Like/review/verify/don't buy check in for 2016- 2024

I did Amy bento' cardio karate cardio complexes workout this am via youtube. I like it better than the first one I tried. Some very interesting and challenging ab work at the end too.

I saw on fb she thinks her new step workout will ship in about three weeks! I can't wait!!

Belinda- i have not done S&G in a long time either. It is on my list but I just haven't felt compelled to do it.

Rest day today . Spent some time with family this afternoon. I did one of Cathe's stretch max segments last night. I got a few scratches from my dog rolling around on the floor wanting to get involved. :) She always finds it fascinating when I am on the floor and tries to get as close as she can.

Doreen, I have not done Cardio Karate and keep forgetting that they are on You Tube. I only go online for a workout once in a great while. I hate the buffering and being unsure if I am going to like what I choose.
 
Kicked the soccer ball around with my son yesterday and now my left hip flexor is sore...

I did Max hammer strength this morning.

I am waiting for the plumber to return with another faucet for the kitchen. It is always something. He could not fix the one we have because it was locked up. We were having to turn the whole unit to move it. We had to replace another outside faucet as well. I did get in a short workout this morning. I did Ice Boot camp Circuit no upper body premix, 35 minutes, 221 calories.

Doreen, I rarely get sore hip flexors. Maybe just because it was something a bit different. It has been many years since I have kicked a ball around.

I had a busy day today. Just got done with my workouts: I did STS Total Body Workout DVD = 66 min - Premixes: 3.Upper Body Only - 24.00 min + walk.

I have to get ready to take my dog to physical therapy. I will try to catch up on personals later. Good job, everyone.

Express - Cardio + Stretch - 31:20 + walk is done. There is no warm up/cooldown in the he STS TB premix from today and yesterday :(

This morning I did Cathe's Ride premix #4, 34 minutes, 240 calories. I then decided to pull out Tracey Anderson Method Trampoline, I used that workout a few times after knee surgery and have not used it since. I did both the front and back workouts first, then did the body work stuff. I kept wondering why no warm up but it was before the stuff that used little dumbbells and did the typical leg work on the floor while hanging onto the rebounder. The workout isn't bad but it is like you are just watching her do her workout. Front is her facing you and back is her facing away from you, both segments are about 12.5 minutes. Pretty much the same moves. She only talks before the workout starts. Total time for this was 51 minutes, 346 calories. Since the stretch was just leaning forward with hands on the rebounder I added Barre Amped Strength and stretch upper body and bonus ball 20 minutes. Total calories today was 616.

Belinda, that is why I like having some short stretch options. I usually like to have a bit longer stretch anyway. Like Tracy's today. I thought it was odd she did some crunch leg stuff then sits up and stretches her arms over the rebounder and that was it.

Diane Sue - I had no idea those 2 premixes didn't had a warm up/cool down. Thank goodness I was warmed up before I done those premixes. I have some TA workouts, haven't done them yet. For some reason, I can't get into her workouts? maybe because she doesn't talk? LOL, I guess that was TA stretch, lol. That is funny!

It is a busy day today. I did Ripped with Hiit Low Impact Hiit both workouts combined premix 2, 52 minutes, 365 calories. I will do lower body tomorrow when I have more time. Some of the family will be here for dinner. My grandson has half day of school and is coming over.

Belinda, I do not like the not talking because there is no cuing so I find myself still doing something and look up and she is doing something else. It is a cheap way to film a workout if you ask me. And they are overpriced.

This morning I did 21 Day Fix Extreme Lower body 34 minutes, 234 calories. I followed this with X Train Legs premix standing, ball, chair, 39 minutes, 193 calories. Total time was 73 minutes, calories burned 427. I used 15's for 21 Day Fix Extreme legs and Cathe's weight or a little heavier for X Train Legs. I went out to Walmart market and hopefully I do not need to go to the store again before Thanksgiving.

Today I started with Amy Bento Ross Step Challenge 5 , and did the first 10 minutes. I was not doing bad on remembering the choreography but after some spins and then leaping over the step I just decided that I did not feel like working on it today. I burned 63 calories in that 10 minutes though. I then put in Tabatacise 45 minutes, 304 calories. I finished off with Hammer and Chisel 10 minute ab chisel, 12 minutes, 34 calories. I chose this ab workout because it does not strain my neck. It is pretty much all plank work with elbows on the step alternated with seated work like v sits. My neck and the injured nerve from the needle are starting to improve. I actually stayed asleep most of two nights now'

Belinda, isn't double trouble the cardio portion of that workout repeated? I used to like to use the floorwork as an add on to other workouts.
 
Good Morning all! The guys are off hunting this morning so I got in a workout. I did Flex train followed by Delt domination from LWF2. About 60 minutes total give or take.
Good job everyone on your workouts! Diane Sue- ASC5 does have a lot of spins that I haven't quite figured out yet either.
I have never bought a TA DVD simply because I hear such weird things about them!

I had grandchildren overnight and have been busy with them and cooking today. My 8 year old granddaughter and I made Fixate Cookbook Protein Waffles. She loves to help cook. She worked out with me. She almost always brings workout clothes with her. We did Piyo Strong legs with the gliding discs followed by Barre Amped relaxation stretch. Not a big calorie burn. I believe around 117 calories. She wanted to do yoga but wanted something short so that ended up being the choice. I needed to get done anyway. Her brother two was downstairs checking out things and feeding the dog extra scoops of dog food. My husband caught it. My dog thought I ripped her off this evening when I only gave her about a third of her usual helping. She kept sitting there looking at me like I must be joking and licked her bowl. My husband felt sorry for her and gave her one of her homemade dog treats. I have lots more cooking to do. I made a birthday cake for my son in law for tomorrows birthday gathering.

Belinda, I almost did the Slide and Glide Workout today. But then I worried about space if my 2 year old grandson hung out with his set of gliding discs along with my granddaughter and me so the other worked better. I would have liked to do more though.

Doreen, Amy's Step Challenge 5 is going to take me some time to learn I think. It took me a long time to get started and it was just one of those days that I felt maybe I needed something that did not make me have to think where my feet were going and which direction. I will keep at it though. Tracey Anderson sometimes has some weird moves that I would be embarrassed it someone else was watching me doing it. That is generally during warm ups and cardio stuff. The floor work is really just endless kicking out and in and up and down till the leg is exhausted.

I walked for 40 min + did a quick 20 min barre workout.

Diane Sue - it's probably a good thing you didn't do S&G with a 2 year old :) Hope you had fun with your grandchildren. I have Amy Bento Step workouts, never done it for the reason you mention :( One of those day's I will be brave enough to pull it out.

I will be back tomorrow. I have to figure out what workouts I will do next :)
 
The family afternoon birthday was fun. Later my grandson 19 came over so my husband could get some good pictures for our family picture wall. He had dinner with us and stayed for awhile. I need to pull out some Christmas stuff and start decorating

Belinda, I think that the Step Challenge 5 has a lot of extra spinning and over the bench moves. More than some of the others. I think that Step Challenge 4 gets easier once you get to the second combo. Fortunately she does spend quite a bit of time on each combo in most of her workouts. Then she usually puts a couple together before moving on. Then all at the end combined. That seems to be kind of the way they are set up. It has been awhile since I have done all of them.
