Well, I'm still here. Joey told me the fridge died. So he has to stay there until at least Sat. until they deliver a new one for us. In the meantime, he will paint the bathroom and hopefully get started in the hallway or his bedroom.
In the meantime for me, I hit a slump and needed to get out of it. I did some soul searching and came up with something in the back of my mind that I have always wanted to try. What better time than to do it now. Body Building. I wanted it to be with Cathe DVD's but not certain on how I should approach it. So, I got on the Ask Cathe forum and asked her if she had the time to help guide me with a rotation. She did better than that and I now have my workouts cut out for me for at (I think) 8 months. OMG! She was so generous with her time to set it all up for me. I couldn't be more pleased. Bless her heart. I am so thrilled!
Cathe even told me what diet to go on. The Paleo Diet, so I got that now on my Kindle along with the cookbook. There are several authors out there and chose Loren Cordain. He seemed to have the greater knowledge under his belt.
The first thing on the list is STS. Got out the STS Users Guide. Today I did STS meso 1 Chest, Shoulders & Biceps with the stretching at the end. Whew! My body is pure jello now and needed a rest before the ab work. Did Ab Circuits - Yoga-Inspired Abs and the stretch after that. Took a long hot soak in the tub. I think this was a little less than two hours to do. At least it felt like that.
I didn't time myself though. Just the thing I needed to jump start my goals. After 3 1/2 months, this will complete phase 1. Then on to other things as described by Cathe.
I'm sorry for Joey, but I really need more than TBS all the time, so unless he wants to exercise with me, we won't be exercising together. At least not this year. Hope sometimes he will join in with me, he knows he is welcome.
Laura, Great job on Hitt 40/20. Subbing is good. Also great job on teaching TT and did a Barre & Core workout. I finally got out of my slump. It's easy ot get into one. It was so awful, but I'm encouraged again, thanks to Cathe.
Take care,
Janie
