Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

The nerve damage in my right leg is really acting up today along with my knee. I started and stopped several DVDs before I settled on 4DS LIS. I repeated it a couple of times. Thankfully tomorrow will be my day off from exercise.

Hi girls,

I did JS new dvd = 70 min today. I liked it, nothing new. Not crazy about about the set, I like her outdoor settings/mom living room. I think the set is boring looking :( I will not count the premixes on that dvd, they are not premixes, IMO!

Laura, sorry to hear about your right leg acting up. Hope you feel better soon.

This morning I did Ice Chiseled Lower Body Blast, 48 minutes, 330 calories. I used mostly 12# dumbbells and sometimes 15#. That is all for now. I sort of wanted to do the floor work from Kelly Coffey Split sessions with the firewalker band and a Sarah Beth Yoga I was looking at last night. Her Yin Yoga is the practices that are held for long periods of time. I hurried to shower and get out and vote mid morning. I still ended up standing outside. It is cool today and drizzling so I was glad I had my hooded Nike jacket in the car. It really did not take too long though. My granddaughter is coming this evening and staying the night here since we are close to her school and she has cheer practice tonight. It is always nice to have her here.

Belinda, too bad the workout was nothing new. It is nice to find something a bit different.

Laura, I am sorry that your leg and knee is hurting. A rest day will be good.
 
This morning I did RWH low impact two and then workes on a couple combos from Diedra tapless step. Been so long I've forgotten everything!

Doreen, I keep pulling out workouts that I have not done in so long that I have pretty much forgotten the choreography. Tracey that I did the other day was somewhat a relearning experience. I put it in a few days before thinking I would do a shotter premix but I had so much trouble I waited till I could get the breakdown in as well. I kept it out to do it a few times. It is the same way with add o e of Amys.
 
I am tired today. We stayed up till after midnight watching election coverage an got up at 5:30 this morning. It took awhile to get in the workout. I did Kelly's Strength and Stamina bonus step workout, 23 minutes, 180 calories. I then did Kelly's Cardio Blast Athletic Step 35 minutes, 255 calories. Total time was 57 minutes and calories burned 428. My neck and shoulder pain is worse. I called the doctors office and asked how the bruising and pain should last from that biopsy experience. I did read about others that had biopsy's in the neck area that had problems afterward that lasted for weeks. They just told me to put heat on it and give it time. I took more Advil yesterday than I care to take. I have been icing and using heat from the start. It really set it off when I lugged one of those 35 packs of water from Walmart into the car car, and refrigerator. I felt it in my neck when I picked it up and put it in the cart. So, I am thinking that is why it is worse. Those are usually not a problem for me though.
I find Kelly's workouts are not too hard to get right into. The choreography is not so difficult that I find myself repeatedly losing my step on new ones or ones that I have not done in quite awhile. She has some nice leg definition. It seems even more so in her newer workouts. I really want her new ones that are almost ready. I kept thinking something would come up and I would find an excuse to pre-order. Christmas is coming. I bet Cathe's will come in somewhere close to Christmas. I hope my latest problem is cleared up by then.

Premixes: 4.Standing +Floorwork (No Cardio Burst) - 56.22 min + Pileates + JS new dvd premix: Powered Up, Hiit Walk and the Dance Walk.+ abs.

Diane Sue - sorry to hear about the pain. Fell better soon. Good job on your workouts.

Diane Sue- I'm with you on the "forgetfulness" I did Z-Fit step last night and had completely forgotten everything and had to re-learn it. Some combos/moves come back quickly but this one has one, sexy sixteen, that I've never gotten completely comfortable with and last night was no exception.

The couple from Kelly I've been tempted to pre-order as well as the new one from Mike Donovan... but I've held off on both. I have Amy Bento's new one coming as well as the new Cathe series so I'm being good and not ordering!!

This morning I did Iso Strength Chisel for 30 mintues... daylight savings time still has our house on dis-rest and everybody was already up by the time I finished and I had to quit after 30 mintues and deal with the kids.
 
Today I put together premixes rom Kelly Coffey's workouts. I did Body Shop Lower premix, 19 minutes, 87 calories using 15 and 20 # dumbbells till the floorwork where I used an 8# behind my knee and 15's for the hip lifts. I then did Kelly's Body Circuits premix hi/lo lower, 31 minutes, 205 calories using 15 and 20# for the weight work. I finished with Kelly's Your Best Body Core/Yoga premix that includes the warm up, 22 minutes, 100 calories. Total workout was 72 minutes, 392 calories.

Belinda, nice work getting those workouts in. You have really stuck with getting all of those pre-mixes in. I think I would have gotten tired of the plan and hedged on some ;)

Doreen, it sounds like your house is very busy. When I had my children all at home and did daycare I was up at 4:30 to workouts. I really had a hard time not getting annoyed at interruptions that early in the morning. I felt it was my time. You do well getting something in.

Did not work out yesterday and am unsure about today. When I got back from caretaking on Wednesday I took a long hot bath to try to ease out my nerve damage and knee pain, and when I went to get up, I almost fell in the tub. I thought it was just me being clumsy. But yesterday I woke up to full sinus congestion in my head. Yesterday, when ever I moved my head, I would get dizzy and sick. My stomach was sick all day from it. Today I'm not dizzy, but I have a lot of pain and congestion. I just got up and took some Aleve. Will see if I feel any better later. Considering all I want to do is go back to bed, I doubt that I'll work out.

Today I did Amy Bento Step Challenge 2, combos 1,2,1&2 combined and 3, 44 minutes, 340 calories. I then did Ice Low Impact Sweat blizzard blast, 11 minutes, 85 calories. I finished off with Les Mills Pump Flow, 21 minutes, 46 calories. I always like this yoga because there is no lying on the floor on my back and no lengthy repetitive segments. My workout was 77 minutes, and 471 calories.

Doreen, good workout mix today.

Belinda, are there that many premixes on STS Total Body? You must be near done.

Laura, get some rest. I am sorry that you have the pain and are sick.

Today I started with one of the Power Jump youtube workouts on the rebounder. I chose a short one that was 11 minutes. Oh, my gosh, I should have warmed up first !! heart rate was 141 average and max 172 :O I waned a good warm up before lower body and I guess that one did it. I then did Kelly Coffey Split sessions workout2 lower body with the bonus 45 minutes, 199 calories. I finished of with Cathe leaner legs barre using a weight with it and started the abs but once the basic crunches were over I went on to the stretch. I did not want to raise a dumbbell overhead and by this point I was just done anyway. This was 20 minutes, 65 calories. Total time 76 minutes, calories burned 365.

Belinda, I understand getting the longer workouts done first. I still use Slide and Glide occasionally. It is not a favorite of mine though. I would rather just do the floor work portion. The nice thing is that it is a nice non impact workout.
