We had Easter at my son's house and they grilled and had festivities outside as they have a huge built in grill and patio area for it. Only thing was it was windy and chilly. We were standing around the fire pit to keep warm. It was pretty. Wish it was not so windy though. They had the birthday cake and birthday's celebration indoors. We have birthdays almost every month of the year as family grows so we do them each gathering. I bet there were a couple 100 filled eggs to hunt. It goes quick as there is usually money and this time Chic-fil-a gift cards in some of them.
Monday was PT. Yesterday I did CDorner Butt and Abs which is mostly body weight with a band segment in it, 54:50 minutes, 164 calories, heart rate 103/149, 1,661 steps.
I followed that with Raw Get up and move and modified cardio finisher, 16:52 minutes, heart rate 118/140, 82 calories, 1,894 steps. Total time was 71 minutes, 246 calories, 3,555 steps.
Today I did CDorner Intermediate Step Aerobics live #200, 33 minutes, heart rate 112/140, 141 calories, 2,6674 steps. I followed with using some of Raw shoulder and neck limitations and worked in PT exercises. This was 52 minutes 114 calories, heart rate 85/114, 1,715 steps. I finished off with CDorner mobility flow, first 21 minutes, heart rate 76/92, 31 calories. Total time was, 1 hour 46 minutes, 286 calories.
I have two appointments Friday and two next week for doctors and testing. Not looking forward to the trip or the tests. I hope to have a decent cardio workout tomorrow as I just did not seem to be able to get my heart rate up much today.
Belinda, nice that you got a walk in and workout on Easter. Great job on the Iron series posterior chain today.
Debbie, I have two side by side refrigerators. One in the garage and one in the house and they are full. I miss the freezer as it could not be repaired something about the door warped so it would not seal. The French door refrigerators are nice.
Doreen, that was some Easter. My daughter had to give her dogs something once as when they cleaned their garage and had things setting out the dogs ate rat poison. One did most of the eating from what they got to come back up. They lived through it, but were scared for them. Mine has never got in the trash or seemed interested. Amazing that your dog figured out how to get through the locked dog door. Mine is in the storm door so I can close the main door. Also it does have a slide in door cover to keep her from using it. Great job with the workouts.
Cam, hopefully the coyote moved on. I had a cocker spaniel once and a coyote killed her. My daughter keeps two dogs as she says two would have a better chance in an attack than one alone. Nice work with the ab definition. It does seem to help cutting carbs and limiting dairy. Enjoy your walk with your dog. It is in the 80's today, but still windy. They keep talking about severe storms possible.
Debbie, nice work today and yesterday with Box and Pump. Those workouts are fun and time goes by quick. I hope the Xray went well and maybe you can find a solution to the problem. My heart goes out to you and your family with the upcoming funeral. I hear you on the eating. I have good days and bad days. Holidays and eating out a lot is tough to keep on track.
Jolie, that beach sunrise service sounds beautiful. I remember going to a couple in the hills as a child. I am glad you had a nice long beach walk with your husband.
