Cathlete
Just had to share with my fellow Catheletes...
I ran my first half marathon all the way through--no walk breaks!! In the five years I've been running, I've been using the walk/run method, with my personal best time coming in at 2:30. I smashed that today, coming in at 2:18:25, woohoo!!
And the best part? I felt fantastic during and after the run. I don't think I've ever run a half marathon (or a full marathon, for that matter) where I didn't feel totally horrible in the last 2-3 miles. This time, I felt as though I could keep on running (although I didn't ).
Woohoo!!
