Pam you are so funny don't drink right before the meeting or you'll be like me, almost crying Lol!!
I have try both of those wines, there good but I get headache:confused: oh maybe I drink to much:confused: I think I would like to build my taste for the red wine but not to strong or bitter? you know more smooth.... well I don't know why! because I can drink Tequila with lemon and salt:D hooray!!! there is the Mexican!!!
I don't know about HST and HSC because this last one its a killer workout...I"M SORE:confused::eek: I have done STS twice in a row but believe me right now I don't want to see any weights:p
Ok I've download the fitnessfreak rotation on my calendar too and I don't have a rest week, its going to be perfect the last day of the rotation its June/12 a Saturday and then I have a few days off before going to Mexico. I won't take them off but I won't have to miss any thing ha?!!
You know what I didn't go to the ceremony:confused: I hope we don't get in trouble... I don't think so because Rachel doesn't move to the next one she'll still a brownie:eek:

Kelly you had Snow!! we have cold and wind in the middle of summer I don't even want to get in the pool when I take my girls:D its sooo cold. Since I have been doing sts rotation's I haven't done legs & gluts that much but I know its a good one. Good keep your motivation up high!! we will follow you!!
I'm sure you will have fun shopping for you wedding.
Oh yes I'm sore... but good sore!! You know what I couldn't go to the girls scout so I didn't bake anything:eek:

I know I was very pleased surprise that I was doing good!!! but believe me I can feel it today! and I don't want to see any weights in my workout today hahaha!!!!

Pam you are right 40/20 its a ankle killer and I need to take it easy still I miss it but I'm good!!! I did Rhythmic Step instead but that one its not easy either but I did good. I did not wanted to do CM because the past 2 days I've done it...
Glad you had good night so you was ready to kick some booty today!! You know what last night I was so tired that I really didn't have any trouble sleeping in I didn't even felt when my DH get in bed:confused: I woke up because I needed go to the restroom, ouch !!! then its when I found out that my calves, legs and the whole shebang it was going to be sore today.Lol

Cheryl I hope you are doing ok we haven't heard from you!!! don't work to too much! we miss you!!

Well instead of coming here yesterday I watched our Canucks lose to the Chicago Blackhawks. Oh well now they are out, but Montreal beat Pittsburg so you never know they may make it to the Stanley Cup. Yesterday I did STS Disk 20 Legs. I was going to do Low Max tonight but I didn't sleep at all last night so that didn't happen.

Janie Your dog is so cute. Isn't is funny that you think you know what you want but you come home with something completely different. My husband thought he wanted a dog so we go to the pet store and come home with a cat!!!!! Rolly looks right at home in your pictures. It will be fun getting to know each other.

Kelly I hate OT. It really messes up your workouts doesn't it. I just started the Get Ready for Summer Rotation on Saturday. I was going to workout tonight but I haven't been sleeping well so took today as my day off.

Eunice OK I will be your forecast.....I did disk 20 Legs yesterday and my butt is really sore LOL. Sounds like your ankle is doing better. The green band was hard enough.....I would hate to have to use the blue one. I saw you on that video. It looked like it was a lot of fun to be there. One day....maybe if she comes to Seattle I could go.

Pam 40/20 I only have done that one once.......it kinda scares me...:eek:.

Eunice OK, we'll have to find you some wines that don't give you headaches! If you want to try some reds some good choices to start with are Merlot or something like a beaujolois (not sure if that is spelled right!) You should go to a wine shop and have them recommend one because if you are randomly picking it's really easy to pick up something that is terrible. I think HST and HSC are both killer! HST has one-legged triceps dips that are killer, sit and stands and hover squats! OUCH!:confused: The timing for the fitnessfreak rotation is going to be perfect for your trip to Mexico! You aren't going to any of these border towns that are having all of the violence, right? You need to stay a long way away from there!!

Rhythmic step is definitely not easy either - I guess I fooled you into that one because you said you were looking for something easy...OOps! :p It has a very high fun factor though!

I loved the San Diego video!

Cheryl Sorry about your Canucks losing and that you are having trouble sleeping :( that is no fun at all. I rarely have trouble sleeping, but on the days that I do I am miserable.

Hope your butt is feeling better today! Was it one of those days when you had to ease yourself down into a chair and then ease yourself up again? :rolleyes: I've done 40/20 about 5-6 times now and it still scares me :confused: but at least not as much as it used it. The second time I that it was on my calendar I had trouble sleeping the night before because I knew it was coming! The first time I did it I was glad I made it through without throwing up :eek: My face stays beat red for about 30+ minutes after I'm done with it!

This morning was Boot Camp from the Intensity series. I haven't done that one in awhile and it was my most favorite workout for awhile. It's tough but very fun. Eunice, did you see that HSC is on the calendar for Saturday? Will you do it again, or something else? I am so happy it's almost the weekend, I'm having another crazy week. That's one of the best things about my workouts - stress relief! Hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

Yes Janie I'm there in different shots;) there is one were I'm sitting on the dinner table I have a gray jacket, and then when I'm working out with a white top and doing shoulder press, and other one with a black out fit and the last shot were Cathe and other girls are flexing I'm there next to Cathe... OMG I think I was so greedy because I took every change to pose next to Cathe:D soooo much fun!!!

Cheryl your back!! well I don't know anything about the game that you are watching,but good that you are enjoying the game though... the only game I can watch its soccer when Mexico play in the World Cap:confused: I know I'm bad.

No I won't go to the border I'm going far south Mexico, Cuernavaca Morelos and Taxco Guerrero, I can't wait to go there that was were my Father was born Taxco:D They have Silver Mines I'm saving some money to get something pretty!!! and eat all the good ( bad) food...
We have HSC this Saturday I'm planning on doing it again! I think when I get back to do HiiT workout I'm going to be the one throwing up:eek: I'm so out of shape!
Pam have you see the movie Precious?! Its so sad and so bad everything in one movie, I was dreaming about it Yuck! I can believe there is people like this kind OMG.:mad:

Today my ankle wasn't in the best behave" I know I'm crazy the therapist gave me the ok to do step :pbut easing up into, not doing 65 or 75 min of it so today I wasn't feeling good. .. I went to the gym did 45 Elliptical and got home and did the weight and Core part of Boot Camp, I sweat like crazy...
I hope your day went easy, one more day and you'll have the weekend yayay what are you doing this weekend?! another mini vacation?! maybe ha!!!

Cheryl, Good job on Legs, those are so hard on me.

Yes, we thought we new what we wanted in a dog but got something entirely better. Serendipity perhaps? So glad for Rolly. He's doing very well, and still in training (potty mostly) but a very smart doggie. He should be up to par in about a week or two. I love this little guy.

Pam, Great job on Boot Camp, one I like a lot as well.

Debbie, It's so nice to see a familiar face. I thought that was a great link too. You are welcome here any time!

Eunice, I thought I saw you in the link. You are such a beautiful and in super shape person. You truly know what you are doing when it comes to health and fitness. I' would have hogged pictures with Cathe too. LOL:D;) It looks as though you did indeed have a lot of fun.

Hope your ankle feels better soon. Hey, slow down and let yourself heal.:rolleyes: You are a Hardcore workout person for sure.;)

Debbie Welcome to the lurkers area! I think most of us are starting your Get Ready for Summer rotation next week, some have started it already. It looks great, thanks so much for posting it!

Eunice I didn't notice all of those shots of you in the video, I'll have to check it out again. I did notice that you were in a lot of the pictures that Cathe posted on the blog though :p
I hope you weren't cursing me all day for that Rhythmic step selection! I really love that one but it does take some time to get it down. I don't think I have seen Precious...who is in it and what is it about? I don't like movies that make me sad or mad usually, I like the sappy feel good movies.

Sorry to hear that your ankle wasn't doing well, I hope it wasn't the Rhythmic Step :confused:! You are definitely not easing into it though! It sounds like you did the right thing with your workout yesterday. No mini vacation this weekend! A friend from Austin and his wife and baby are in town so we are having them and a few other people over for dinner tonight. I think there are going to be 12 of us altogether so it should be fun. They are really fun people so I know we will be doing a lot of laughing. Then we are hoping to get a lot of skiing in this weekend. My youngest SS has a school trip to Busch Gardens for the day tomorrow so he has to be at the school by 4:30 am and then we have to pick him up at midnight :rolleyes: yuck. Next weekend is the next mini vacation :D That is if there is wind!

Janie So glad you are enjoying Rolly so much. I don't think we pick them - I think they pick us!

This morning was Step Moves. I still need to do that one a couple more times to get it down but it was a fun and not quite so intense workout. And now the weekend is almost here. One more day to get through! It's my work at home day though, so that always makes it better. Have a great Friday everyone. Debbie I hope you'll hang out with us more! Joey and I did TBS as usual using heavy weight. Took Rolly out for an hour long fast paced walk.

Pam, I think your right about our animals, they do pick us. We are soooooooo.:D

Good job on Step Moves, you'll get it very soon. Isn't it fun? I love that workout.

Janie You have 2 cats right? How are they enjoying Rolly? :p

I thought I'd post a picture of my current project in progress. This is what I did last night in my class. This is the before firing picture:


next week it will be fired and then the next week it should be slumped. Hopefully it will turn out well. Those things that look like springs are glass and we learned how to make them last night. Pretty cool huh?

Now I better get back to work :D

Rolly is on the left and Molly is on the right. They look very similar, don't you think?

Pam, Rolly likes to chase the cats, but when he catches up to them I think he just wants to play. We're working on him not to do that. He and the cats will be just fine in time.

I love your glass fusion. I can see you making a beautiful Bird bath one day. It would be so beautiful like this bowl. Wow, I'm so impressed with it! This is sooooo cool:cool:.

What dose slumped mean? How did you make the little curly cues?

Pam Yeah it sucked that they lost, but we are used to it. I have learned not to get my hopes up at all. My butt is feeling better but I am still having problems sleeping. I now have a prescription for an estrogen patch so hopfully that will help with the night sweats and hot flashes. I had a hard time at work sitting all day with a sore butt LOL. I have to do 40/20 more, but gosh darn I don't see it in Debbie's summer rotation. Pam I liove your bowl. It is so nice that you are able to do your own ideas and then have something unique.

Debbie I see you are a lurker here. I just want to let you know that I am enjoying your get ready for summer rotation. However I kinda fizziled out at the end with the Boot Camp circut upper body this morning.

Eunice I'm back. I was tired the past several days so wasn't on here. Disk 20 was good, I know it was a good workout when I am really sore after especially the booty. That is where I need the work LOL. Yes I did see the woman from Canada. She travelled a ways to go to see Cathe. Take care of your ankle. You don't want to overdo it and then be sidelined again.


Janie Rolly is so cute. He does look a lot like Molly. Like Pam said it is the animal that picks up. Dogs are so funny when they chase cats around. Pretty soon they will be best buds.

Janie I love the pictures of Rolly and he looks a lot like Molly. Before I read the captions I thought the were both Rolly! It looks like he is settling right in and getting quite spoiled already!

Slumping in fusing is the shaping process. You fire the piece flat, then it goes back in the kiln in a mold and 'slumps' into it. The curly cues were made by melting a bunch of glass in a flower pot with a hole in the bottom. The kiln that you use for these also has a hole in the bottom, so you raise the flower pot up on boards with the hole of the flower pot above the hole in the kiln, and they had the kiln up on a high rack. Then you take some tongs and reach in a grab some of the hot glass and pull it out the bottom of the holes and wrap it around a steel pole. You just keep turning the pole and pushing forward. It is so cool!

Cheryl Sorry to hear you are still having trouble sleeping, hopefuly that estrogen patch will help. I was getting night sweats for awhile, but I would just sleep right through them. I would wake up in the morning soaking wet. :confused: I've been lucky and not had a lot of hot flashes. The first time I had one I was on a ski slope and had no idea what was going on. I kept feeling like I was going to be sick - yuck.
How funny, I bet it was really hard sitting all day with a sore butt! Next time you do that one you'll have to take a pillow with you! :p I'm having fun with the fusing. I've had my kiln for over a year now so figured it was high time I do something with it!

This morning was high Step Challenge. I haven't done this one all the way through in so long. I was doing the hardcore extreme a lot for awhile and it has most of this workout in it, but it sure is a good one. My shoulder is still not cooperating fully so I couldn't do all of the lateral raises and had to quit early on the overhead presses, but it's getting there. I love the ab section of this workout. I've download the rotation on my calendar I think they got over lap I haven't check the list but I see that there is 2 workout in one day? My ankle feel better today... good! Noooo I don't want to be sidelined :confused: Its enough been taped all up on my chin and calve, its so hot but I have to wear long pant because of it:D:mad:Lol!!

Eunice I looked at that movie description and you're right, that doesn't sound like one I will watch. I hate to have a movie make me depressed. I'm glad you were feeling better yesterday and that you had fun with step moves! I am making another plate now. I fired it yesterday and will slump it today. We are getting together on Tuesday night for one of my girlfriend's birthdays and I am planning to give this one to her if it turns out ok.

I loved HSC yesterday but I am definitely feeling it today! The surprising thing is that my calves aren't sore :confused: I'm surprised but that, but maybe there was just no pain left to hand out by the time it got that far down on my body since I have plenty everywhere else :p Between HSC and skiing yesterday afternoon OUCH! Thank goodness today is a rest day! We had such a fun afternoon and evening. We went to the lake with my DSD and everyone skiied really well. Then we came home and had dinner and played the Wii dance game with the kids. It was a lot of fun! I woke up hungry yesterday too Eunice - my stomach was growling while I was doing my workout :confused: My cereal wasn't as good as your breakfast looked like it was though! Have a great Sunday, hope you slept a little later today Eunice!
