My dad may have cancer! :(

Ok, now they are talking lymphoma again. He is going for a biopsy tonight, but the doc said he may be able to leave the hospital tomorrow. The PET scan showed tumor masses in both armpits and in the left abdomen....three places. I think their best guess now is Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Will update tomorrow..:)

Hi Janice, My prayers are with you.

I've been there before. My husband had Hodgkin's many years ago. Depending on the stage that it is caught, it is actually curable. My husband has been cured for many years now. They say if he gets cancer again, it will not be a recurrence of the Hodgkin's he already had. He was in stage 2. He was really young which was definitely an advantage for him. He went through chemo and radiation with only a sore throat from the radiation.
 
Janice I'm so sorry to hear this. You will be in my prayers. My dad had lymphoma, so I've been through this too. It was tough, but what made it easier was knowing where he was going.

Again...my continual prayers are with you and him both.
