So many emotional and heartfelt posts since I last sat down with you all. I am back to doing a Cathe rotation: the March rotation. It's nice to have Cathe make that decision for the day and I know that there is always an underlying logic to her rotations. After the first week, it seems like the legs will be having "it" this month. Toby and I continue to train. This past week, we had our first C-WAGS (Canine Work and Games) league at Pup 'N Iron. We are entered in Rally Zoom and Obedience level 1. The league runs for 6 weeks, every Tuesday night. We qualified in both classes, receiving an 89 in Zoom and a 90 in Obedience. Monday and Wednesday night are CGC prep and Thursday night we had our first agility class. For our first class, we worked on getting Toby comfortable with the low jumps and the tunnel. He really fought the tunnel but once he got through it, the lightbulb clicked on and I think he would have run around and through that tunnel all night. The lightbulb has not clicked on with the jumps but he got over them a couple of times. A fun class and looking forward to many more.
Shadowpup: you sure had alot to deal with. I'm sure just typing out that entry was emotional. I am happy that you still have Rapscallion and Pumpkin with you and that you and Clara (I could not remember her name) have maintained your relationship. I can't imagine having to go for three years in order to get through probate. I know every state is different and everyone has different situations to contend with for various reasons. Joe always believed that he would pass first and he/we had simplified as much as we could wrt planning and it worked out that I only had to wait 60 days to finalize probate. I still have a few things to change--right now I'm focused on getting taxes done and filed. Once I am finished with that, I will move on to the next thing. One of these days, Toby and I need to drive up your way to visit. You are so close....
Laura: as hard as it is for you to have your daughter away, I think Eliza is, in some ways, your testament to surviving and working through your grief for Sophia. We will miss you while you are in Africa but look foward to hearing about your travels upon your return.
Cindy: welcome back. We know when you are gone for awhile that it is because you are so busy with your family. Skiing is a workout for the legs, isn't it? I"ve never tried skiing. Mostly because I'm not a big fan of snow and cold.
Janie: how are things going? From your FB posts, you seem to be in a bit of a funk of late?
