My dog is a good citizen!

Just braggin' on my dog - she passed the AKC test for Canine Good Citizenship this morning!

Hooray!

We do not call her Tehya anymore. We now refer to her as "The Good Citizen", as in, "Oh, honey? Would you let the Good Citizen outside please? She needs to make poopie."

That the AKC would even deign to acknowledge the existance of my Lab mix is worth the price of the test itself. Hee!

My dearly departed cat received mail frequently. I guess that's what happens when you make a charitable donation in your pet's name (although I had visions of the life he led when we weren't home ... chatting with telemarketers, watching infomercials).

Just make sure that The Good Citizen is available if summoned for jury duty!

Well Emine...I will guarantee you my dogs are not good citizens, Esp. my girl.
She was a stray when we got her or she got us, and now has issues with food. (don't we all) But we live in the middle of the woods so they roam pretty free but usually stay close to home. When she started gaining weight we started restricting her food. In one week she brought home 4 bags of unopened potato chips and a small bag of dog food...Also unopened We never did find out where she got it from but stopped restricting her food and her thievary stopped too. Not Good Citizens!

Congratulations! I'm afraid the only contest my babies would or could win would be the most misbehaved beagles ever in history! Ha, ha!
