Yesterday I did CDorner Step Aerobics # 448 Soul Disco 43 minutes, 280 calories, heart rate 138/167 ending with LMR Pilates Timesaver #2 foam roller and mini ball 25 minutes, 64 calories, heart rate 83/106. Total time was 68 minutes, 344 calories.
Today I did STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets Timesaver #1 no group 3 47 minutes, 170 calories, heart rate 100/135.
I ended with LMR upper foam roller(no mini workout) and Raw Yoga Stretch, 20 minutes, 52 calories. Total time 67 minutes, 222 calories.
Busy getting things together for tomorrow's family birthdays. Cake made a stuff started for a cheesy chicken recipe. Fixing for 16-17 people. My husband's usual German chocolate cake. Maybe next week will be calmer with no appointments or anything. I intended to do the whole Giant Sets, but somehow ended up with the timesaver. I was sort of glad after doing the two groupings. It is snowing again. Hoping it warms up above freezing tomorrow.

Debbie, nice job on Raw Kickboxing #6 yesterday. I was pouring over her workouts yesterday and cannot remember what is on most of them. I have started a second binder as she has so many workouts now. I have no intentions of doing that waistline workout. I still have some on and off rib pain and enough spinal issues.

Belinda, I got that email. I think I downloaded it to my tablet. I am not sure though. Everything has been pretty rushed around here. I am glad the eye is okay. It makes sense though with the eye drops and everything. Nice work on getting in a dance workout. I am sure you are happy being cleared to work out again.
 
Yesterday I went to meet my parents for breakfast so no workout or walk in the morning. In the afternoon I took the pup for a 2 mile walk and it was great to get in some movement after a heavier than normal breakfast. Today I did CL #465 Strong and Fit All Upper Body, I really like this no repeat workout. I think no repeat workouts are now my go to it possible or slow and steady weightlifting old school workouts. I will walk the pup 2 miles this afternoon.

Diane Sue, my stacked sets upper body workout did not have those exercises in it, I could never do those now days. Mine was more traditional weight exercises but it did go fast which I had to pause a lot so I would not get injured. Cathe has so many injuries lately and still does the fast workouts, I wonder why?

Belinda, great to hear your eyes are ok and that you are cleared to do your workouts again!

Debbie, I will start doing STS and STS 2.0 again when I can get back into my garage gym with my pully workout equipment and heavier weights as soon as it gets warmer. I love the lat pulldown machine and cable 1 arm rows ect. I do not get injured when I use machines verses free weights.

Today I did a live belly dance with the veil. I loved the dance choreography today. Very fun. I am in my 2nd year of belly dancing. I am doing more intermediate/advanced choreography.

Diane - glad you were able to download the freebie too. It does make sense with all the drops during and after surgery they put into my eyes. I am on my last week of those drops. On top you are not allowed to get water into your eyes. I haven’t worn makeup since my surgeries. I can wear and do what I did before my surgeries. I am so happy I am cleared to work out again. Great job on the Soul Disco, that one looks great.

I'm off today for President's Day so I had extra time to workout. Love when I an do this!! So I did RAW Box & Pump 2 and had a great workout. I really like this one. It's fast and furious. LOL!!

Anyways, this was the workout:

Boxing Drill - 1.5# Egg Weights

This was 40 minutes and I burned 360 calories

Then I got on my treadmill and walked for 1.33 miles. Total workout time was 1 hour and 10 minutes, burned 625 calories (WOO HOO!!), did 6608 steps and HR was 149/190. Loved it!!

We got a ton of snow yesterday and it is so cold today. So glad I don't have to go in to work. This has been some winter. We haven't seen anything like this in years.

Belinda - So glad you were cleared to workout again! Nice job with your Belly Dance workout!

Jolie - Nice job with your workouts lately! I bet you will be happy to be back in your garage gym!! I sure hope it starts getting warmer here soon, this winter has been brutal!!

Diane - I know what you mean, there are so many RAW workouts out there and I probably haven't done about half of them if not more. I have my favorites I keep going back to. There are many I want to try but just haven't. great job with your workout on Saturday!

Today I did week 2 Month 3 of JS rotation. I did a TB workout plus SBF quick upper body and back strengthen workout. Meeting up with DD and DIL.

Debbie - nicely done this morning. Thank you. I am so happy I am back. I have to work up to the weights I used before my surgery.

Today I did Raw Kickbox #5 40 minutes, 186 calories, heart rate 122/158, LMR functional core timesaver 1st half, 22 minutes, 74 calories heart rate 92/114, and LMR Functional Yoga Fusion Timesaver floor, 20 minutes, 42 calories. Total time was 82 minutes, 302 calories, 2,384 steps. I like this kickbox workout, and have done it several times. Today I should have kept my eye on Kelly, because I was watching the other lady trip on the mat and caught my foot on the edge of mine. I knocked the remotes all went flying and somehow paused the workout. My husband ordered me a Fire TV television. I can't wait to get it so I do not have to waste time trying to get my tv to have a normal color picture. I have had fluorescent pink and green blurred and all green screen with occasional black and white. If I plug and unplug waiting in between I can eventually get the picture. Weather says significant snowfall tomorrow. It is really cold.

Jolie, nice work on the walk yesterday and today's CL 465 Strong and Fit all upper body workout. I thought there was some plyo pushups on the step and pushups as well as dips. Maybe I was thinking of something other than Strong Body Stacked Sets Upper Body. I prefer that the weight workouts were slower. Sometimes I feel like I am being rushed through the moves.

Belinda, good job on the belly dance yesterday and todays JS Total Body and SBF Upper Body and Back Strengthen workouts. Nice work on learning the belly dance moves and advancing.

Debbie, great job on Raw Box and Pump 2 and treadmill. You really burned a lot of calories today. Even when I pull out my binder of Kelly's workouts there are so many in the strength and intervals sections. I have dividers so I can at least get that part. Over the last year and a half I have tried to remember to date the workouts. The latest though I have not done a lot of.

Hello everyone! This morning I did RAW TLC Heavy Bag (what does TLC stand for?) which was really fun. I haven't done a heavy bag workout in a while. I had to wear my elbow strap as my left elbow has been hurting for a few days. Not sure why?

My HR wasn't really getting up that high because my watch was back on my arm more in order for me to get my gloves on. It says I burned 153 calories and maybe that's true. It was a 40 minute workout.

Then I walked on my treadmill for about 15 minutes to get some steps in and burn more calories.

The total workout was 53 minutes, burned 262 calories, went .78 miles on the treadmill, did 3591 steps total and HR was 105/138.

I don't have time for personals today. My Solo & Ensemble is this Saturday and I'm crazy busy at work. We keep have snow days, the schools are out again today due to the cold weather. It's -10 here this morning.

Today I had an excellent workout. I did CL #276 All In Upper Body and did really well with my weights today. I noticed Cathe has been having a few surgeries due to injuries from her life in fitness. With that said, I wonder why she continues to do workouts that are so fast paced and your basically swinging the weights and really loosing form during the exercise. I would think that she would slow it down a bit, like in her earlier workouts and take her time and focus on form not rep counts and the amount of exercises she can fit into a workout. I like the good old fashion weight lifting with a rest between sets and focusing on form and doing the exercise controlled and correctly. I have no clue why she has gravitated to this style of workouts in the past 10 years. She can still do the same workout but darn, slow it down! I had to get that off my chest. Also, God forbid we get to lift heavier and actually develop muscles :)

Debbie, great job with the workout yesterday and today, I bet having the extra time is so nice for you. I have 70 degrees here this coming weekend, we have not had much of a winter so far. It is because of El Nina, this does not give us much winter in the South West areas.

Diane Sue, great job with the workout yesterday! I hope you like your new TV!

Today I did Lift Move & Restore Functional Lower Body, 56 minutes, 178 calories followed by LMR Pilates timesaver foam roller and lower foam rolling portion skipping the workout part at the end, 28 minutes, 57 calories. I upped some of the moves like deadlifts and sumo squat to 20# and others 15#. 12# feels really light to me. Total time was 84 minutes, 235 calories. I decided not to do Total Body as my shoulders, back and neck are giving me lots of discomfort. I think I should have not skipped buying my usual joint supplements of glucosamine chondroitin with ASU , Omegas, and Curcumin. My joints are not pleased.

Debbie, good job on TLC Heavy Bag. I went back to look at an older dvd that Kelly did called TLC (Train Like A Contender) so that is probably what she had in mind with the Raw workouts. I have some new gray and pink trim Everlast gloves coming Thursday. Hopefully I can enjoy some heavy bag work. My old blue ones started peeling off. I never wrap the strap on the gloves very tight on the arm with the watch. I can't see the watch unless there is a little break. I have some other gloves that leave the thumb free and does not wrap over the watch that I use sometimes. They just do not seem quite as well padded if I want to punch the daylights out of the bag. Schools are out with the bad weather here.

Jolie, I great job on CL #276 All In Upper Body today. I am glad it went well. Cathe is sure resilient. She seems to bounce back quickly after the surgeries. I am glad she is coming up with programs to help with recovery. The STS workouts are not that fast paced. The live ones always seemed a bit fast, but I have not used them in a few years. I tend to be a more cautious at this point in my life. Lifting the weights I used to lift could cause injuries and recovery is not so good with bone density issues and rheumatoid arthritis. I worry about Kelly Coffey as well with her newer idea on jump training. Those workouts I am avoiding. I can get away with a few jacks and not often. Cathe's 2023 series has a fun kickboxing workout with bonus jump rope. I think they try to do stuff for every age group. Probably rough on their bodies though.
I just switched to plant based calcium to see if it helps with my bone density. I took life extension for a year after the shoulder surgery and my bone density was down. This year I have stuck with Thorne bone support. This month I decided to switch type of calcium/bone support. I cannot do Jarrow. It caused digestive problems.

Belinda, nice work with the dance workout and SBF back. I am surprised Cathe is already working on a follow up workout for LMR. I am sure that I will be interested. I already have a firestick. I am getting the Fire TV Television 45 inch smart TV :) I am excited. The one I have been using was my dad's that I got when he passed away 9 years ago.

Today I did Pyramid Pump Timesaver Upper Body Up 3 sets, 45 minutes, 139 calories, heart rate 92/127. I also did LMR Cardio Bonus, 14 minutes, 89 calories, heart rate 130/167. Total time 59 minutes, 228 calories.
I did the foam rolling warm up for upper body off of LMR before starting. When I finished and switched to youtube for a shorter stretch the tv went to blurry hot pink and lime green, so I just did more foam rolling and my own stretching. TV was supposed to be here along with the gloves and a Laura Geller eyeshadow kit, but it now says tomorrow. I halfway expected that when it never showed out for deliver.

Debbie, great job on Raw Push and Raw Pull and treadmill today. I have 3 pair of gloves, one is combat gloves, but they are also losing the leather off of them. They always smelled like leather, but I think the white parts were probably not. I have had them all for years. The combat ones I could wrap below my watch. They are not padded enough to hit the bag hard, but good for kickboxing without the bag.
I do feel like I am building up a little more strength again.

Roxie, I missed your post yesterday. I hope things are going well.

Belinda, good job on JS Upper Body and SBF mat work and being able to use heavier weights.
