Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for September 2022!!

Forgot to check in. Took a 1.5 mile walk this morning and followed with Michelle Briehler Full Body Strength RIP. Awesome workout. About an hour long that fatigued the muscles. Took another 1.5 mile walk tonight with hubby and dog.

Good workouts everyone!

The weekend sure did fly, had a good one even though the weather was rainy all weekend.

This morning I did RAW Just Lift and had a great workout. I haven't done this one before, it's a straight forward workout of 3 sets and 8 reps. No time limits. Good workout, I enjoyed it.

3 sets/8 reps

Double Arm Rows: 20's
BSS: 12#
Half Curl/Iron Cross: 8's/5's/5's (dangerous for the shoulders, Kelly used 15's!!)
Elevated Goblet Squats: 15#
Overhead Triceps Extension: 15#
Supination Curls: 15's/17.5's/15's
Hip Trusters: 40# barbell (I did elevated deads)
Wide Out/In Chest Press: 15's/12's/12's (this one is also dangerous for the shoulders, went light)
Abs: Situps

I added Overhead Shrugs using 8's and Regular Shrugs using 12's

Workout was 49 minutes, burned 402 calories, HR was 132/163.

Diane - My PT told me that too about the traps, that the part of the muscle lower down needs to be strengthened for balance. Seriously, we work that part of the traps ALL THE TIME with rows and bent over raises. I think the muscle that needs to be balanced out is the upper trap. I have been feeling better adding in light weight shrugs and overhead shrugs, I've really let that part of the muscle go. Anyways, I think they are wrong, I think that is why the knots keep forming because the upper traps aren't strong anymore. Just my opinion and I guess I will find out since I'm working them more. Great job on your workouts!!

Jolie - Sorry it's so hot by you, dang, that is crazy!! Hope it cools off soon for you. It's been in the 70's here but humid and raining.

Great job with your workouts everyone, I am short on time. Have a great day!!

Checking in with Penny 30 min Standing Cardio. Another sweaty low-moderate impact workout. Nothing is high impact and I pretty much did this as is. This was alot of fun and thought I would share it. I followed up with ICE abs.

Debbie, I concur withyou regarding the trap muscle. That is what I found through PT.

Off to enjoy the day. Hope everyone has a good day!

Yesterday I did CDorner Crazy Fun Step Aerobics, 62 minutes, heart rate 128/158, 313 calories, 4,936 steps. Today I did Cathe Boss Loops Glutes and Core Mish Mosh #4 double standing lower body with low impact cardio, 43 minutes, heart rate 124/164, 210 calories, 2,179 steps. I also did CDorner mobility from a couple of weeks ago, 31 minutes, 63 calories. Total time was 74 minutes, 273 calories.
I have not been feeling well the last few days and all of the coughing and sneezing plus Raw Box and Pump 7 even though short set off my neck, traps and shoulders big time. Last night I spent several hours doing hand sewing which really did not help. I feel somewhat better after my workout though. I still have more sewing to do though. Hopefully it goes quickly.

Debbie, I liked Lift when I did it. Nice work. I hope you are right about the upper traps. I am always afraid to push in that area because it seems it brings on pain. My neck is a huge problem though. I think that the compound shoulder movement and boxing with 1# weight was too much for me when I did it. I did modify though. With rows, in physical therapy they had me doing them standing facing a weight machine with cables and pulling at waist level. It seems I feel it in a different area than when I do bent over rows, or one arm rows. I will be watching to see how you do with working the traps. I know we always hit them. That area is a well used area for everything.

Cam, I bookmarked those workouts and may check them out. Nice work.

Belinda, nice work on Biceps, triceps, and abs and your walk today.

Doreen, great job with the metabolic interval workout and walk with your dog. I think there was a dog fight on the street behind us yesterday evening. A lot of people walk their dogs around the block where they are still building homes. I had to rush my dog in from our back yard because she was getting all excited about it and you could hear voices. Lots of snarling and stuff.

Hi to Jolie and Roxie!

I had such a hard time waking up this morning, I don't know what's wrong with me lately but I am so tired in the mornings. Once I wake up I'm good, but I was dragging this morning. I went to bed at 9:30 too.

Anyways, I only had energy to walk on my treadmill. Plus I have this weird kink on my right hip that was really bothering me last night but is better today. It feels like my hip isn't in line. I might get in my DH's inversion table tonight if it keeps feeling like this.

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 354 calories, went 2.05 miles, did 5073 steps and HR was 131/160.

I can't wait until Kelly puts up her new workouts. Hope it's soon!

Cam - Nice job with your workout. Well, I'm not sure I'm 100% right about the trap issue, but I just feel like I work my lower traps all the time. They have to be strong. There may be underlying muscles that need strengthening as well, but I do think the upper traps is part of the problem. I'm not even sure why I stopped working them, I think because of tightness I was getting in my neck and trap area. I'm sure it was because I was using like 50-100# for shrugs. That could cause issues. LOL! I'll try it for a bit and see what happens. Hopefully it will help.

Belinda - Good job on your workout. How are you feeling lately? Has your RP settled down?

Diane - Do you have a cold or is it allergies do you think? I hope you feel better today. I looked at what you posted about Box & Pump 7 and didn't want to do it because of the kettlebells. I don't care for compound movements, so I tend to stay away from those workouts. I was wondering if that workout would bother you. I wonder why you still have so much problems with your neck and shoulders? I thought all that would go away after your surgery. I hope I am right about the upper traps, too. I don't know what else to do. I do still have a small knot but it is going away and feels ok most days. Yes, I think there are some underlying muscles we neglect with rows and flies, but I can't believe that is what is causing all of this. It has to be something else. I've been working on those underlying muscles for a long time and it hasn't helped. You have too, moreso than me. I know sitting is the big culprit for me, but lifting also seems to trigger it. Starting to wonder if we will ever be rid of this nuisance. :(

Hope everyone is doing well! The list has been quiet lately. Have a great day everyone!

Yesterday was a rest day for me, I did a lot of walking over the weekend so I thought I deserved it. Today I did Cathe's STS Meso 2, disc # 19 Chest and Triceps, I skipped Shoulders for another day, this is a long workout. Today the focus is on Double Wave Loads, which I love, so similar to Progressive Sets but in a different format. I still have a Shoulder issue so I cannot go as heavy as I would like but still got in a good workout. I added 5 AB exxercises at the end from the Les Mills program and boy did it do me good. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 355 calories. It will be very hot here for the next 4 days and then we get down into the high 70's!!!!!!! I cannot wait. Friday will be 98 degrees with high humidity, that may be my second rest day for the week.

Debbie, great job getting on the workout yesterday and at least you got in a good calorie burn on the TM this morning. My Trap is bothering me still but not nearly as bad as before. I am trying the Shrugs but it is still tight and across the chest too. I use my rapid release gun on these areas and it really helps but it is my position sleeping that is causing a lot of this mess.

Cam, thanks for posting your workout again, you are killing it! Still hot here, I am so sick of it. I love to walk outside but this summer is like living in Florida with the humidity.

Belinda, great job on your workout! How is Sadie feeling these days?

Diane Sue, is it allergies from the Rag Weed? I hear that is really hard on people in your neck of the woods. Nice job on the workout!

Roselyn, I hope you have a great workout.

Make it a great day, another day for me in the air conditioning! I bet our bill will be over $1000 this month and i am not kidding. Electrical is so high in CA, they are forcing people to solar and to energy cars, but the cars suck up so much energy per day so I just dont get it! Gas is cheaper than electricity even with solar!!!

I need to seriously hydrate. Beautiful here today. 70s, dry and sunny. Gotta enjoy it while I can. Pretty soon the leaves will be falling.

Jolie, sorry about your climate and idiot govenor who thinks he will be president. HA!

Good workouts everyone! Gotta run!

Hi,

No walk today, it's raining.

I did Butt Lift with bands and 20#. If I have time later I will post my workout. I don't know if I mention it? DD is in Greece. DD is sending daily pictures. So beautiful. I am watching her dog Cooper. He and Sadie follow me everywhere. DH and I are looking into buying a Class A motorhome. We had one 6 years ago. I looked up vacations in FL. Holy moly, they are expensive. They charging $100 extra for pets. If you plan on staying 7 day's, that's 700 dollars not to mention hotel/fees/plan tickets. I am so ready for a vacation.

Julie - thanks for asking about Sadie. She is doing great. Sorry about the heat. Great job on your workout.

Debbie - I took my last prednisone Sunday. My noise/ear is acting up a little, not bad right now. I will see my Rheum in 2 weeks. Maybe it's the change in weather? I am dragging lately too. Dogs don't let me sleep. Great job on your workout.

Diane - great job on your workout yesterday. Are you home or still on vaccation?

Waving Hi to the rest of the gang.

No workout today. I did not get much sleep and needed to go return a package from Amazon. I was so annoyed when two of my packages came and something was wrong. One was an empty package that was a glass cleaner for the aquarium with magnets. Right after I contacted them, I checked out the scrub Daddy package and I had ordered a two pack of sponge Daddy's and they gave me 1 of what looked like a 2x3 inch sample called a scrub mini. I am still sneezing and coughing. I am pretty sure it is the allergies. I follow the allergies for where I live on Pollen People .com. They send me emails. I wasn't so bad when it was just grasses, but chenopods entered and now ragweed and it is high at 10.5 today and forecast is 10.6 tomorrow. I have been outside doing some stuff in planters and trimming rose bushes since we got back.

Debbie, I hope you get enough rest tonight. Good for you getting in the treadmill workout. I keep checking for Kelly putting up the new workouts. I don't think I posted that there was Kettlebells in Box and Pump #7 . My biggest mistake was using 1# dumbbells for the boxing and the 10# for snatches. Also the curl and press which I think I did two reps and then just did curls. You might like it. It just set off what was already going on with my neck and upper back. I pushed a bit too much as I have been doing so much better with the weights. Maybe it was something else I said I did. I will have to go look.
I have never been able to find something to help with the trap pain when searching. It seems like it is always the same moves to do and all about posture. They tell you the traps cause the neck pain, but I sure wish they would tell how to completely stop it. We know sitting and posture is a major part of it. Exercises can set it off and if we stretch, massage the knots use ice and heat and do nothing it gets better. That cannot be the only way to make it stop and keep up with our active lives. The surgeon did tell me that the surgery would make it better with the shoulder but will not stop arthritis pain. I do have the limited space in the spine area in my neck, you can see it on the mri shots. Arthritis doctor showed me where he would put the needle if I wanted the epidural in my neck. So I know some of it is that, but I do not think it is the main cause because with the right supplements and care on movement etc. it can get better. I let up on supplements as they cost a lot for quality trustworthy ones. I did that recently and am now trying to get my arsenal back.
I sat here the other night reading something on Trap and neck pain and when I got to the end I was irritated as it was the usual stuff and exercises that I already do.

Jolie, great job with STS meso 2 chest and triceps. Nice weights too! Are you dealing with power outages? I don't think I would be as good at getting in workouts without air conditioning. 70's would be nice. It is still hot here, but not quite as bad. My gosh on the electricity cost!! My electric company sent a thing to lock in at 168 dollars a month for the next year so not to worry about increases. I am not going to do it and add that cost to rising gas price. Our highest bill was 215 dollars, and we keep our air at 178 all summer. California is ridiculous and make such lousy decisions that makes it worse. The solar stuff will make us more beholden to China. I don't know how they think people are going to get to work in electric cars when they don't want people using electricity. I am sorry you have to pay so much to live there. Yes, the ragweed is way up there right now and I take two allergy meds in the mornings along with using nasal guard gel and eye antihistamine. Still coughing and sneezing. After a while my chest hurts and bronchial airways are irritated. All of the allergy meds make me tired. Hopefully it lets up soon. It helps if it rains and washes some of the pollen out of the air. I have to sleep on my back and arms down to my sides. If I wake in another position I am sure to have knots and pain.

Cam, Circuit Circus sounds fun. I hope you have fun with the long walk. I am sure you will enjoy the nice temps today.

Belinda, a motor home would be ideal for you for travel. When we had out fifth wheel we sometimes took our dogs with us on trips. It is nice to have your own bed and food and things there and know it is clean. Would you have to rent storage for it or can you park it at your residence?
Nice work with Butt Lift with bands and 20#. I bet Cooper and Sadie are enjoying each other. I hope the ear and nose is just weather related and gets better. My dog does not want to let me sleep beyond 8 in the mornings. I stay up late and sometimes it is hard to get moving. She kept sticking her nose on me this morning and finally started whining till I got up. Two dogs would definitely wake you up.

This morning I did RAW Strength 2 Cardio Acceleration. I had a great workout, this one is a favorite of mine. I was able to do the leg work but used light weights. I did most of the cardio but towards the end my knees were starting to feel it so I just did whatever I felt like doing.

12 reps each lifting move, cardio was just as long as Kelly wanted it to go.

Shoulders/Triceps
Upright Rows:
15's
Cardio
Repeat
Double Arm Kickbacks: 8's
Cardio
Repeat
Overhead Press/Triceps Extensions: 10's (this was tough had to stop early)

Abs

Workout was 52 minutes, burned 316 calories, HR waas 118/165. Took my HR a while to get up with this one.

Jolie - I really need to do STS again, at least the ones like you are doing. I loved those workouts. I should find a new DVD player so I can do them. Great job with that workout, you killed it! My upper back is getting better, sitting still agitates it, though. Hopefully we both can get rid of this, it's frustrating! Wow on your electrict bill. I don't know how anyone can live in CA - no offense to you at all, I just don't understand how anyone can afford it. We've had our A/C most every day since July and our electric bill hovers between $70-$90 a month. Crazy how expensive CA is. I hope the weather gets nicer for you soon, that heat has got to be a killer!

Cam - Good job with your workout and I hope you got a great walk in with your SIL.

Belinda - Cool on the motorhome, my DH and I talk about getting one someday. Traveling is so expensive. I hope your DD has fun in Greece, what a great place to be!!

Diane - I was sneezing all day on Sunday, have no clue why but that stopped. I usually get allergies this time of year but it hasn't kicked in yet. Hope it doesn't. Did Box & Pump 7 have kettlebells? I thought it did, maybe I just thought so because of the snatches and compound moves. If there are no kettlebells, maybe I'll try it tomorrow. I agree, supplements are so expensive. I'm trying to condense and just get what I really need. I usually by this coffee cream on Amazon, it's called Nut Pods - love the stuff but it's over $40 for 12 small containers. Crazy. I need to find something more practical, I can't see spending that kind of money on a creamer every month, just stupid. All the powder supplements I take are getting quite expensive, too, especially collagen. Why is that stuff so damn expensive? Sorry about the arthritis, I keep forgetting you have that along with the neck issue. I guess we just continue to do what we do, you know?

Doreen, Roselyn & Roxie - Hope you all are doing well!!

Have a great workout everyone!

Today is very hot and humid, it was 78 degrees at 5:30am with high humidity. I got on the TM and got in a 45-minute uphill walk and traveled 2.5 miles. I got so hot and sweaty, I felt lightheaded, got off the TM and moved my gym into the house. This took me about 15 minutes but well worth it. Next, I did Cathe's STS disc #19 Shoulders and added a few exercises at the end since it is not a long workout. At the end, I did Les Mills Core Attack and that workout darn near killed my abs!!! Total workout time with the gym move was 1 hour 38 minutes and I burned 728 calories. I think after I finish Meso 2 of STS I may go on and do Body Beast Bulk segment. I am loving my older traditional weightlifting workouts and I am not getting hurt going slow and controlled.

Warm Up
Seated Overhead Press Double Wave Load-
12's x 12
14's x 10
17's x 8
12's x 12
14's x 10
17's x 10 TF
Burn Out Seated Overhead Press-
15's x 17 TF

Standing Lateral Raises-
8's x 12, x 10, x 14 TF (go heavier next time)

Seated Rear Flys-
10's x 12, x 10, x 12 TF

Seated Alternating Front Raise- 8's x 12, x 10, x 13 TF (go heavier next time)

Upright Rows- 12's x 12, x 10, x 13 TF (go heavier next time)

Les Mills Core Attack- (had to modify a few exercises)

We have two days of Monsoon rain coming tomorrow so I have to move all the outdoor cushions and rugs inside. I am now happy I can workout in the house while this weather sucks. Starting Monday, the temps will drop 20 degrees!!!!!!!!

Debbie, great job on the workout, that one looks great! Yes, living in CA costs a fortune, but I have lived nowhere else my entire life. Also, at work they pay a ton more than other parts of the country due to the cost of living, but I am sick of it. We would love to move to Montana one day and get a ranch. We need to wait till out son graduates from college first and then we will probably relocate to an easier way of life. But the beach is awesome!

Diane Sue, I hope you get a workout in today. I spend a fortune on vitamins, but I think it is worth it, at least for me. Right now I am doing really well health wise so I am sticking to my vitamin regimen.

Cam, great job on the workout yesterday! I would think it would be hot where you live but it sounds like the weather is manageable for your walks. Do you workout in your house?

Belinda, I would kill for a vacation right now too! We have to spend so much money on college at the moment that a vacation for me is not happening till ski season after the holidays. That is all I want for Christmas this year, to go skiing!

Doreen, I hope you have a great workout today.

Make it a great day. I am staying in the house all day and cleaning since it is too hot and humid to go outside. Not a bad thing since my house needs to be cleaned :)

Today I did Tracy Steen, Sweaty all standing no repeat cardio that Cam did recently. This was tough, but good. I tried to stick to it without the modifiers. A couple of times I added a few seconds of modifiers to get my wind. I did like it and it got my heart rate up :) This was 48 minutes, heart rate 135/161, 267 calories, 4022 steps. I swear it should have been more calories. Oh well! I then did Raw Slim Sculpt with some of the warm up from a Tracy Steen bone building workout that I stopped when her first move was squat thrusts. So Slim Sculpt with the extra warm up was 31 minutes, 146 calories, heart rate 118/139, 1,371 steps. I had to lighten up the weight portions like I did when I did it before. 152's for the first heavier moves, dropped to 10's for most of the other heavier and used 3 and 5 for the light. I am hoping to get in a lower body workout tomorrow and maybe at least some areas of upper on Saturday.
Total today was79 minutes, 413 calories, 5,393 steps.

Debbie, great job on the workout. My shoulder kind of wimps out on me with moves like overhead press to triceps extension. I have to go light or it literally starts shaking. I guess just not ready for too much of that. I did that one not too long ago, I think. I had to modify that move and the pullover a bit. I have used nut pods and have a pint carton right now as I took it on vacation with me. I usually order Califa Farms oat barista or Oatsome oat barista. Both foams well, but Oatsome has a little more fat in it. The fat comes from sunflower oil. These are the only two I will buy. Most throw other types of fats and not good things into them. Califa is my favorite, but when I ordered this last time it had gone up to 24.95 for 6 quarts and Oatsome was 17.98 I think. Anyway I ordered Oatsome. I use it in cold brew iced coffee or Teeccino herbal coffee blends iced. Mornings I make my coffee and put in collagen whip and whip it with my little electric wisk and then use around a quarter cup barista that I whip to foam and top the coffee and sprinkle with cacao powder. I love it that way. Everything has gone up in price. Yes the collagen is so expensive, but it works. I just add some to my groceries each time. I thought I ordered the Garden of Life that is marine and bovine with hyaluronic acid from Walmart, but I got just the grassfed collagen. I go between that and Vital Proteins skin one most of the time. The thing is, Garden of Life comes with a 20 gm collagen scoop. So when I look at servings per container it is the better buy as Vital proteins is one scoop 10 gms.

Jolie, nice work with STS, the treadmill work , and Les Mills Core Attack. I used to do Core Attack a lot as it was a favorite. Maybe I need to revisit it. It has cooled to 88 here which is not too bad if I stay inside. Yesterday evening it was so nice out with a breeze so I sat outside with Gertie and brushed her. I am picky about the supplements I take and choose reliable companies so it does cost an extreme amount. I don't take a multi as they always seem to be lacking somewhere so I pick what I know I am not getting enough of from food, and those that help build bone and repair and help cardiovascular.

Roselyn, nice work withIron series upper body.

Hi,

Long walk outside this morning and SBF 30 min abs + back strengthening.

Diane - we had a Class A 6 years ago. We always took our 2 dogs. DH and I traveled all over the US. Cooper and Sadie get along great. Sadie rules the house, lol. Sorry about the sleep and Amazon yesterday. I hope you got it resolved. Nice job on Tracy Steen, Sweaty all standing no repeat cardio today.

Debbie - DH retired last year, now we have all the time. Of course, with my AID I can't travel the way I want to. Getting an motorhome would solve this problem. We had a Class A motorhome for 15 years. We called around today to see how much a stay would cost at Key West FL. Insane! I also have to travel with all my meds, one have to be refrigerated at all times. Upfront you pay a lot of $$$ but at the end it will pay off, IMO. I also want a washer/dryer in the RV since we plan on traveling for month.

Jolie - I hear on the vacation. I am stuck at our house since covid. We only went to my husband cousin to say our good byes. Oh and we went to see our son in TX. It was nice to get out. I don't ski. Where do you go skiing? I hate the cold. Enjoy your cleaning.

Cam, Roslyn and Roxie - hope you have a great workout and day.

Good night.

This morning I did RAW Heavy Bag/Shadow Boxing with Kelly and her son, Zach. Love this workout. I did the shadow boxing with Kelly. I wanted to hit my heavy bag but with all the issues I'm having, I figured it's safer to shadow box. I used my 2# handweights. Felt great!

Workout was 39 minutes, burned 352 calories, did 2748 steps and HR was140/174.

I am having such an issue with my hair. It is very naturally curly and looks really good but has frizz all the time. Not bad, but it's noticable to me. I've tried everything - hair masques, keratin conditioner, luke warm water to wash with, no heat on it at all with irons or hair dryers. I don't get it. Anyone have a solution to this? If anyone uses a product which helps with this issue, let me know what it is. Thanks! I need to update my profile so you can see how I look now. Short hair days are long gone.

Jolie - Is it odd that you are experiencing humidity? I thought CA got a drier heat than we do. Ohio is always high with humidity in the summer (although this summer was the exception) so I know what it feels like. I hope it cools off for you soon. Great job with your workout yesterday, you kicked butt!! I understand how you feel about living there all your life but I really hope you and your DH can move to Montana. I think you would be so much better off. I've always wanted to visit Montana, I bet the mountains there are beautiful!!

Roselyn - Great job with your workout. Do you ever have issues with your body like muscle or joint issues? You never say you do so if that is the case, you are so lucky!! You always do some really intense workouts and I am very envious!!

Diane - Great job on your workout yesterday, the cardio workout by Tracy sounds good. Is that on youtube or does she have her own website? I am trying to avoid pullovers for a while, they tend to create knots every time I do them. I love pullovers, too, so that bums me out. I am going to buy a Calif unsweetened almond/vanilla milk and use it for coffee creamer. Someone had some here that I used and it was very good. I'm on my last container of NutPods. If I don't like the Calif, I'll rebuy them, but I just hate spending that kind of money on a creamer. Ridiculous. What is collagen whip?

Belinda - Sounds like the RV is what you need. Good luck, hope you can find a good deal on one!! Check Marketplace, etc. Sometimes people are trying to unload their RV just to get out from under it. You might find some good deals going that route.

Cam - Hope you had a great workout yesterday!

Doreen and Roxie - Where are you girls? Hope you are both well.

Hope you all have great workouts!!

Checking in with a 2 mile walk + Penny 45 min. Leg Day. Loved this one. My back had no issues and hopefully I won't experience that again. I need to remember to keep my abs tight.

Jolie, as Debbie said, it is usually humid and some stretches of hot stucky weather in the summer, but this summer has been fabulous. The humidity has been low. Breezy and 70's today. I am loving this weather. I do workout in my house. I have a dedicated workout room. I need my technology when I workout. I typically stream my own music as I hate that techno garbage YT instructors use. I do like CDorner's selection though. Good workouts you are doing!

Diane, glad you liked Tracy's cardio workout. Her cardio is often tough. Good workouts!

Debbie, good workout! I have thick shoulder length straight hair that I definitely have to style. Sometimes I get a little frizzy from blow drying and I think hairspray doesn't help, but I create fake curl. Ha!

Belinda & Roselyn, good workouts.

Belinda, it would be nice for you and your husband to be able to travel like that. I remember going on a longer trip and needing to stop at a laundromat. It was inconvenient and I do not like using those machines. Besides, you do not see many around now.

Debbie, nice workout today. I found stopping all of those pullovers has helped my pain. If I do any it is very light, only a few reps and not back to far. I did read that too many people do not do them right and go back too far. I always end up returning to Kenra hair products and purchase the Platinum products for my hair. I have thin fine hair that is wavy if I let it dry on it's own. I get those little pieces on the ends that tend to not lie down and be smooth with most products. Kenra has a Revive complex that is leave in fortifier that I often use on just the ends. Also Kenra the Platinum Luxe One Leave in all in one miracle spray tames the ends. I use just a tiny bit of it only on the ends and comb it through. If I get too much stuff on the roots I end up with flat hair. I recently thought I would try something new as Kenra has gone up in price, and I bought 100% pure hair gloss shampoo and moisture conditioner. They are only okay and I end up using more of the Kenra products on it than usual. I will go back to Kenra. I should no better because a year ago I spent money on Purology products and was so glad when they were finally gone. Kenra products are expensive but seem to last a very long time. Califa farms has a Barista almond barista in quart size. I purchased my Califa Farms quart of oat milk the first time from Whole Foods. After I bought several I ordered the 6 pack which is shelf stable from Amazon.

Cam, nice work on the walk and Penny leg day. I think about playing my own music and have my bluetooth speaker charged up just in case, but I rarely listen to music. I used to though. In the car I listen to talk radio. I just like the quiet. The only time there is music is if I am practicing piano pieces. Sometimes lately my dog gets up and leaves the room. She used to like to lie under the piano legs. Maybe I should be offended LOL It has been pretty nice here in the evenings.
