Hardcore Fitness Maniacs Februar 2025

Yesterday I walked the pup 3.5 miles in the morning and 1.6 miles in the afternoon. Today I did Cathe STS 2.0 Upper Body 1 and had a great workout till I got a low back spasm while doing Bicep curls. Why!!!! So, I stopped and got down and stretched for about 10 minutes and I was able to continue with the workout, though I went with lite weights for the remainder of the workout. Still got in a great workout anyway. Walking hills is tough on the hamstrings, hip flexors and low back. I do stretch everyday now both mornings and evenings, but I still have a lot of tightness. I have to do hills since I live in the hills. I do have a path that I can get to with flat ground, I try to do that more and more. I am frustrated with my back to say the least. I believe I will be ok, not a structural but soft tissue issue.

Can you believe that we have 80 degrees here next week! We are getting very little winter, it is crazy.

Debbie, great job with the workouts the past two days. I love walking even on the TM, makes me happy for some reason. Does it do the same for you?

Diane Sue, if my back is good to go this weekend, I plan on doing Lite Pyramid Pump, the entire workout. Great job on your workout.

Belinda, great job on the UB workout.

Roselyn, nice job on the Chest and Triceps workout.

Make it a great day. No yard work for me today.

This morning I walked on my treadmill, that is all I wanted to do. I didn't have it in me to find a cardio workout from Kelly that wasn't boxing. So I walked.

Workout was 45 minutes, burned 315 calories, went 2.25 miles, did 5359 steps and HR was124/153.

Jolie - No, I can't say walking makes me happy. Now when I go outside to a park and walk, yes, that makes me happy. I read when I walk on my treadmill, it makes the time fly by. Great job with your workout, sorry to hear about your back. That is so frustrating when stuff like that happens. Hope it's better today.

Diane - Great workout yesterday! That is cool that you have so many boxing gloves. The ones I have work well with my stationary bag. I love that thing, wish I could do more heavy bag workouts. I don't like doing it when my DH is home because it's so loud. He was gone the day I did the workout.

Belinda and Roselyn - Great workouts!

Well, gotta go, I am so busy this week. It's going fast!! Have a great day!

Hi,

Today I did JS Lower body. This one was new to me, really liked it. I also did a dance workout early this morning. Not sure, if I get a workout in tomorrow. I have a follow appointment for my eyes, than a mammogram and infusion.

Jolie - nice job on your walk yesterday. Be carful with your hip/back.

Diane - amazing job on Pyramid Upper body. I use Laura Geller eyeshadow kit and make up too.I ordered food from Germany, it is telling me every day it’s coming. I hope it will come today.

Debbie - nice job on your walk today. I am thinking getting a walking pad for day I can’t walk outside. It’s too cold to go outside.

Waving Hi to everyone that checks in after me. Have a great evening.

I got my new TV and set it up. Waiting on the wall mount though as it is late. Today I did CDorner Step and Strength from this week, 52 minutes, 331 calories, heart rate 137/`63. I used 8# dumbbells for the weight segments. It was pretty fast and I dropped to 5's the last part of triceps work as I felt it in my neck?? Chris was using 10# and Natsia was using 8#. I finished with LMR functional yoga timesaver floor, 20 minutes, 41 calories. I also did some back pod and foam roller for upper back. It is late (tomorrow )heading to bed.

Good Afternoon,

We have had 2 other snowstorms one last week and one this week got 4-6 inches both times. I am still messing with the contacts had another fitting this week they still aren’t right. DH went an saw a pulmonologist he has 5 spots on his lungs but they are tiny and don’t look cancerous but he had to have another CT scan and a breathing test this week so my stress levels have been high. We are spending our weekends watching the grandsons play basketball all day last games are March 1st then I host girls weekend on the 8th.

Debbie-workouts are back to being scarce and just walking. We got Charolette Tilbury this week in store and I am in love with her magic cream.

Today I did Raw Lower Lift & Kick, 44 minutes, 160 calories, heart rate 99/127 followed by LMR Lower Body foam rolling bonus(stopped after calf raises) and Pilates fusion timesaver foam roller, 29 minutes, 60 calories. Total time 73 minutes, 220 calories. I got my boxing gloves today. They are nice gloves and really feel like they are protective of the wrists.

Jolie, good job on the walk and yesterday's STS 2 Upper Body 1. Pyramid Pump both workouts is a long workout. I have done it that way, but prefer upper and lower separately. I checked the worksheets and decided not to do the lower body yesterday because it requires gliders, and I did not feel like arranging things to do it in the hallway or drag weights to the carpeted room.

Debbie, nice work on the treadmill walk yesterday. I get bored on exercise equipment. I used to read when I had a treadmill, and it did help the time go by. I cannot do that on the spin bike or tread climber. I have done it on the tread climber, but sometimes I would be reading and missed a foot staying on the treadle or trying to climb without hanging on and finding myself rolling back. It has a place for a phone. I can set my smaller tablet that I have now in one of the pockets for cups or whatever. My husband used to say he could hear me when I was upstairs hitting the heavy on the stand. It was louder because it hung on chains. We got rid of it and he got me the freestanding one with sand in the bottom cause I did not have room for the other. I still do not have a lot of room. I have to move it out into the room a bit to work around it.

Belinda, good job JS lower body that you have not done before and dance. I hope that your appointments went well. I have been buying some Laura Geller products lately. I like the Jelly Balms which I have 3 of. They are more moisturizing on my lips with heaters running a lot and drying me out. I like the eyeliner and clear lip liner I recently go. I use a lot of IT skin care products and foundation, but they are pretty much only making eyeshadow sticks. The sticks fall out of the tubes. The colors in the palate I just got are really nice and has a blush and highlight as well as eyeshadow. I may try some Laura Geller foundation sometime. It is hard to find foundation light enough. I was happy when IT came out with porcelain foundation.

Roxie, I am sorry you are worrying so much. I hope things are all okay with the tests. I am getting a chest CT the 3rd to check my lungs and the lung nodules that I have had for years. At first they had me going every 6 months to make sure nothing changed. My pulmonologist had me do a Pulmonology Function test earlier this month to check that out and see if I maybe had some asthma. It came out fine. They keep an eye on it. Enjoy the time watching grandsons playing basketball.

Today I did Gloved Up and Sweaty, 42 minutes, 205 calories, heart rate 111/138, 2,632 steps. I followed with Raw stretch flow and some foam roller for my sore hips and legs, 25 minutes, 54 calories. Total time 67 minutes, 259 calories.

Evening,

No workout yesterday. I was to exhausted. Today I did a belly dance.

Diane - great job on Gloved Up and Sweaty today and Raw LB Kickboxing. I need to look into the lip balm. Never heard of IT skin care. Need to look it up. I can never find foundation light enough for my skin either.

Who is pre ordering Cathe’s new series?

Good night.

Belinda, good job on getting in the belly dance today. Most companies lightest make up makes me have a warmer tone as does a lot of creamy light highlight colors in color palettes. Highlights that are a bit yellow look real yellow on me. I use the IT confidence in a cream daytime and nights I use the beauty sleep serum with the beauty sleep cream. I also have some of the other serums that they carry.

Good morning,

Today I did STS 2.0 TB Giant Sets is done. I had a great workout today. I needed a break from Jessica S. Love her workouts.

Diane - I agree on the shades of the highlighters. I like the Laura G. power makeup especially in the summer. I do need to look into the one you mentioned.

Have a great workout and day.

Sorry I have been MIA but I want to stop being online during the weekends, I spend too much time on my phone and laptop these days Friday I went for a 4.2 mile walk. Saturday, I went for a 3 mile walk and Sunday my husband and I went to Newport Beach and walked all around the beach and the neighborhoods and then went to the outdoor mall to walk. Total miles were 6.1 and boy did I sleep good last night. It was 80 degrees all weekend and not a cloud in the sky, so we took advantage of being outside each day.
I have figured out what is wrong with my back having nerve pain. It is fact not my low back, it is a tight Piriformis muscle that pushes on the nerve when aggravated. What causes this? Weak glutes, weak low back and hips that got too far forward from sleeping on my side. I was on YouTube found so many great PT exercises to help with the issue and it is working. I have a severe muscle imbalance that I need to address. I have been doing some yoga and the PT exercises, and it is working. This is great news because it is something that I can fix myself without doctors getting involved. It will be a slow process, but I will have it fixed soon. I will try lifting some lite weights tomorrow and see how it goes. I will stop asap if the nerve pain flares up so I can get this thing resolved. Not much pain at all now since I have been doing all of the exercises.

Great job with the workouts over the weekend everyone! I cannot wait to lift tomorrow if all goes well. I might just do my own thing and not over do it with a Cathe workout.

Make it a great day!

This morning I did RAW Tabata Boxing, it was a fun workout and I'm not sure I've ever done it before. It was watched at one time so I'm assuming I did it but I didn't remember it. Good music by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Michael Bolton - a good combo of music.

I also did RAW Stretch and that felt really good. My S&E event was Saturday and I walked over 18,000 steps!! I was on my feet from 6:30 a.m. to the time I got home which was 6:00 p.m.!! My legs and feet were killing me. I'm still sore everywhere.

The tabata workout was 31 minutes, burned 214 calories, did 2264 steps and HR was 123/156.

Cathy has a new series coming out? Doesn't that woman ever take a break? Yikes!!!

Great workouts everyone, sorry I don't have time for personals but I have been reading your posts. Have a great day!!

Today I did Lift Move and Restore Upper Body 41 minutes, 149 calories followed by raw Yoga Stretch 15 minutes, 42 calories. 56 minutes, 191 calories.

Belinda, nice work on STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets today. I have IT air brush powder foundation I use sometimes, but mostly I use the one in the tube that has 50 spf. There is another powder foundation I have not tried that IT has.

Jolie, good job on the walks Friday, Saturday, and the nice sounding walk with your husband. That is great that you found online PT work that is helping with your problem. I have done that a lot without needing to go to a PT.

Debbie, I looked that Tabata workout up. I am sure I have not done that one. I want to do it too. Wow on the steps that you got in Saturday.

Rosely, nice work on Legs.

Today I woke up very stiff and felt horrible. I used the Theragun right away for about 10 minutes and boy did that do the trick. I needed blood flow into the muscles, what a revelation right! Today's workout was CL Vertical Loading #2 and I did really well with the weights. I went much lighter than normal, but I did not want to aggravate my nerve, and it was fine. This workout is slow and controlled basic weight work and I used a bench instead of the ball. I did most of the leg work with no weights and that worked out great in the end. At the end of the workout, I did a nice stretch, and I feel good!

Debbie, great job with getting in so many steps. I do that on the weekend, and I sleep like the dead! Also, way to go on the kickboxing workout, I miss those types of workouts. I will get back into them again once I resolve this issue I am dealing with. I feel optimistic.

Diane Sue, I love a good stretch now days. I used to never take the time to do it and now I love it. Probably why I am dealing with this current issue in the back and nerve area. Great job on your workout.

Belinda, nice job on the STS workout! I love those workouts.

Have a wonderful day. Sunny and warm here today, and that makes me happy.

I have not burned this many calories in a long time. Power step is fast paced and I was really feeling the intensity. This was the second time for that one. Jolie, good job on getting in CL Vertical loading. That is good that the thera gun took care of the tightness. I have been using a bit of foam rolling before workouts and after along with the stretching. Stretching sure helps recovery go better. I have started liking various methods of stretching and mobility work. I expected to have sore legs this evening after the Killer Leg work. So far a little usual soreness but that is all.

Belinda, nice work on LMR functional core and belly dance today. I like the LMR Core workout. When short on time I do the bonus core.

Debbie, great job on Raw Upper Body and Abs. Oh, oh on the shoulder knot. I hate when that happens. Better to be careful so the knot eases up.

Weird morning. Our internet was down yet we were receiving emails. WTH?? So I couldn't get on the RAW channel to do the workout I planned on doing. Instead I just walked on my treadmill which might have been better because this knot is really bothering me. I was planning on doing Cardio Crush 3.

I walked for 30 minutes, burned 219 calories, went 1.42 miles, did 3429 steps and HR was 124/157.

I also did my PT exercises that has helped me with this problem in the past. I need to keep doing these periodically so that I don't go through this knot pain. I feel better today but I will take it easy.

Jolie - Great job on your workout! No wonder your legs are in such great shape, walking 18,000 steps on the weekends is an incredible workout. No wonder you're losing weight!!

Belinda - Nice job on your workout yesterday!

Diane - Wow, nice calorie burn yesterday!! I think you will be sore today! LOL!! Glad you are feeling better, you are getting in some good workouts.

Have a great day everyone!
