Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

Today I did Pedal Power Premix timesaver #1, 40 minutes, 9.3 miles, 280 calories. I then did 21 Day Fix Extreme Yoga, 32 minutes, 70 calories. Total time 72 minutes, 350 calories. I am feeling quite a bit better. My neck is still swollen and tender but not so tender as it was yesterday.

Laura, I usually put my high step topper or maybe a couple of risers under it just in case I need some assistance with pull up. I have a bit of dread for it after injuring my rotator cuff and my doctor saying it puts the shoulder in a vulnerable position. I tend to avoid them. Pus it affects my neck as well. I have been doing a lot of just seeing what hurts and what I can and need to do lately. I have found if I do some stretching at night that is not real aggressive that I seem to have a lot less aches during the night and when I wake up in the morning.

Doreen, I got rid of some pilates workouts like 10 minute solution, an old MTV one and some Yoga booty ballet or whatever that was called that had pilates in it. Then P90X3 came with one and I sort of liked it and how it worked the core. Then one of the reason that I wanted 21 Day Fix Extreme was the yoga and the pilates that used the tubing with it. That one is a nice one for core and the back side of the legs and glutes. I hope that you enjoyed Chisel Balance. There are some really good workouts in that program.

Belinda, nice work on the Lower Body Blast premix. I was thinking that I should do the leg conditioning drills with Kelly's Split sessions lower body

Diane Sue - good job yesterday. The leg condition drills was pretty good, felt the burn.

Today I did the warm up, floor work, and leg drills from Lower Body Blast, 40 minutes, 143 calories. I used 3# ankle weights and my blue Cathe firewalker loop. I then did Kelly Coffey Split Sessions bonus floor work with my heavy and extra heavy loops, 17 minutes, 50 calories. I finished with Barre Amped Strength and Stretch Power Stretch, 24 minutes, 60 calories. Total time was 82 minutes and calories burned 261. That is the calorie burn average I got for the few times I did Turbo Barre. These workouts are burners but they do not burn a lot of calories. My neck is bruised and I have intense itching. Particularly where the tape was but some is under the skin. I wanted some more work for the back of the legs today, but was avoiding lifting weights. This worked out for me. Maybe things will be better Monday. My neck was hurting last night and I forgot to pick up more Tylenol at the store. I did not use anything yesterday but last night I could have used it. I fell right to sleep and work up a couple of hours later with the neck pain.

Laura, doing all of X 10 is a great workout accomplishment. I really like the variety in it.
 
Good job everyone with all the workouts today! I did afterburn. Love this one. It was my first Cathe purchase after finding her on FitTV. And I bought the download and used the workout blender to create sooo many variations of it. I'd left it on my Cathe todo list for a long time thinking I'd still feel a little burnt out on it but I loved it this morning. And just like it has done everytime before I feel my glutes and the DOMS starting now!

This morning I did Low Impact Sweat workout 2 timesaver no swinging weights tough. 28 minutes, 190 calories. I then did Barre Amped Advanced Active stretch, 28 minutes, 60 calories. 250 calories total 56 minutes.

Doreen, it is always nice when you have something that you really love to enjoy. I am that way with Party Rockin Step. If I am not feeling it I can usually rely on that one to work well for me.
 
Just finished Intensity. I made it an intense Intensity, I used the mix and match on this one and redid the step portions. I love the premixes the majority of the time, but I wish the newer dvds would have the mix and match back too. Oh well, can't have everything.

Doreen, had to go back and see what were the first Cathe's that I ordered after I found her on FitTV. Mine were in 2007, Body Max 2, Butts and Guts, Cardio Fusion, Drill Max, the Terminator, IMAX3, Kick Max and the high step (which I think came with the High Step DVDs). It was the first of many Cathe Christmas's for me. And I still love them. Love Afterburn, but also hate those spider man mountain climbers!

Diane Sue, I usually rely on PRS or Body Max 2 as my not feeling it workouts.

I'm having a hard time adjusting to this working out on Sunday routine. My body just doesn't want to get started. It's funny, it really shows how your body does get used to the same thing for years.

Diane Sue -this weekend we are celebrating my DD bday :) Yesterday we went to this beautiful winery. Tomorrow we will do things in DC. We all having a blast.
 
This morning i did hammer conditioning and the lean legs and abs compound legs and part of the ab section. I always lift heavier on lean legs. I think she does 8. I do 12 or 15. Both workouts are compound move based so it was a good combo.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Split Sessions lower body, 28 minutes, 150 calories. I then did Ice Boot Camp Circuit no upper mix, 35 minutes, 229 calories. I finished off with Barre Amped lower body stretch, 19 minutes. Total time was 82 minutes, 419 calories. The good news is that there was no cancer found in the lymph nodes. I feel pretty good and they lymph nodes seem like they are resolving a bit. My daughter came over and visited today till she had to go pick up my grandson from school. It was nice having a visit.


Belinda, I am sure that you had a great time in DC. I have never been but my husband has and has taken lots of pictures.

Doreen, I usually lift heavier on Lean Legs and Abs. I am never completely fond of doing lower body with all of that shoulder work that seems to be paired with it. I don't mind biceps curls etc.. Just not over head presses and upright rows. That sounds like it would be a good combo with those two workouts.

No trick or treaters here to today. I guess all of those m&m 's will turn into cookies for the grandchildren and family. That is why I buy candy that can be used for something else. I can freeze the cookies.

We had a lot of fun this weekend :) Yesterday was my DD's birthday. Went to a museum in DC, we got in a lot of walking. We did workout in the morning before heading to DC :) We did JS Walk On: 30 Day 30 min walk + 15 min Fat Burn walk.

Today I did STS Total Body Workout DVD - Premixes: 4.Timesaver - No Bonus Burn - 60.32 min + 30 min walk.

Diane Sue - if you ever get a chance to go to DC you should go, IMO! I love DC :) So much to do. Both my kids live in DC. Everytime we go visit them, we end up doing/going somewhere. Glad you had fun with your DD.

It's cold outside :( Not liking this weather.

This morning I did Rock'm Sock'm main and blizzard blast, 62 minutes,480 calories. I followed this with Kelly Coffey Athletic Conditioning Volume 2 workout 2 core/flexibility, 27 minutes, 70 calories. Total time was 88 minutes and calories burned 550. I need to go out and pick up journal and some protein powder so that I can make my husband some lemon protein bars. I also need to vacuum. I have not done that part of house cleaning for awhile because I did not want to drag the heavy Kirby up and down the stairs. I am working on pulling things off of my shelving in my workout room so we can move things around. It is a good opportunity to dust the shelves and books and contents well and organize a bit.

Belinda, it sounds like you probably got in plenty of steps with the workouts and museum. I enjoy museums.
 
Today I did ICE LI 1 3x. My knee is acting up today so I was keeping it low. Didn't want to do to much as I have to be up so early tomorrow.

Diane Sue - nice mix of workouts yesterday. I hate cleaning. Since we had to move everything in the basement, I will go through everything. I am sure, I have some stuff to get rid off. Getting rid of a lot lately, lol. You make your own lemon protein bars? They sound amazing.

Today I did Low Impact Circuit cardio and lower mix adding the abs. I also did the firewalker band portion of turbo barre and sthe stretch. My workout was 79 minutes, 468 calories.

Belinda, I cleaned out a lot of old charts and those little papers that come with Beach Body workouts showing you how to take pictures of yourself. I have so much useless stuff. I also dug out my doctor files and threw out about a third of that. I don't think I need every wellness check up for the last 20 years. I keep a lot of that information in my notepad on my phone and print up copies so I have dates handy. Yes, I make the Jamie Eason lemon protein bar recipe she has on Pinterest and Bodybuilding .com. I think there is even a you tube. I buy the TruLemon drink mix that is made with stevia to make them along with stevia sweetened vanilla whey. I use a bit of Xylitol blend. I can't handle much of that stuff without stomach cramps. My husband really likes snacking on them.
