Hardcore Premix Update 9/20/04

Cathe - that is great news - thanks to you and the crew!

I *really* enjoy the shorter pre-mixes - 30 or 40 minutes (max), one or two that are straight strength, one or two that are straight cardio and a couple that combine strength and cario. Time is so crunched these days that I find myself needing short, effective workouts more and more often.

Thanks as always for asking and listening!

I forgot to add this one - I would love it if you would be able to put 'standing only', lying down ... premixes in the stretch DVD. I hate lying my sweaty sticky self on the ground to stretch if I'm not there already. I don't know if this is possible since I have no idea what the stretch DVD is going to be like but it would be great if you could.

Cathe,

I think the main thing for me is variety. I hate doing the same thing over & over. Any mixing with a lot of activities would be great for me.

Hi Cathe,

Thanks so much for agreeing to include the pre-mixes. You guys are simply awesome!

Thoughts I would love...upper body only strength, lower body only strength, combined upper/lower body but shorter strength. One body part a day type premixes...perhaps combined with a short but intense cardio? (Not that you haven't already done that idea! LOL)
Perhaps a cardio mix? Step & kickboxing? By the way, would love an entire workout of step/kickboxing someday!

Anything you guys come up with will be great. Thanks for asking!

Ruth:)

Me too!! I would especially like to have really short strength premixes eg 15 min total upper body blast, 15 min total lower body blast for those really time crunched days. Also medium length strength "add-ons" ie 20-30 min would be fanatastic.:7

Gone are the days where I could devote a full hour to strength work after cardio unfortunately.:(

Of course, whatever you decide on will be great as I cant wait!:7

Hi Cathy,
I also would love to have a premix (about 50-60 mins) that combined Shoulder, Triceps and Biceps and one that combined Chest and Back. I love combining upper body that way!!!

Cathe,

Thanks for doing premixes. I agree with Deanna I need variety. Premixes help keep my workouts interesting. When I know what comes next I get very bored and can't push myself hard.

I especially like premixes that combine different workouts. I also hope you have some longer premixes (70 to 80 minutes) as some days I just love to push myself to the limit.

What about workout blender? To be able to choose which parts to do using my brand of DVD (which I got at Costco so I know lots of people probably have it) has proven to be a really easy way to go. I can leave out the parts that stress my knees too much.:) :) :)

RE: Hardcore Series

Was not able to order any of the Hard Core Series before deadlinex(. Feeling bummed out about it;(

But I did Super Sets this morning and walked on the treadmill for 30 mins. Now to have my second breakfast.

Hope everyone will have a great weekend.
