Good morning everyone! Last night I did RF: Abdominal Stength & Core Conditioning. It was a good workout. I went light on the weights I used because I had worked out in the morning. Some of the the exercises were really hard because my legs were already sore from the morning workout. My abs were not sore at all. They did this crazy move that was straight from the Exorcist. You know that scene where she is walking down the stairs upside like a spider? That's the move they were doing! I couldn't do it at all. I think Cathe's core stuff is harder but I definitely sweated more during this workout. Next time I will try it with higher weights and really give it my
all.
I am getting really excited about Xtrain! I asked in the forum if they are going to set up the weight workouts for Xtrain in the workout manager like they did for STS (where is shows the 1RM values, the weight you should use, the number of reps to do, and the actual values done) and they said they were! That alone makes me super excited! I tried to do that with all of Cathe's weight workouts but there is a bug in the workout manager where it only uses the 1RM values for 10 exercises. After that, it stops calculating them and it doesn't update the values if the 1RM changes. It was a total bummer. I logged a bug about it but never got a response.

RF's version of a popup is where you get down on your knees and then jump straight up to you feet. It looked really hard but wasn't so bad. One nice thing about this program is that they give you tons of modifications. I like that. It's easy to keep it pretty low impact.
I don't believe that you actually have saddlebags -- if you do, I would be willing to venture that they are probably really really really small and probably most people wouldn't even notice them at all. None of us have perfect bodies -- not even the movie stars or else they wouldn't have their pictures photoshopped all the time.

A lot of the RF workouts are exercises that they say would help you in a MMA fight. They don't actually teach you how to fight but more like conditioning the muscles that you would need if you were to fight. A couple of the workouts are supposed to have some MMA moves but I haven't gotten to those yet. I would consider these all to to be HiiTs which is why I should probably try to do solid state cardio for the cardio days. So far my only complaint about the set is the warm up for EVERY disc so far has been the exact same footage. I could see how that's going to get kinda old after 8 weeks. It's just ten minutes though and it is a good warm up so maybe it won't be that bad.
I enjoy reading this blog about this woman who did Rushfit. She is a riot. She called doing Rushfit a journey of self-abuse and agony....lol.

I am glad you like the site -- I like it too! I think they have pretty good information and articles. The trainer Eric is really knowledgable. He is really good looking too...dark hair and light skin...my weakness!
Body Beast does look awesome! I am trying to save up for that one. I did find teambeachbody.com that gives you 10% off of orders if you become a member. Membership is free as well. I might order from that site to save $9.
Have a great day everyone!
