I usually only take off 1 rest day a week unless I have a longer race (like I do this week) so in that case I'll take off 2 days.

I usually take 4 or so a month. Sometimes it ends up being more, sometimes none. Just depends how I'm feeling.

I take every Sunday off. Kind of want to start taking every Saturday and Sunday off but not sure what that will do with my results?

I usually take 2 per week...one on purpose, and one because forces conspire against my working out that day (kids' homework, MIL freak-out, etc.)

I workout Tue-Sun and take off Mondays almost always. It usually is active rest though, doing yoga or a walk outside or even on the TM if the weather is yucky. I do cardio W,F, and Su and I lift T, H, and Sat, unless I do circuits like Drill Max, and I will throw in days like that here and there. I do abs about 4-5 days a week (except presently, I do no abs of course!)

I usually take one complete day of rest each week. That will vary though depending on what life throws at me. Sometimes I will work out straight thru a week because I know I will have to take more then 1 day off the following week. It really depends on the situation at hand. :)

One.

I take Wendesdays off. That way I only have to get up at 5:00 a.m. two days in a row (I sleep until 6:30 on Wednesdays)!

But the important thing is to listen to your body. I've been feeling strong, so I usually do at least 5 tough workouts a week and 1 slightly easier one. It's working for me ... for now, anyway!

I plan on taking one day off a week but usually it ends up being two days, occassinally three. I am trying to get back to one day off a week only.

I rest twice per week. I used to work out 6 days and only rest once, but my body quickley told me it was not having that! Taking off two days actually helps me to have more energy and the mental state for my 5 workouts.

I take 1 day off/week.. usually Sundays... I don't anything, no active rest, just couch potato it.. My body needs it. ( My head says something else, but that's another discussion!:)

I travel frequently for my job, so sometimes its 2 days, depending on when my flight out is in the AM and if the gym is open at the hotel at the time I need to be getting up to workout.

I also take one week off a year with no exercise.. Might bump that to 2, since I'm training pretty seriously these days with weights.

Personally, I think it all depends on how hard you are training.. if you are working out really intensely 4-5 days/week, 2-3 days off per week is most likely a good thing.

I never take off rest days. I love my rest days.

Sorry, I couldn't resist having a bit of fun with your grammar. ;)
