Push It

Stacie
Out of curiosity, I went to check TTM Less Impact premix (38min) and there is no hiit 30/20 on it. I went through all the chapter's too and double checked. Perhaps you went to another premix. The one on TTM is def all low impact. Just a heads-up for next time, that way you don't disregard it totally.

Happy Saturday morning!
My workout today is cleaning. All of a sudden I realized how disgusting the place is.

My entire upper body from PUB is sore but not too awful bad:D I love that my upper back and chest especially are sore and my biceps are getting more sore as I type:)

The Fitness Challenge class that I took Thursday gave my legs DOMS, and yesterday I felt it a little bit in my buns but not today; my quads are still s little sore. The leg part of the class was mostly jumping/stepping and squatting onto a step with 4 risers on each side!

Tomorrow I will warm up with whatever DVD is next on the rotation (cardio only probably since I'm a bit out of order); plus I'll do my pushups.

Heartymax, so glad your shoulder is feeling better, and you are very smart to have been warming up before your pushups! Sounds like a good idea to drop down a column. Good job on the GS legs (love that one) and being careful with the barbell.

As for Cathe's website, you could make it DH's Homepage! He'd be surprised when he logs on; he'll get another reminder that he won't forget:D Or there's always the trusty sticky note on the bathroom mirror; dont' forget to add a kiss and a hug to it ;)

Stacie, I was wondering if you'd met up with the ex or not and how that might have been going... it sounds like you're doing just fine going on about your own business:cool:

Thanks for the description of Rushfit. It does sound like it moves quickly but that it's also fun and effective! Beach Body sure does offer a huge selection of workouts; wow, another new one?! It is so amazing how many kinds of workouts are available. Surely you will get XTrain before buying something else first, right?! We gotta keep up with each other on our Cathe library I can't buy anything else for a while! LOL!

Tasha, thanks, I have been accused of being too nice:eek: But some people just deserve it!

Thank you for looking into the Low Impact premix - now that I know it doesn't have high impact in it I will surely give it a go on a low impact day.

That's funny... all the "check"s regarding Step Blast, and I totally agree! Even I can keep up with the choreography (for the most part, anyway), I just need a bit more practice with it which is completely fine with me because it is so awesome:)

You had to go and bring up the Mojitos - now I want one! It's 5:00 somewhere!

Toni, we all are thinking of you.

Okay, I guess the floor won't sweep and mop itself. Have a great day, ladies!

Good afternoon everyone! This morning I did Back & Biceps. I am debating doing a Leg workout too but I am supposed to go dancing tonight with a friend. I might do it anyway since once I get that leg workout knocked out I will be all caught up.

The Rushfit workout was Strength & Endurance. The closest comparison to it would be Afterburn with more core moves and less "breaks" inbetween exercises. I put breaks in quotations because in Afterburn they aren't true breaks but more like the same exercise repeated to clear the mind before a new one starts. In Rushfit, they just jump right into the next one.

Natasha
The premix with the 30/20 that I did was the Low Impact Slide n' Glide Tabata/no core (45:36 minutes). I thought the Less Impact would still have some high impact moves so I went for this one since it seemed all low impact. Anyway, not a big deal. I think I will just mix and match some of the segments next time.

Jennifer
The ex is...well...still an ex. I think he is a very confused man. One minute he is telling me he has strong feelings and the next he is re-enabling his online profile despite me telling him it bothered me. He says it's just to talk to the people but I really don't know since he is on all the time. It got to the point where I was actually kinda spying on him online to see how often he was on which is very unhealthy. I finally just decided the only way to handle him and to keep my sanity is to keep him in the friend category and to just focus on my workouts. We are still talking via text (not even phone calls) and I haven't explained his friend status because quite frankly with his behavior I don't feel I need to. He rarely makes any effort to contact me first and he has not asked to see me. Therefore, I really need to keep him behind the friend wall. The longer the friend wall stays up...the less I feel for him and the less attractive he becomes. It's sad really because at one point I felt we were really a good fit. However, it was his actions that changed everything and I can't control what other people do -- only what I do.

Have a great day everyone!

it is EARLY Sunday morning - the dogs woke me up and it was my turn to tend to them.

I plan to look into the B&G premix leg blast that someone named Ellie posted about, and then I'll do Intensity - and my Pushups.

Stacie, that's a wise choice to just keep the distance between you and the ex. Actions always speak louder than words. Good for you for not explaining yourself - you are right, you don't have to!

BBL!

Good morning :)

Muscle Max, I am not worthy . Either I was having a "weak" day yesterday, or I forgot how tough that workout is. I will be doing MM and PUB 1X/week, so hopefully I will be able to increase my weight #'s with both (and not feel like a total wuss). There were lovely push-ups in MM. I did the 2X12 sets on my toes with a 10sec rest in between, so I thought I was doing alright. Then the chest flies came, and that took all my power for the next round of push-ups. She does this crazy 4 count down, 2 count up, 2 count down, 4 count up, and repeats this for a few sets. I was like seriously Cathe? You crazy, crazy nut! But I love her so much for it. Definitely something to strive for...I did them on my knee's.

This w/e I went and bought some wonderfully fresh Talapia fillet's. Yesterday morning I marinated it w/lemon, EVOO, sea salt, dill and garlic. As I was handling them, I was so excited by how fresh they were. The flesh had a beautiful pink hue, no smell of fish whatsoever. My hands did not even smell like fish! You had to see me oohh'ing and aahh'ing over them :D. They turned out delish :p

Stacie
Your pics are breathtaking. I'm in awe. I don't live anywhere near mountains like that, so when I see them my mouth drops. Your little guy is such a handsome boy.
How did the dancing go? I wanted to tell you before that both of my DH's best friends, whom I've known since Grade 6, found love on dating sites. One just got married and the other is living with the woman planning on getting married soon :). I think it's great you are doing it. Who knows what kinda hottie you'll meet ;).

Jennifer
Ellie is super cool, she is on/off at my other check-in. She's actually from Italy! How was the premix BTW?
Your fitness challenge class sounds fun! Is it harder than Cathe?
Sorry your dogs woke you up . Does that mean they have to go to the bathroom or need a walk?
Gosh, I hate cleaning. I get jealous of people who can afford to get maid services [insert green-eyed monster here].

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning!
Cycle Max today since I'm feeling muscular tension in my lower back. It was a good workout but I have to be in a cycle state of mind to get into it.

Yesterday I ended up only doing the floor exercises of B&G... the Premix that I was going to do (via Ellie's post) was 49.5 minutes and I didn't want to take that much time when had cardio and pushups to do... maybe later in the week.

Tash, the fitness classes in general as a whole have not been harder than Cathe's classes, not by a long shot. But a few of the exercises have been equally as challenging... the 4-riser exercises were repeated twice and done for a minute each - box jumps, decline pushups, and split jumps.
We also used the TRX suspension thingies to pull up our body weight for biceps curls and for pushups, as well as hold for balance during lunge/Frankenstein kicks and cross back lunges. There were LOTS of breaks because the class was divided into two groups and we switched positions frequently. I wasn't winded except during the box jumps. As you can tell, the exercises were challenging but similar to what we're used to.

It's cool that you chat with Ellie:)

Stacie, the pictures were amazing! What a fantastic trip. Tasha's right, your boy is handsome:)

Have an awesome day, ladies!

Hello everyone. I haven't checked in because I haven't done a workout in over a week  I had to get my sleep regulated and I haven't really been eating too much(stress), so I just decided to skip it. But I got my workout in this morning, kickboxing, and it felt very good to be doing something again.

My mom is still in the hospital and she is still unhappy about it. But right now it is the best thing. She's still pretty out of control in her ability to remain calm and rational. So it's still a waiting game.

Tasha - I plan on doing MM tomorrow. Now you have me scared..LOL!! Oh I love me some Talapia!!

Stacie - Your pics are awesome!! I love beautiful places :)

Jennifer - PUB is TOUGH. I think I'm going to try to do that this week, but with a lower pyrimid than I used to..HA!

HeartyMax - I see you are back at work. I hope that is going well for you. And I see something is going on with your shoulder, but I haven't gone back far enough to determine what exactly. Either way, I hope the shoulder and work are going well.

OK..that's all I have time to catch up on today(at work). But I'll be keeping up this week(kids are at their dad's house all week...PARTY!!)

Hello Ladies. This morning was interval 1-5 of After Burn. I didn't wake up in time to do the full workout. Had to leave home 40 minutes earlier so I can take DS to football practice. DH went to work late so he could pick up DS from practice. DH woke me up around 5:30 and I rushed to get in my workout.

I am going to get a little after work rest. Catch up with everyone later.

Quick check in this morning. Back to my push ups. I did my warm up for PUB then I did my five sets of push ups. I dropped to column 2 of week 3 day 1 for 12,17,13,13, 17 (supposed to be at least 17). Then I skipped the chest section of PUB and moved on to the rest of the work out and skipped the abs. Running to get DS to football practice on time.

Jennifer---how nice of you to want me to give DH all these reminders about TTM for my Bday. I guess a reminder will save me from me angry with him. :D

Toni---my shoulder is doing better.

Tasha---I felt like I needed to join the wimp club as I couldn't manage to get through that last set of biceps. PUB is one tough workout. LOVE the feeling it gives me.

Hi Stacie! I have to go back and look at your pics when I get a chance.

Good morning ladies :)

Yesterday's w/o was a nice 4mile walk w/Bella. I found a new park on our city's website and decided to check it out. Very nice. No one was there, and so that tempted me to *try* a few pull-ups on the monkey bars :D. I knocked out 2 full ones! It felt awesome to do that . In the evening, my "official" Cathe w/o was Hardcore Extreme hi/low intervals. After 50min of that and no a/c in my spare room (that's where I do my thang :D) I decided to call it quits before the Kickmax blasts section. I felt too icky, sweaty, and my legs just wanted to give up. I'm tempted to get Low Max :D. The few intervals I do in HCE really work my legs nicely. I think if I did that w/o 1X/week in addition to LB workouts, my legs would get toned super fast.

Toni
I'm sorry you've been feeling so much stress lately :(. It's good you have been catching up on your sleep. So very important.
I'm sorry about your mom {{{hugs}}}.

Heartymax
Yup, PUB is a wonderful little workout. Never in my widest dreams (or reality for that matter) will I come close to Cathe's #'s in Biceps. With shoulder's I can match her, which surprises the heck out me!

Jennifer
I heard spinning is great for the legs. Do you find that to be true? I know when I did a lot of outdoor biking my quads would get super toned, but that's about it.
TRX suspensions look super awesome! I would def like to try that :)

Have a rockin' day everyone

Good morning ladies!
This morning I did Slide and Glide, then the hams/glutes in the seated workout part, THEN I did my pushups (6 sets); after that I did a few sets each of back and biceps.

I am taking the Fitness Challenge class tonight so I decided to call it quits after that.

Tasha, way to go on the pullups! That is awesome, you totally rock;) The park sounds nice, and of course walking with Bella must have been lovely:)

I bet you're right about your legs getting super-toned doing HCE and a leg workout every week.

As for Cycle, I have to agree... I feel it in my legs but not so much in my booty/thighs. However, I noticed yesterday that my lower buns/thighs did feel like they got a bit of a workout, just not as much as my legs. I think the buns/thighs got it because of the positions that Cathe puts us in... Hoover jumps, and she has us out of the seat a lot.

You had a great workout yesterday - 4mile walk plus HCE; you are on fire!;) You didn't miss out on anything by skipping the drills!

Heartymax good job doing part of Afterburn and also PUB/Pushups! I'm so impressed that you are on column 2 and dropping to that only after your muscle strain - wow-wee, woman! I am on column 1 in week 3; it's going well for me and I'm hitting my numbers. I'm not straining has hard as I was in week 2 so I have added a 6th set and just doing as many as I can instead of going into column 2 (for now).

Toni, Glad to see you are well rested and back to your workouts! Kickboxing is always good:)
I agree on the PUB biceps; I had to start with 8lbs instead of the 10lbs that Cathe starts with... Geesh!

I am sorry your mom is still in the hospital but as you said, it's where she needs to be right now and you know she is getting the help/attention she needs right now. I'm just glad that you are getting back to your routine.

I best get for now - Toodles, and have a great day!

Today was MM. Well, I'm going to have to start eating properly. I haven't been eating much this past week and it really showed in my workout today. I got through it, but I felt really light headed and I hate that feeling during a workout. I'm definately going to eat better today because I want to do IMAX2 tomorrow

Jennifer - your workouts make me tired just reading them :)

Tasha - 2 full pullups is awesome. Jealous over here. I've lost a small bit of strength not keeping up with my workouts, so I'm looking forward to getting that back.

Good moring ladies! Sunday night was a 2mile dog jog. Yesterday was just a walk and this morning I did 30 minutes of STS legs. Thanks for the compliments on the pictures and my son. Yesterday was the first day of school but for some reason, school was only for one hour. I took the day off and after "school" and pictures, I took my son to his 7 year checkup. Afterwards we grabbed a not so healthly lunch at Chuck E. Cheese and then spent several hours playing all the games. We had a lot of fun and it was a good day.

Natasha
I think that's really funny that you were doing pullups at the playground because I have these crazy thoughts of doing pullups and pushups all over the place -- even at the nightclub for some reason. Sometimes I give into the urge and sometimes I don't. One day I was even doing dips for some reason in the elevator at work (and I hate dips!). It's really weird. Anyway, way to go on getting 2 full ones! I still can't even get one out unless it's in the supine position.

By the way, the fish that you got sounds amazing! I haven't attemtped to feed my son tilapia -- it took years to get him to try salmon again. He used to eat so many things as a toddler that he won't even touch now.

Jennifer
I know the B&G premix you are talking about. That's an interesting premix because there are a lot of exercises in it that aren't in the main program. It's the 45 minute or so one right? With the ball? If it's the one I am thinking of, that's a really good one. Did you enjoy it?

So you did all that working out this morning and then you are doing a fitness class tonight? Holy moly!

Toni
When it rains it pours doesn't it? I am so sorry that your mom is back in the hospital and that things are pretty stressful for you lately. Sometimes a week off from exercising is just what the doctor ordered. Hang in there -- things will HAVE to get better soon.

HeartyMax
What an impressive number of pushups even with a sore shoulder! I don't know how you do it!

I had better get back to work so bye for now. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning ladies :)

My Lower back is feeling discomfort again :(. WTH? I don't know what I could be doing to cause it. Perhaps it's the way I put away my weights, or how I pick them up. But that was Sunday w/Muscle Max and it just hit me yesterday . Perhaps it's my walks w/Bella. It's very hilly here, I mean super inclines sometimes, and I have to push Bella (35lbs) in her stroller up hill. You think that could be a possibility?

I went ahead and used yesterday as my Yoga day. I started off with Cathe's Yoga Relax. 15min in and I just was not feeling it. There's something about her Yoga's that I just can't connect with. Not sure, can't put my finger on it. Anyway I popped in TBL Weight Loss Yoga. I friggin' love that workout with all my heart. With my lower back pain and lack of flexibility, I could not really go deep into the poses like I used to when I religiously did Yoga 2X/week. I got a great sweat going anyway and I'm glad I did it. I will be doing that one along with Jillian's Yoga Meltdown, 60min 1X/week.

Stacie
Your day at Chuck E Cheese sounded so nice. I went last year w/Bella but she was still too small I think and just fiddled around with all the games.
It's SO funny how you think about doing push-ups all over the place. I think about that too . How is the nightclub scene these days? I could never get into those...I've always been more of a bar/lounge type gal.

Jennifer

I was so tempted to order a pair of FFW capri's, but as I mentioned I hate ordering pants on-line. It's not an easy feat to get my butt to fit nicely into pants :D.
You've been super busy yourself w/all those fitness classes + Cathe + push-ups . Have you been noticing any changes to your body?

Toni
No worries, you'll get your strength/energy back. Muscle memory is a wonderful thing.
I'm sorry you've been so stressed that it's affecting your eating. I understand completely.

Have a good one!

Happy Hump Day ladies. Today was KPC. I was gonna do IMAX2, but just felt like Kickboxing instead. The workout was good. No light headed feeling today. But that workout is tough. Did not have it in me to finish the very last side of the last combo. I got a few kicks in and called it quits. I did do the Ab section though.

I see the pre order for XTRAIN is over next week. I'm going to go ahead and get it along with TTM. I'm going to start back up with STS next week also. I'm not going to start over again. I'm just going to start with week 2 and go from there. I've done week one about three times now and that's enough for that week I think :).

Stacie - how odd that school was only an hour. I think they do this stuff to mess with the working parents. I'm glad you made a good day of it.

Tasha - I can't get into any of the Yoga. I try, but it never works for me. The back is a tricky thing. I have to be very careful with form. I constantly remind myself to keep the moves out of my back and knees. If I don't I'm no good the next day.

Good morning,
Nothing for me today and I'm not sure what to do tomorrow. I will have to look at the last couple weeks and see what's needed most. I want to do legs for sure, and TTM would take care of that as well as my cardio... humm...

Tasha, I haven't found a Yoga that I really like so I figure I just don't like yoga. I have tried Cathe's Yoga Relax (but not the workout-type yoga); I've also tried misc yoga classes at a gym I used to go to (years ago). I really WANT to like it but it's just too boring for me.
If you can put a finger on what you like about TBL or Jillian's please let me know.

I really haven't noticed any changes since I've done classes at the gym - yet... maybe after a month. I am hoping to firm my buns and thighs with the extra leg work and calorie burns. I'm planning to keep up with the 2x/week at the gym.

However last week both Craig and I noticed that we both have better Upper body muscle definition since starting the pushup challenge:D I guess that's supposed to happen when banging out 120+/week for a couple weeks, plus adding a bit more back and biceps to help support the chest/triceps.

Now that you mention the hills and walking I think you must be right for 2 reasons. One, it started after your walk; plus I think you mentioned tweaked the last time you walked. Two, when I go to Boston to visit my mom we always walk and there are a lot of hills... I remember the day after we walked I was afraid my back was going to go out so I took a muscle relaxer; I didn't want to be down for the count and miss my return flight home.

I hope you're better in no time at all but I am very sorry about your back; that is extremely frustrating! I'm mad for you:mad: especially since you are working on your 5lb goal. I guess now you'll just have to think more about what you eat until you're back to your bad-a$$ self:) I wonder, though, if you could try doing some slow, upper body stuff while sitting down so you don't lose your upper body strength. Of course that's only if it doesn't bother your back.

Stacie, I can just see you now - on the dance floor and then breaking out into a move called the squat jumps with a jack pushup!

School for an hour? That is interesting; I wonder if they just wanted to gently break in the kids for the back-to-school routine - or I guess it was just a picture day? Either way sounds like a really fun day for you and Mr. Man:D

Toni, Good job on MM. Eating right surely has a lot to do with it but you've also been on a bit of a break from working out in general because of everything that's been going on. I hope you are back to good, wholesome meals.

Did Imax2 go okay?! That one requires a lot of energy!

Heartymax, Hello:)

m'Kay, I best get. Have a great day!

Good morning ladies! I was not able to workout last night because right at the time I was about to start, my son woke up, walked into the living room, and "Party's over...time for bed." By the time I got him back settled in bed it was bed time for me too especially since I have been having major headaches. It's the darn TTOTM that causes them. I am going to try to double up on STS discs tonight. We'll see though -- that might be complete madness!

I went ahead and bought the black and purple pair of Ryka transitions. I received them yesterday. I think they look nicer and fit better than the white and coral ones even though those eventually grew on me. I still don't feel like they have the support of the Pegasus but they are a good everyday walking shoes. Last week I tried on a pair of Brooks shoes -- boy were they comfortable. They were even better than the Pegasus! Unfortunately, they are between $40-$60 more than the Pegasus and coupons cannot be used with them which makes them nearly double! I tried to get the blue rykas for two days but the naturalizer website kept giving me an error and now the shoes in my size are gone.

So...the ex is gone again. He disappeared last Saturday. He answered one text and has been MIA since. He took down his online profile too. I have no clue if he met someone and is giving all of his attention to her, if he is triggered, or if he is simply just an a-hole. Regardless of the reason, he is gone. It's bittersweet actually -- he was causing me to really stress out. I still care about him but he is a mess and in turn makes me a mess. I know he is going though a lot and I do feel sorry for him but you can only help people who want help. Hopefully, he will be ok.

Tomorrow is the big day. I will preorder X-train! Hooray! I may even order it tonight if I am still up when my paycheck goes through. I am still eyeballing Body Beast but I need to do more research on it.

Natasha
I am sorry to hear about your back. Back pain is the worst! I hope you can figure out what is causing it. I saw a foam roller at Play it Again Sports last Saturday and thought of you and Jennifer. If only you lived closer I would have totally picked it up for you! I don't know what kind of shoes you wear for walking, but your shoes can cause back pain too. Maybe you could use your high impact shoes for the walks to see if that helps?

The pushup thing is kinda crazy. One day I was doing them at the playground (along with some supine pullups) and Tyler was like "Stop it mom!". He is a great though -- he is super supportive of the working out even though he lectures me about buying too many Cathe DVDs. He was a little disturbed too that one day I did the p90x ab ripper disc since it wasn't Cathe! It's funny how in my life the kids are sometimes more supportive than the adults are.

Toni
I do think the school hates working parents. More than half of the PTO meetings are during the school day (really???). I love the librarian to death, I really do, but she has the habit of asking for help the night before she needs it. It's nearly impossible for a working parent to help her out with such short notice. Even more annoying is that the school daycare just randomly closes on some of the teacher in-service days. I can't really rely on it which is why I have a backup sitter that I use for those days, breaks, and snow days.

Glad to hear that KPC went well for you. Sometimes I think about hanging up pictures of my ex-husband while I do that one -- just kidding (sorta)! :D

Jennifer
The one hour of school was a meet and greet with the teacher. Then afterwards were pictures (which took FOREVER).

Too funny about the Cathe inspired dance moves. Maybe next time I can break out a hip hop repeater too! I actually hardly go to clubs. Last weekend was my first time in over a year. I really don't like that club much but my friend does. It was sad to hear that he is having some health problems. So many bad things are going on with the people in my life that it really makes me sad sometimes. If could help everyone out, I would. Unfortunately, there are many things that I simply cannot change and I have to just enjoy the time I have my friends and family while I can.

On that depressing note, have a wonderful day everyone!

Thank you everyone for the helpful suggestions on what could be causing my lower-back issues. I believe all of you are correct; watching form, using better shoes outside, the hilly inclines. The fact of the matter is, to put it bluntly, my back will forever be screwed (I was going to use a word that started with a F). All those years of physical labor and lifting heavy totes/unloading skids, did a number on it :(. Now all I can do is be extra cautious and pray to the Back Gods ;).

Since my Yoga on Tues, I have been feeling a bit better. Yesterday I did LBB standing portion + STS Legs D6 bonus drills (leg lifts w/ blue firewalker and inner thigh lifts w/5lbs ankle weights). Total time 60min. I felt cheated though since I had to lower my weight #'s and stay shallow on the squats and no weights on the deadlifts :(.

Today will be PUB w/modifications, taking my lower back into consideration.

Jennifer
I only like Power Yoga. That's it, that's all. I can't get into the "spiritual" aspect of the others. My mind just never shuts down. The two I mentioned, I love and have done numerous times. It's more cardio-based, very fast paced, your HR is elevated, you sweat, you burn. Don't get me wrong, you do all the Yoga poses, but it is more athletic in style. Does that make sense? Bob Harper ROCKS with Yoga! He seriously kicks butt! And he's pretty hot too ;)
Yay on more UB muscle definition! I love muscles, they are so sexy on both men and women.
For me to lose 5lbs, I HAVE to focus on calories or else it's a no-go. I can workout until I'm blue in the face, but won't lose an ounce unless my calories are reduced.

Toni
Great job on getting back into your workouts. I love KPC. I should do it more often. It's a wonderful toner for the legs and butt too :D.
I hope you continue to have better days from here on out :)

Stacie
Yes, I agree, schools DO NOT like working parents. That will be me when Bella starts school :(. I feel bad for you.
WHY? WHY do kids have to wake up at night????:mad: Venting here because I go through it ALL THE TIME! I can just imagine how cute your little guy was when he came out though :D.
Your ex is your ex for a reason, that's what I've been told, and it's true. I still talk to my ex from high school, but he lives in PEI which is a Province on the far east coast (THANK GOD!). He's such a wreck sometimes that I feel bad for him, but I'm also glad I'm not with him. I agree, you never stop having feelings though. It truly is a bitter-sweet relationship.
I will p/u a foam roller and see if it helps. Thank you for offering to get it, that was super sweet ;)

Have a great day ladies!

Afternoon....

Today was High Step Training. Holy leg press!! I forgot how heavy that one was on the legs. But I really enjoyed it. It gets all the muscle groups really well plus some not too tough cardio. I also like that one because it uses a fixed barbell...no changing weights. I normally use 30lbs, but I opted for 25 today. That was too light on the legs and back, but just about right for the biceps and shoulders. I have two barbells, maybe I'll set up two the next time. I don't like the idea of not being able to challenge my legs, but then again with all the legs in this workout I really don't see how that would be possible :)

Tasha - good for you with the modifications. I know that is hard when you have been able to do more in the past. Way to stay safe :)

Stacie - I think I am also going to need a new pair of workout shoes soon. I feel like I go through way too many shoes. I buy a new pair about one a quarter and I only wear my workout shoes to workout in...nothing else. They look brand new still when I'm done with them. I can't see throwing them out, which drives my DH crazy cause I have shoes all over the place. It's a terrible cycle...LOL!!
