I'm so sorry your family is going through this. I have been in your shoes and know the anxiety and stress you and your family are feeling right now. I will definitely keep your family in my prayers.
I recently went through this with my dad. He, unfortunately, didn't make it. He he had lung cancer and never smoked (and was young). I'm so sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Wow, Marsha, that had to have been really hard! I am so sorry.
I know many of you have gone through cancer scares or have lost someone you love to cancer. It is just so terrible.
Maybe good news.......this didn't officially come from the doctors..they were unable to see my dad today because of all the testing he was undergoing...but the bronchoscopy showed nothing in his lungs, so the mass is on the outside. That could be good or bad, dunno. Tomorrow 6am the doctor comes, but unfortunately, I will be at work. I hope he doesn't have to hear bad news! His sister will be there though, thank goodness....
Please be strong and have faith. I too will pray for you and your family. Remember that God will not give us anything more than we can handle and WE are all here for you. Hugs and stay strong vibes headed your way.
Janice - I'm so sorry about what's going on with your parents. I'll be thinking of you and and your family and checking for updates.
I just lost my aunt to lung cancer in July. She was misdiagnosed and they didn't find it until it was way too late. I hope that things go better for your family.
Janice Im so sorry about your dad. I just recently went through this with my own father. He had a kidney removed due to cancer and is still recovering ( 3 weeks post-op) The doctors have been wonderful with him. Even tho his prognosis isnt good-- they have been great to him. Esp my mom who needs lots of questions answered. Your whole family will be in my prayers and if you ever want to vent--talk--ask please feel free to email me.
