduled STS M3 Chest & Back. You know something, I'm not a fan of alternating between the two because you go from barbell chest presses to barbell rows, which means you have to constantly take your barbell off the hooks and adjust the weight. Me no likey . And it's WAY TOO LONG UGH :(. I was a bad girl and downloaded Slow & Heavy Chest & Back . What a gem! I absolutely adore this concept! For the first time I saw my pec muscles quiver. I've been in a serious state of DOMS for 2 days now. I want the entire series!
When Bella went to bed I did a 3 mile Leslie Walk. I love walking before bed. Doing strenuous cardio in the evening just wires me up and I don't want that. Getting my steps in is very important to me.

Sat: Imax 2 (only had time for 30min). After Bella went to bed I did another 2 mile Leslie walk + STS Extended Stretch. I needed it from S&H.

Toni
How awesome of you to share your Cathe with Jasmine! I'm sure she'll love her, and I KNOW she will get stronger. You are such a good mommy :).
WTG on Plyo Legs! I LOVE PLYO LEGS WITH ALL MY HEART! My favorite workout from STS hands down!

Heartymax
Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. It's going around here too. Bella is on her inhalers again and my throat felt a bit scratchy for a few days.
When I see mommies and son's shopping together, my heart melts :).

Jennifer
Glad your back is feeling better :). It's amazing how one little tweak or wrong move could land you out of commission .
Glad to hear Whisper is doing better :).
I'm having fun with youtube workouts! Not as intense as Cathe, but that's ok sometimes ;).
I never knew you liked the shooting range. That's pretty cool . There are so many laws on firearms here that I doubt Mark could even get his hands on one, even if he got approved and filed all the necessary paperwork. Canada is very much an anti-gun country. If someone comes on your property and you shoot them out of self defense, they could end up suing you and WIN! It's a very controversial topic though, so I won't elaborate much.

Have a great day ladies :)

Good afternoon everyone! These 50+ hour a week work weeks suck royally. Tyler also came down with a 24 hour virus on Friday and passed it onto me yesterday. It was a miserable night. Luckily I got permission to work from home just in case I started to feel sick again.

Friday night was TBT express premix. Saturday was an off day and Sunday I tried about 10 minutes of the Richard Simmon's workout before I had to rush home from the neighbors because I was sick. We need to do weights tonight...maybe the LIC mix again.

I have a kind of funny story. My neighbor kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas and I joked and said Captain America. After she showed me the pictures of her sons and was telling me how muscular they were, I said jokingly that you could have them just dress like Captain America. Well, she actually TOLD them that is what I wanted! I am sooo embarrassed! They probably think I am some sleezy woman that lives next door to their mom. I had no idea she thought I might be serious! I am going to be beet red if I ever run into them again. Before I knew that she had said that, I made some chocolate chip cookies for them. They probably think I slipped Ruffies in them now!

Oh, I have one piece of good news. I was weak and purchased 8 HC DVDs off of Ebay. I know I shouldn't have but it was such a good deal! All 8 were just $93.50 after shipping! One time on Ebay I saw the entire Shock Cardio Series for $75 and I didn't get it. I kicked myself for that one for a long time because I wound up paying way more buying them individually and I still don't have the whole set!

Toni
Plyo legs has some serious dread factor for me! Great job on knocking it out!

I think it's great that you are introducing your daughter to Cathe. And you are a super smart mom for knowing not to use weights and for using chocolate milk as a post workout drink. Two thumbs up!

I usually do my own PC repairs. I am not sure about the netbook though because I think the connectors for laptops/netbooks are soldered onto the motherboard. When I get a chance, I am going to have to take it apart and see. I feel much more comfortable fixing desktops.

Heartymax
Sorry to hear that you were sick. I am glad that you are better now! Are you holding up ok with the news about the school shooting? I think it will affect people even more who actually work in schools. I know there were some police cars hanging around the school today.

Natasha
Slow and Heavy is good stuff. Now you will have to download the other portion on it! ;)

Sorry to hear Bella is back on the inhaler. I will say that those Mucinex mini-melts have been a lifesaver for us. They wipe out most of Tyler's congestion in just a couple of days. I used to give him lemonade too when he was sick because lemon is a natural decongestant.

Jennifer
Good to hear that your back is feeling better. Just like abs, it's amazing we use our backs way more than we realize! It's definitely not fun when it's tweaked.

That's terrific news that Whisper is feeling better! It's so kind of you to get the greyhound presents dropped off too.

So, did all of you ladies read in the newsletter that Xtrain might be released THIS week??? How exciting is that????:eek:

Hello!! Today was PUB...ouch!! I'm already have DOMS in my upper body. My legs are still in a slight state of DOMS from plyo legs on Sunday, so I'm feeling like quite the old lady today. I think I will do KPC tomorrow, we will see.

Jasmine did the 30/20 portion of TTM yesterday. I was so proud of her. Her form needs a little work, but I wanted her to learn the moves first. We can tweak form as we go along. I just had her use a flat step with no risers so she would be safe with the moves. A couple of the moves I had her do off the step for safety. Her cheerleading coach will not be happy with me if she is working out with me and twists an ankle with some HiiT move :)

Have to run to take Jasmine to cheerleading practice...

Stacie---It was hard keeping my eyes off the news over the weekend. What damper on everyone spirits for the holiday season. There is definitely an increased police presence around schools.

Tasha---I love Slow and Heavy. It took me a while to purchase that one but I remember getting it with one of those 30% off deals a while back. It is not one that I can do very long due to the amount of concentration required. I have done it for 4 weeks but prefer 2 weeks and then go into GS.

Toni---Good precautions you are taking with Jasmine. Wouldn't want the coach to come looking for you if she got injured. Plyo Legs is a favorite of mine. It's like getting in an extra cardio and working your legs.

Jennifer
---the back is one of those muscle groups you have to be very careful with. It's great having those workouts for moments like that. Just enough to keep your heart rate going but no injure yourself.

Yesterday was STS Total Body workout. I skipped a few segments to save on time. Today I reached for the HIit Series. Finished 40/20 and feeling wiped out. It's been a while since I have done this one.

Hello everyone :)

Yesterday's w/o was STS TB (lower body premix 20min) + STS M1 Bonus Leg Segments (15min x 2). Have I told you guys how much I love those STS bonus leg conditioning drills? For Disc 3, it's barre work w/firewalker and for Disc 9 it's ankle weights + firewalker. I see Cathe has included some of the same exercises in Xtrain :D.

Stacie
Hope you and Tyler feel better :).
OMG the Captain America story was SO funny! How old are the guys? If they are over 18, I say it would be totally acceptable ;). This coming from a woman who is utterly obsessed with a teenage boy band :rolleyes:;).
Congrats on jumping on the HC wagon! That is one wagon I have no desire to ride :D.

Heartymax
WTG on doing 40/20!!! "Wiped out" would be an understatement .

Toni
That's great Jasmine did 30/20. Even with all the modifications, that still is a effective plyo workout.

Jennifer
HI !!!!!

Have a good one ladies :)

Good morning,
I did Lower Body Blast this morning; I skipped some of the squats and deadlifts to take extra care of my back. But it still felt really good:)

Tash, ONIM - that's funny:) Luckily that day's over with unscathed to most hopefully.

Your workouts over the past few days have been great! I bet you look fantastic with all the weight training you've been doing this week! By the way, I ordered the S&H series. PUB had my chest muscles shaking and I want MORE of THAT:D Plus, as you mentioned, I like the focus and concentration aspect of it.

Bella on an inhaler again? I guess her asthma has gotten worse? Do you think it's the cold, dry weather?

Tough gun laws are a good thing. Craig just got his conceal and carry permit, however it does come with a bunch of possible law suits waiting to happen. As you said, if someone breaks into our house and we feel threatened (naturally, who wouldn't?!) we shoot and kill or injure the intruder - yes, we could be sued by the guy's family. Legally we were within our rights, and hopefully we'd have a jury who wouldn't convict us. But still, the jury could go one way or the other and it is a big deal all the way around. Personally, saving my own life would be worth being sued if it ever came down to that. How sad that we even have to think about it and the safety of our family.

Stacie,
So sorry that you and Ty were sick! I'm glad you're feeling better now.

It's hilarious that your neighbor is actually going to have her sons dress as Captain America for you - maybe you can do a workout with them; then you can see them in action!

Congrats on the HC workouts! You and Toni will have a lot to talk about! I liked it but haven't gotten back into it.

Heartmax,
Wow, STS Total Body and followed by HiiT 40/20 - I bet your legs feel like Jell-O! What a great workout - very motivating:)

Toni,
Has Jasmine tried a Cathe workout yet?

Have an awesome day!

Hi all!! Today was Low Impact Challenge. This is actually the first time I've ever done that workout fully. That one has some tricky combos in it. I really like it. I only gave it a half hearted attempt because my legs are so freakin' tired from Plyo legs on Sunday  I took a lot of the energy out of it because my legs just didn't have it. Besides that sometimes I just had to stop and look at he screen to figure out what she was doing :) I do like the workout though. I'll be doing that again next week.

Today Jasmine did part of HC V2. I decided to have her do V2 because there is a lot less weighted work. I had her do the first three sequences. Minus the one leg exercise. I had her swap that out for leg lifts, which her coach wants her to do. I had her do a lot of the modification. We used a flat riser for a step. Any move that required going from high plank to low plank we modified to stay in high plank. We also simplified some of the leg moves while in plank position. She's still getting used to locking her body out and planting her feet firmly for the plank moves. I want her to get that down before we add a bunch of leg movement to her moves. She did awesome though!! I allowed her to tell me how many she could do. I let her stop when she was ready and I stopped her if I saw she couldn't hold her form anymore. I want to really teach her about modifications and only doing as many as she can do with good form. She's responding really well. She looks forward to her conditioning sessions, which is really important to me. And at the end of the workout we say: GIRL POWER!! She loves that....hehe!!

Jennifer
Yes, Jasmine the 30/20 section of TTM on Sunday(plus warmup)!! It's only 14 minutes so it's short enough for her to not get bored plus not too long to over work her. I was going to have her do the tabatta, but when she heard it was only 4 minutes she didn't want to do it because it was too short. I'm going to have her do about 15 minutes(plus warm up) of Plyo legs on Thursday. She does LOTS of modification, but she still gets a good workout. I can see she's tired at the end of her 15 minutes...hehe!!

Tasha
I'm starting to get really excited about the clips of XTrain. I can't wait!!

Stacie
That's really funny about Captain America!! Hopefully the kids understand it was a joke...LOL!!

Toni---The Low Impact Challenge step is definitely complicated at the end. I have tried it a couple of times and just got frustrated. I just opt for the premixes and I like all of those.

Jennifer---"jello" is an understatement. My quads were sore last night. I guess that leg work and all those running mans did my end.

Tasha---what a great premix leg workout you put together.

As sore as my legs were this morning---I pushed myself through Muscle Max. I wanted to do some total body workouts this week. We will travel for the holidays and are leaving this weekend. We will be gone for a week. I have so much more stuff to do to get ready to leave. I am definitely looking forward to the holidays.

Good morning,
Slide and Glide was my workout today. I really love how that low impact cardio workout really works my hams, glutes, and hips - all in such a short amount of time. I thought about doing 40/20 but decided to stay low impact today especially since tonight I am going to see my workout buddies at Ripped class - looking forward to that:)

Did anyone besides myself order a Cathe 2013 calendar? I tore out some of the pictures/phrases from last year's and pinned them on the walls in my workout room. It really added some color to the walls and it adds to my motivation.

Heartymax,
Good deal - pushing yourself through Muscle Max. Just standing on your legs was work! MM is one of my favs.
Have a very safe and wonderful holiday in case you don't check in for a while... sounds like you are very busy preparing:) Tis the season!
By the way, that last combo in LIC frustrated me at first, too.

Toni,
LIC sounds like it was just the active recovery that you needed. Yes, that last combo was very tricky to learn. It's easy to forget, too, when it's been on the shelf for too long!

Listening to your workouts with Jasmine put a smile on my face; it's great to hear you coach her so well, and I love the Girl Power at the end:) Ha - funny - wait until she actually gets around to doing the Tabata - then she'll be thankful it's only 4 minutes! I guess she got a darn good dose of interval training, anyway, with 30/30:)

Hi Tasha and Stacie!

Have a fantastic day!

Good morning ladies! Last night was Basic Step with the neighbor. I only used one riser since I was still feeling kinda off from the stomach flu. Today I have my appointment with the OB/GYN to see if I have any growths that are causing my TOTM to be so heavy. Hopefully there is nothing wrong...

By the way, the neighbor's son are adults so no worries there...lol. The youngest one just turned 26 and the oldest one is nearly 33. I hope they forget about the whole episode soon. They really down play the exercises we do. I am determined to have their mom lose weight and get toned just to prove them wrong...lol. I am debating even doing STS with her in a couple of months. I want to do some 1RM testing with her because I think she can lift heavier than she realizes. So far she has only been using 2lb and 3lb dumbbells. I don't want to push her too hard but I do want to increase her endurance and strength. I was hoping that Cathe would have the Xtrain workouts in the workout manager already so we could start on 1RM testing for that but I haven't noticed anything yet.

HeartyMax
I am with you on LIC....I find that last combo so hard to get. I usually get frustrated and turn it off. I should try again but it's hard to get motivated to when I have other step DVDs I like better.

Have a great time on your holiday travels and please be safe! Are you taking AB with you again? ;)

Toni
Way to go Jasmine! The HiiTs are hard. What a great job she did doing it and HC! I bet she enjoys spending time working out with you. They grow up so fast...enjoy it well you can!

Jennifer
No calendar for me. The one I ordered last year just sat around taking up space. To be honest, I only ordered it for the 20% discount that you got on all the other DVDs for a time period. I don't think she offered that same discount this year. I wonder what happened to the Xtrain t-shirt she was working on. Maybe she just got too busy!

Natasha
No HC for you? I am surprised by that! I wanted to get them because I feel my core is one of my weak points. I have Core Max and Ab Circuits but I just don't reach for them for some reason. I got the best core results from Rushfit. I really miss that program but with the neighbor involved now and the extra work hours, I don't see myself getting to those anything soon. The same with the the kettlebells which makes me sad. I enjoyed those too.

Gotta run to my appointment. Have a great day everyone!

HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN ALL THE XTRAIN CLIPS ON COLLAGE?????

I like what I see, especially with the Low Impact Hiit cuz' you wanna know why? It resembles the Intensity low impact hiit portion!!!! I've also noticed Cathe utilizing some of the same best and effective weight training exercises from STS. This series looks like it will totally kick a**.

My workout yesterday was CF Triple Tabata + 4DS Shouder's, Bi's, & Tri's. Tip to myself: DO NOT do Triple Tabata and then proceed to weight work. I barely managed to eek out my reps :(. I felt weak and tired by that point. I might try to tack-on the Tabata's after weight work and see how that goes, but personally, the Tabata's drain all my energy and I have nothing left.

Today we go to Chuck E Cheese!

Heartymax
Have a safe and happy trip. I'll say Merry Christmas now just in case you're busy and can't post.
BTW, good for you pushing through MM!

Stacie
LOL are you really surprised I have not boarded the HC wagon? You do realize it's mostly plank work right? Me+Planks= NO NO NO :D. Seriously though, I have no desire to torture myself at this point in my life :D. Working out should be enjoyable too, and I def would not enjoy that form of training. But YOU have fun with it!
Oh, I'm sure you don't have growths in your uterus. Try to stay optimistic. You will be perfectly fine :).

Jennifer
No, I did not order the calendar :(. It's sounds really cool though, perhaps next year :).
Hope you had fun at your Ripped class with your buddies!
Congrats on ordering S&H!!!!! Yay, we can do the happy dance together!!! I think you will def enjoy it. I don't believe it's a form of training that everyone will love, but I took to it immediately. I think you will too :).
Bella is better now, thank you for asking. She had a pretty bad cough and chest congestion for about 1 week :(.

Toni
I love Low Impact Challenge! The last combo is a bit tricky, but you'll get it ;).
Plyo Legs does it again! It's amazing how effective that workout is .
I love the "Girl Power" thing you guys say at the end of a workout! So cool . I'm glad Jasmine is enjoying all your little goodie workouts you have planned.

5 days to go everyone!

Good morning everyone! Last night's work out was TBT Total Body premix. My neighbor did great...she did all the pushups in the modified position and for a couple of exercises she upped her weights up to 5lb. I am still stagnant with push ups -- usually hitting 8 and maybe up to 10 on a good day.

The doctor's visit went as expected...I have one maybe two fibroids (it could be one large one or two smaller ones close together) which are basically benign tumors that are causing the issues. I could do surgery which could affect my ability to have more children, I can try to treat the symptoms with the Mirena IUD, or I can just leave things as they are. I have to do more checkups now to make sure they aren't growing which would mean the fibroids might be cancerous. Anyway, lots of women have them and very rarely are they cancerous so I am trying not to stress out about it.

Natasha
I forgot about your hatred for planks. I know that you do lots of core work (and it shows!) which is why I was surprised. Since I will have the 8 pack I will let you know if all of them are plank heavy. I think the stability ball one might be different. I will definitely let you know.

Have fun at Chuck E. Cheese! Tyler loves that place!

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Tasha----love the pic of you and Bella. Such a beautiful mommy/daughter photo.

Jennifer and Stacie
---yes, it 's that last combo that is so frustrating with LIC. I guess I need to just take some time one day and just give it another try:D Since that is the message that we send kids all the time. Don' t give up:eek:

Toni----Hope the new bundle of joy is still sleeping well through the night. I bet you have the cutest ornament on your tree for her first Christmas.

We get out of school early today. I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready for our trip.

Happy Holidays to everyone! My Cathe app has not been working on my phone the last few days so I may or may not be able to check in and say hello while I am away. Hopefully, I can reset it and it will work just fine.

Good morning everyone! Last night was some strange Victoria Johnson workout that we stopped after about 10 minutes. Cueing was not good and we were totally lost. I think my neighbor agrees with me that Cathe DVDs are the gold standard in the industry although I will say that the Rushfit ones are a very close second IMO. We wound up doing the Richard Simmons one too. It was a long but very easy workout.

I received the HC workouts yesterday. I am totally excited to try them out. The first one "Getting Started" is only 10 minutes long. Hopefully I get that in tonight or tomorrow. We need to get going early tomorrow so that my son can see Santa and I can shell out some money for some overpriced pictures. My neighbor wants to go to Sam's club so we will probably get that done too and I have some baking and cleaning to do before my nephew arrives on Sunday. Of course the Scrooges at work are still standing by their 50+ hour a week rule so I will have to get in some hours as well. Bah Humbug!

My doctor's office is going to work with me so I can get the Mirena IUD at my annual on the 28th before my new crappy health coverage kicks in for next year. Thanks goodness! Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't cause any migraines! I think it will be fine though and will help with the other problems too. My doctor is so wonderful....I wish there were more like her.

HeartyMax
Have a safe trip and if we don't hear from you before, Have a very Merry Christmas and an even better New Year!
