This morning I did Mindy Mylrea Action packed step. I always enjoy her workouts. I also just noticed that I am no longer a member, I have graduated to Catheite Wow! :D

I am hoping doing a rotation with other people will keep me in line with the workouts. Right now my back is really sore so I am working on stretching to get it better.

Cheryl Sorry about your back. Those aches and pains are so frustrating! I hope it feels better soon. It sounds like you are doing the right things.

Eunice Did you disappear on us again?!

I am almost done with my active recovery week. I did Tracey Staehle High Intensity Step mix this morning. Another of my favorites. I'm ready to follow a rotation again and not have to think about what workout to do though :D
Have a great Friday ladies. It is a beautiful warm sunny day here and we are hoping to get some water skiing in this weekend. I also go to drive the convertible today AND the yellow pollen is about finished so life it good!:p

Hi Pam I don't know if I like Step/jump/pump or not :(maybe I have to give it another try!! heryl I'm glad to hear that you got some nice weather for the weekend We have a sunny warm day today I hope its the same for tomorrow, I'm going with my DD's to the Joshua National Park (I think)with the girls scout!

Thumper I love Meso 3 maybe you are getting bore because its taking to long to finish this rotation, but normally if you are lifting heavier you'll need that rest time in between, I was lifting heavier and I did not felt that the rest was to long I thought that it was perfect:D Anyways good call doing 4DS.

Pam I'M IN FOR MAY ROTATION....I'm excited about all of us doing the fitnessfreak rotation I really hope my ankle get better for next week, I don't know it just feel funny I don't even know how to explain what I feel, its if my whole leg got weak, I just don't like what I feel It make me remember when I injured my knee, it did not hurt at all but it was a funny, weir feeling:mad: I thought that I was walking normal but maybe not because my hip flexors, quads, hamstring, are sore and I hated... I really hate this feeling:mad:

You have been busy doing lots of fun stuff:D I don't have anything else but Cathe I'd donated all the other dvd's to the library here on base.I'm jealous you have been working out and I can't (I'm crying out loud) :confused::confused:

Well today I'm just going to pay some bills, go to the grocery store to get some ingredients for a new recipe I want to try "Chicken Curry" and "Veggie Ratatouille" I got this from Oxygen Magazine I hope there good, and do some laundry and in between elevate my leg on the couch:eek::eek:

I'm almost done packing, just trying on the clothes I've decided to take along the cruise with me to see if they still fit. I've been packing my bags for 2 months. LOL:D. My body changes from one month to the next, so I thought I'd better try them on again.:rolleyes:

Day after tomorrow folks. Yeah! Still scared/concerned of getting sea sick though. We'll see.:confused:

Pam Back pain is fustrating. I have walked to the train station the last few day instead of taking the bus and the walking seems to help instead of all that sitting. I was training someone to take over part of my work and that takes a lot of time so I haven't been getting my lunch hour walks in. It is feeling better today so I will see about doing a workout tomorrow morning. It was a really nice day here today as well but that @#&# rain is in the forecast again. I am leaving for Ottawa Sunday morning and it is cold there and raining. I have no idea what I should bring because by the end of the week it could be really hot. :confused:


Eunice Step blast in one of my favorites too. I haven't done it since I got STS cardio. I really like Meso 3 too but I started the STS rotation in January and with not being able to do it in February and travelling for work next week the three month rotation was stretching into 5 months. I will try it again in the fall. I guess I missed what happened to your ankle but I hope it gets better soon so you can do the May rotation with us.

Janie Two more sleeps....... I am sure that you won't get seasick, but if you do there is an infirmary where I am sure they have lots of gravol LOL. The ships they build these days are more like floating hotels and you can't feel the motion of the ship so I am sure you will be fine.

Good morning ladies! Hope you don't mind another lurker joining in. :)

My name is Kelly, I'm 29 and from Denver, CO. I'm engaged to a wonderful man named Thomas and am the proud mom of two cats - a 4 year old Siamese named Maya, and a year old tabby named Bella. I've been working out with Cathe for probably close to 3 years now, started with the ones on Fit TV, and now have a decent collection of the actual DVD's. Finally got my consistency going again once my schedule changed in January. Now if I could just get my eating more consistant, we'd be doing well LOL :p

I my goals really are to lose about 25 lbs and firm up. Trying to do so as much as possible for my wedding in just over a year's time.

I hope you are all having a great weekend so far, mine's been very quiet. Fiance is at soccer (he coaches a U-12 competetive team) for a game today, I'm puttering around the apt doing laundry, tidying, etc.

Started my morning off with some brekkie and Cardio and Weights. I just recently got the Intensity series and am loving it! The music in them is so much fun! :D Hoping to get in something else tonight too, maybe some full body weights and yoga? We'll see.

Wow, that ended up being really long LOL

Looking forward to getting to know you all!
 
Hi Kelly, welcome aboard. We do not mind another lurker joining in at all. I see you have two cats, we have three. A 10 year old tabby named Taylis, a 8 year old Maine Coon named Tigger and a 2 year old tabby named Tango. It seems a few of us have cats. I know a few people are having busy weekends and it may be a bit quiet around here for a few days. I am with you in getting the eating consistant. I am good for a few days and then everything goes haywire :confused: I will be away all of next week because I am travelling for work but I am hoping to get internet access if the price is reasonable to stay in touch. I also love the Intensity Series as well. Cardio and Weights is one of my favs. There are a few of us who want to start Fitnessfreaks Get ready for Summer Rotation in May. Would you like to do it with us?

Hi Cheryl! how its your back?! hope you feeling better today did you have rain today?! its crazy we are melting over here its HOT in the 90s. I know how you feeling because I haven't be able to do what I like to do the most... workout:mad::mad: What a shame in Wednesday I was running late to school so I ran in the house to get what I forgot... I'd step on a rock twisted my ankle it did not hurt at all until after noon so now its still not good I haven't be able to workout all this week :mad: it was my recovery week though I hope I get better by Monday, today we took my DD with the girls scout for a short hike so its a little bit sore and swelling.

Janie are you ready yet!!! how excite it, you almost there, we are going to miss you have fun and bring lots of good memories... who is going to take care of Mr Joey?! :p LOL yesterday I saw a couple in the Commissary walking holding hands, so cute I thought about you and your Joey so cute:D:D

Where is Pam?! hahaha she is having fun water skiing and driving her convertible!!! I'm sure having fun with out me...lol:p

Hi Kelly! welcome to the Lurkers!! I'm Eunice I'm married to Kenny have 4 daughters and live in the dessert Twentynine Palms Ca. When its your wedding?! I bet you are excited with all the wedding plans! hope we can heard more from you, we usually post every day what workout we did, how it went, the past 3 months there was 2 of us doing the same rotation so we share, push each other, and get happy for each other results. So its helpful been here, last week I hurt my ankle so I really hope I'm good to go this Monday Pam and I going to start the March Rotation, I know PAm its ready and all physique about it, I'm too.:confused:

Eunice, my wedding is April 29, 2011, so it's thisclose to the year mark LOL It's been so much fun - the looking at dresses, flowers, gathering ideas, etc. :D
Wow, 4 daughters? How old are they? That's got to be fun LOL

Are you doing a specific rotation right now, or just to each their own? I am definitely game for the Get Ready for Summer rotation! I like how she gives the general rotation - definitly helps someone like me who doesn't have all of the DVD's yet know what to do that particular day.
Yeah, my biggest problem with eating is just snacking. For the most part, what I choose for my meals is healthy, though there are definitely days where it doesn't happen. I don't really fry anything, it's pretty much always baked, I just love to eat LOL

Today was good though, we brought ice cream drumsticks for his girls game today as a treat for tieing their last game, and resisted having one of the ones left over (huge feat for me, I love ice cream), dinner is in the oven, laundry is almost done.

So as a whole:
Breakfast: 2 slices ww toast w/ sugar free jelly, coffee w/ creamer
Snack: Banana
Lunch: Lean Cuisine General Tso's chicken, an apple
Dinner: Chicken baked w/ Shake n Bake, green beans, and Pasta Side (for the fiance, not me :D )
Exercise: Cardio & Weights

Kelly Welcome! So nice to 'meet' you! We are another 2 cat household. I have a black persian named Shorty and a cream point himalayan named Butters. I love them to death, they are just so much fun! I live in North Carolina and am married with 3 step children - 2 boys (13 and 18) and a girl (about to be 16 in 2 weeks). They spend 1/2 their time with us and 1/2 with their mother. What a great time in your life, planning for your wedding! We'll be looking forward to pictures of all of the preparations!

Cheryl How is your back doing? I hope all of your stretching is helping it. I have been very lucky to have not had any real back issues so far in my life. I have seen how disruptive back problems can be!

Janie Today is the big day! We will be thinking about you! Hope you have a fabulous trip! I am starting Cathe's March rotation tomorrow. Eunice and I were going to start together but I'm worried about her ankle. It sounds like she needs to rest it for awhile longer.

Eunice Your description of your ankle does not sound good at all but it sounds like you are doing the right thing and keeping off it and resting it. We'll play it by ear on March rotation plans. I'm going to start into it tomorrow, but depending on how your ankle is doing maybe I'll start over when you are ready to start. Either that or you just keep resting that ankle to be ready for the fitness freak rotation.

I'm back Eunice! Friday night we went over to a neighbors for a drink and then had some friends over for dinner. Yesterday we got up early and went to the big furniture store. My trip a few weeks ago was a scouting trip and I took my husband yesterday to show him the things that I liked. We didn't like any of the same things so now we are back to square one! :rolleyes: Then we came home and got the kids and went water skiing. My ski is still broken and the part that we ordered won't be here til late this week so I am having to use DH's ski right now. Once my ski is fixed I don't get to make any excuses for my skiing though :p Right now I can blame the ski :D

Kelly Wow, that looks like a very healthy day of food. I don't think I could post my meals for a day :confused: I do pretty well with eating whatever I want and just watching my portions. I hardly ever eat dessert though and try to make fruit my snack.

Yesterday was my rest day so my exercise was walking around the huge furniture store and water skiing. This morning I did the first 2/3 of Body Max (no upper body) and the abs from LIC. Now I'm going to go for a bike ride. We are having another beautiful day, but it's cooler than yesterday (only a high of 70),so probably no water skiing today. Eunice, I'll check in with you tomorrow to see how that ankle is doing, but don't push it if you need to rest it longer! Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Hi Everyone,

Well I am in Ottawa now until Friday when I fly home. I got here around 4:00 p.m. eastern time. I got to the hotel and went for a walk and stopped at Subway for a roasted chicken sub and picked up some things for breakfast. I am going to do travel fit tomorrow morning before I head to my training session.

Eunice My back is doing a lot better now. We had rain on Saturday again and I am not sure how it was today since I left really early this morning. I am not sure as to how the weather is to be here for the next week either. It was nice when I went for my walk this afternoon. How is your ankle doing?

Kelly I am not doing a specific rotation right now. Too many things have gotten in the way. This trip is just one of them. I will however be doing the Get ready for summer rotation.

Pam My back is a lot better. The stetching did help. I just need to keep it up. I never had any back problems until we moved about 8 years ago. Because my husband has really bad back problems I was the one doing the lifting and I guess it was too much and one day my back went out and down I went to the floor. It has never been the same after that. Sounds like you had a fun weekend. Only a high of 70......Oh I wish it was that warm here :(

Not such a good day yesterday, but what are you gonna do? Back at it today, and am looking forward to a good day today. Had a nice quiet day yesterday. Had my confirmation class in the am, then had a FREE 90- min massage in the pm. One of our friends is going to school and needed a body to be donated LOL - heaven! Then watched the Avalanche play last night - crazy win, but a win nontheless.

Yesterday:
Breakfast: Mini bagel w/ ff cream cheese, coffee w/ creamer
Lunch: 1/2 can light soup, Sun Chips
Snack: Strawberries
Dinner: Ravioli, garlic toast, salad
Snack: Chocolate mint drumstick :mad:
Exercise: Drill Max Mix and Max premix, Muscle Endurance


Started off with some Imax 2 this morning, and am feeling good afterward. My hammies are sore from the weights yesterday, but it's a good pain. Gotta go get my lunch together and finish getting ready for work.

Cheryl I hope you have a good week in Ottawa. My dad was born there but I have never been there. Am I remembering correctly that you are starting a new job? I still haven't done travel fit, how do you like it?
I'm glad to hear that your back is doing a lot better!

Kelly We are just outside of Raleigh in Apex, NC. It's about an 45 minute-1 hour drive from Camp Lejeune. A free massage!!!! You are so lucky! :p When we were in New Orleans in March we got 30 minute foot massages and that was just like heaven!
I have Imax 2 on the schedule for tomorrow. I love that one (except for the hops on one leg :rolleyes:). I was worried about it because the last time I tried to use that disc it wouldn't load in my dvd player, but I cleaned it and it seems to be working fine now.

Eunice I'm anxious to hear how that ankle is doing today. I hope it is getting better.

This morning I started Cathe's March rotation with Muscle Endurance. I have had that disc for quite awhile but I think that is only about the 3rd time I've done it. It's a good one! I do the abs from it alot, but not the rest of it. I did get out for a bike ride yesterday. I did 15 miles but it was really tough because it was really windy! I hope that we get wind that next weekend when we are scheduled to go back to the Outer Banks for the rescheduled kite-boarding lessons. Too bad this weekend hadn't been the weekend for it because it was windy both days :confused: Happy Monday everyone!

Hi Pam, glad to heard that you are back, sound like you know how to have fun! I guess we are bore people, or not much friend either, we spent the weekend by our selfs the girls, my DH was so tired this weekend that he slept in, at least try too:p :p
We went with the scouts to the Joshua NP it was fun only because of my nasty ankle I couldn't really enjoy but it was fun. We watch the movie Alice in the wonderland, the little one liked I did too.. so what are you looking for at the furniture store?! Funny husband's some times they don't want to fight that's why the agree with everything and some others they don't want to give up:confused:. How far are you from the lake ar were you go for water skiing?! that must be fun, I've never done it before:rolleyes:
You did so good with you Active Recovery week you did something every day, good for you...

Hey Cheryl How was travel fit?! that's the one I want to take when I go back home in June. I hope I have time to do it I'll be there only for a week but I think I'll gain a lot of weight:confused::mad: Good to know that your back its better;)


Pam I did good it did not hurt I didn't use weight on the lunges though but everything fine I'm going to wait for the cardio I won't do Imax2 tomorrow, what do you think I should do?! I've done it before and I love it my shoulders are burning who knew that those 5# could be a killers:p

Eunice You are not boring, that sounds like a really nice weekend. Joshua NP looks like it was a nice trip, I liked the turtles! Sorry your ankle held you back though.
We are looking for new bedroom furniture. We have a queen sized bed but want a king because DH is such a bed hog :p We did finally find a set that we both like yesterday but we came home and measured our room and think it's too big :mad: It will work if we only get 1 nightstand, but the biggest issue that I have with our current set if that we only have 1 nightstand :confused: So not sure what we are going to do now.

We are 10 miles from the lake where we ski. It is really nice, especially because the kids like to go with us. When you come to NC to drink wine with me we will go skiing too :p

I'm so glad that you did well with your workout and it didn't hurt, but I think you are very smart not to do IMAX2. If it doesn't bother your ankle, maybe you can just go for a nice walk tomorrow?! Isn't that funny how hard ME was with the light weights?! When she said 20# for curls I thought it would be a piece of cake, but I thought they would never end! :rolleyes:

Cheryl I hope you get to have some fun on that trip too. I know what a drag business trips can be if you are there alone with no buddies to hang out with. I used to travel a lot for work and I don't miss it a single bit.

I need to go get busy on dinner now. You guys were making me feel guilty with your meal reports, so we're having grilled tuna with mango salsa for dinner tonight after make your own pizza last night :eek:

Hi Pam nice!!! a bedroom set I love that;).. looks like you'll need a big room:pIts funny because in our case I'm the bed bed hog hahaha, the first time my DH and I slept together I found him on the other side of the bed, he say that I was pushing him over, now he got over with because our bed its queen size and I still fallow him at night I guess he got use too. That is so cool 10 miles away from the lake, definably I have to come some day to visit you, wine, water skiing wow that is on the list:D
I think tomorrow I'll stay in my baby school to help out and then I'll do the walking on the treadmill at the gym I'm going to take my new weighted vest;) I know ha I was thinking the same when Cathe call for the 20 # barbell for biceps, crazy ha!
Oh!!! that Mango salsa sound delicious, did you see what Linda did last weekend?! she is from FB but she post pictures of her trip to this place were she learned how to make pizza OMG they look so good!!! I was drooling!

Cheryl are you in Canada?! well have some fun by the way! How its your back today?! Better, I hope so!

I'm cooking dinner too, we will have beef with grill "pasilla rajas" and tomatoes, onion. Brown rice and veggies that I have from yesterday...
