Just for fun--what was your first concert?

Ok, I never went to a concert before until after married, and my very first concert was Aerosmith and Kiss... I know maybe it does not count but hey that was my very first one ever, and I'm a big fun and I have see them 2 more times.....

Aerosmith filmed a music video here and ended up using an official police shirt in it (for which the giver of the shirt got into trouble). I saw Steven Tyler walking through the mall with a very small entourage. It was pretty cool because people were recognizing him but leaving him alone to shop.

I saw Fleetwood Mac before they were really famous and that was about 1972. Then I saw Bob Dylan in 1973, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in 1975 and Paul McCartney & Wings in 1976. I know there were more.

Culture Club! Still one of the best concerts ever. Oops, just saw the "without parents". Duran Duran a few years later.

I can't remember which came first ~ it was either . .

Queen with Bob Seger back up

OR

Blue Oyster Cult with Rush back up

Both were fun as hell . . .

38 Special with a bunch of jr. high friends. Can not even believe I am admitting to that.

My first concert was Elvis Presley with my mother. I loved him. Unfortunately by the time I saw him he had put on a lot of weight but I still thought he was sooo handsome.

OMG! You saw Elvis! That's like witnessing history, lucky girl! :)

I saw Led Zeppplin.
They opened up seats behind the band.
That was the year before John Bonham died.
I just saw the backs of them but at least I was there.

ELO 1974ish Universiry of Cincinnati field house... went with my older sister and had a blast. My favorite concerts to go to in high school were Alice Cooper's. We were always first row center stage whenever he came around. After the Who tragedy in Cincinnati ( I was there but already inside front and center) I didn't go to concerts for years and years.

Chrissy: I saw Mickey in concert this past December! He was playing at a casino a couple of blocks from my house and I went backstage to meet him and his sister ( their crew was staying at one of my overnight rentals) It was a blast!! Got the obligatory picture with him: boy was my sister jealous.... I remember the days of Davey and Mickey Tiger Beat pictures covering my bedroom wall!!!

Love the Monkees. I did see Davey and Mickey at a small local venue in the late 90's along with Greg Brady!! I actually got my picture taken with him.(greg) He wouldnt sign autographs though unless you bought his album (please!!) or a picture. The nerve!!

Oh I'm jealous I would have given my eye teeth to see them back when I was a teenager, but John Bonham died just a couple years before I discovered them (in my parents album collection). :(

I was 15.. it was Prince, The Times and Vanity 6. Still remains one of the best, ever. I was too young, really, because Prince was very naughty (by current standards, very tame). Now that I think about it, before Madonna and todays crop of entertainers, Vanity 6 was one of the first group of women to perform in lingerie. The men loved them, I loved Prince and The Time.
