Getting Our Licks In!

Rest day today. We may go to the beach tomorrow or the next day? I hope anyway. Then to start STS.

Michelle, Yoga takes a lot of practice, and it seems you learn and get stronger every time you do it. I love her workouts. I mostly do Aerobic Yoga. That's my all time favorite. It's an old one that I use most of the time. I don't think you can purchase or find it anymore. The instructors are Ganga White and Tracey Rich. They make others, but this one in particular is the best. I've tried to find it for someone, but I can't.

We have a doggy door that goes into a kennel from inside our house. Our gang can come and go as they please. It's a big place for a kennel. There is even enough room for two cats and animal visitors. It also has a ceiling type contraption made of wire so the preying birds won't get our small animals. They seem to love it in there. Lots of birds to look at, mice to chase and (um catch), but they can't run inside there. Not that much room. There is a picnic table to sit with the animals and play with them while they are outside, a post where the kitties climb onto, so they can get higher up, a dog house for when someone might want to be alone or stay out of the rain, (that's hardly used), grass, flowers, a thing-a-ma-jig where it holds water and pours water into a bowl. The kennel itself is made of wire that is sturdy and durable. Most of all it's safe from outside animals/neighbor dogs.

I get away with not walking with Rolly because I'm bigger than he is.:D Besides, he does play with the kitties and runs like a maniac inside the house, but, that's probably because he's bored. I feel guilty when I don't walk him.

Have a good one,

Janie

Well, this is it, the last day before I go back for year 23! Yep, 23 years of teaching, and I love it! An interesting, different summer then last. Last year I hiked and biked an awful lot, this year not very much at all, but I did add American Freestyle Karate! Broadening my horizons to say the least. AND the Cathe road trip. I was looking at the pictures on Flicker, and it brought back so many memories. Good times, thats for sure.

Yesterday I did STS 4, bi's, shoulders and chest. I need to get 30 pound dumbbells for my chest flys. I used plate mates and my 2 pound weighted gloves with my 25's, so I was up to 28.25 pounds, thats as close as I could get to the 31 my workout card called for. Looks like another trip to Play It Again Sports!! What got me, was 20 pound curls near the end of the workout. Geesh! I used to think 15 was hard. Uh, not so much anymore! I did 8 reps with 20 and then the last 7 with 15. But, I'm gonna get all 15 with 20 pound dumbbells one of these days. Wait and see!!

Today was HiiT 30/30 and Ab Circuit pilates. All I know is that when I do HiiT, its like turning on a faucet. I just pour sweat. Reminds me of how it used to be when I did Basic Step a few years ago. So, maybe, perhaps, in a few years, HiiT will be a piece of cake. HA! I don't weinee the step to a 6 inch step either. Cathe does it on 8 inches, so Catchick65 does it on an 8 inch step. OY!

Janie, I didn't realize you had kitties. Well, maybe I did, but its always "Rolly, Rolly, Rolly." He must be your favorite. :D

Hi all,

Back just for the weekend - that trip was from Sunday morning until after midnight Friday, and I'm leaving again before 6am Monday. Very tight. However, have to say, that was quite a productive trip and this next one should be less strenuous as well as being shorter - I think I get home Thursday afternoon.

Yesterday I did a little less than maybe I should have, as my body was crying out for a nap, so I gave it a four hour long one (!!!!) Oh well. However, I did get both Sierra and Atreides out for a ride. Both of them were absolutely delighted! My husband had cut down the grass in one of the flat areas, and we used that for a gallop. Since Atreides has been so solid this year, I also indulged us both in another nice gallop sequence through the path in our woods. That's trickier, since it winds quite a bit and the trees are near the side, and it's not a groomed trail - we both have to be in sync for it to be safe. However, there's such a tremendous feeling of unity when both you and your horse are galloping around windy trails, bending together in balance, that it's worth it! We both came back happy. Today, hope to get Picante out, and possibly someone else can go twice. The dogs had their walk in the morning, and inspired by all of you I did STS Meso 1 Legs (disk 3). Was very delighted not to have lost strength, and to have gained a little. But I sure do need a squat rack if I'm going to use a bar on my shoulder. I wear a 40 pound vest, and the bar was set at 64, which was actually light even for high reps, but I had trouble safely pressing it up and settling it down on my shoulders.

While on travel this time I cut back a little and did only one Cardio Coach as well as one TRX upper body day despite having six days on the road. Three of the days I had rather long walks, logging over 10K steps those days, but mainly I cut back on the focused workouts because the flight out was one of *those* flights where nothing goes right. I spent almost 24 hours in airports and planes, and it was supposed to be less than half that. GRRR. Left me entirely exhausted and that the first two days of the trip I was not up to much. The first and last days were almost at the level of a workout due to the weight I was carting around in and out of planes, as well as doing my usual half hour plus walks in the airports.... Still, it's being active not working out. Hoping for better things this trip.

Back for personals later, I hope! In the meantime, kudos to you, Renee, for 23 years in the classroom! That's amazing! You've worked with two generations of kids, approximately - are those you taught your first year sending you their kids this year, do you think? You might want to consider a pair of adjustable weights. Right around the 30 pound mark is when I went for that option. Often they go on sale at Amazon. It's worth investing in a good quality set - the cheaper ones are a pain. The hardest choice is whether you want the rather bulky ones that go to 90 pounds each (which is what I chose, makes them useful for squats and lunges and so on too) or the less bulky (but still bulky) ones that go to 50 (I have considered getting those also). Or, there's the option of getting a dumbbell-sized bar and using your plates. I'm personally torn between those last two options because the bulky big ones are just plain inconvenient for some of the upper body work. My dumbbells go up to 35 pounds now, which is sort of working.

Walked Rolly today for about an hour. He just loved it. And before that, Joey took him out for a very short one. I'm getting ready later today to do a cardio workout, just don't know which one yet. Have to look through them.

Note: I watched Food Inc. yesterday with my Joey. It's about our food supply, what they (companies) are putting into it, hogging, monopolizing the food industry right from under the farmers, treating animals, workers, and us the consumers with no respect at all. Hiring illegal immigrants while they work for low wages, and after being here for 10-15 years, boarder patrol was called in to ship them back to Mexico. They (companies) hire the poor uneducated, for low wages and with no benefit or a union and take advantage of their circumstances to have to continue working or lose their jobs. They are a dime a dozen and can be replaced. The companies are usually based within a 100 mile radius of poor people just for that reason. They don't know any better.

We can fight back (vote as you will) with our money, purchasing wholesome healthy food, buying from USA, passing laws, (if I knew the ins and outs of the law, I would be more of an activist and help out). Please watch Food Inc. you won't believe what is happening out there. We are watching through a veil (as the show describes) and little by little, as things pop up in the news, the veil is loosing it's layers. Example: E Coli and deaths of our children, chemicals in our food, remember the incident of Oprah being sued by the beef companies, farmers not being able to grow their own seed...It scares the hell out of me. There is much more to it, you just won't believe what is happening out there.

Renee, Congratulations on needing to buy 30 dumb bells! Great job on your reps with higher poundage too! You are improving so much, right before our eyes. I want to do STS so badly I can taste it. Joey and I will be going to the ocean tomorrow and will be back Tues. evening. Wednesday I will start the cardios and starting Monday we will start the heavy stuff. Yea! Great job on HITT 30/30 and abs today.

OMG! School already? Congratulations again, for 23 years of teaching! WOW! You are so amazing and needed in this world of ours. Good for you!

The kitties are Joey's pure and simple. One of them (Winkle) is diabetic and I have to give him two shots a day. So, he doesn't like me much. The other one cares less, as long as Joey is around. Rolly is mine, pure and simple. LOL:D

Deborah, You amaze me with traveling all the time and still have a home life. It's not for everyone (me) and you do a fantastic job of it. Not sure detail by detail what you do, but I know it's very important. I'm so glad you are having successful trips.

Galloping on a horse has got to be the most wonderful thing to do. When I was much younger I did it a few times, and will always remember that feeling.

I do have a squat rack with the system I have and it's needed for sure. Especially when it comes to safety. The muscle we use for that can take a lot of poundage, but like you and Cathe says, it's to hard for women to handle it over our heads. I also have a diver's weight belt @ 20 lbs., and sometimes use a 20 lb. vest. Then am able to add enough on the barbell to have enough weight on to do the squats and still be able to use the barbell over my head and back down again. Rather use the rack though.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with the airports. I know it can be very stressful and frustrating. You are a trooper.

Take care and have a great day everyone,

Janie

Another day with Shiva Rea and her beginner's flow yoga. I did the first 3 sections and watched the 4th. The last section is a relaxation breathing exercise. That one looked like a good end of day exercise, maybe right before going to bed.

Sister: good jobs on the weights. You are doing fantastic. Twenty-three years of teaching--that's a long time. I'm trying to remember where you started out--what was the name of that county? Then you came to Fredericksburg and taught at King George, then Florida for a year, then back to the 'burg and Stafford County, and then Forest Elementary. Of course, we both know that one of your youngsters (last name Mason) grew up to join the Army National Guard and was killed in Iraq. That still makes me really sad. He was following a family tradition and I know his family was very proud of him.

Shadowpup: all the fun has gone out of flying since 9/11. The economic downturn hasn't helped either. It's such a chore. I'm glad to hear that you've gotten to spend some time with the children this weekend. I know they are loving the attention.

Janie: sounds like you have quite a set up for your pets. It's good that Rolly likes to play by himself. It shows that he is a happy, well adjusted pup. Does he have many dog playmates? Ripken has quite a few dogs that he has grown up with in our neighborhood and at the marina and he likes to do the sniff the butt thing and chase around a little, but certainly not as much as when he was a pup.

It's raining here so it looks like we are going to pack up and head home a bit early. Need to get some lunch first. And try to get back later today.

Janie, Thanks!!! You have decided me - safety first! I know myself:eek: I will keep pushing to do squats with the bar on my shoulders, and won't ever get my arms to keep up with my legs; better to have a way to work out safely . The bar on shoulder is so much more comfortable for both squats and lunges, at least it is now that I have that 'manta ray' shoulder pad, and I can do both narrow and wide angle squats. A pair of dumbbells in hand works fine for the most part but it does put extra strain on my wrists, and I can't do wide angle squats very well, and the narrow ones put more pressure on my knees, so I'd been limiting those. I went ahead and ordered those Valeo squat stands. That will be fine until we redo the basement, maybe this winter maybe next. I'll put a power rack in if one can fit, but a second squat rack would still be nice. Hopefully these will show up next week! That will be a fun treat.

Rolly and the kittie's run area sounds wonderful. Dogs like to have a den, and they like to look around at the outdoors, and they need to be safe at the same time. What a lucky dog and kitty-pride you have!

Have heard about Food Inc. I have the book related to the movie. Scary stuff. Definitely helps to keep me away from processed and fast foods, that's for sure. And yes, I am such a home body. The constant travel isn't for me. But, sometimes you just have to be there in person, and I just remind myself of my goals, grit my teeth, and get on the plane.

Michelle, I missed that you started doing yoga. Sounds like you are enjoying it. Laura is a great influence on us :) You are absolutely right about the travel issues ... it just isn't the same. BTW, they are testing out the new millimeter wave detection facility at DCA. Kind of interesting to see it. I wasn't one of those picked to go through, but I've used one before on our worksite. One of our scientists was involved in the early research on that technology and so we have them for use as body scanners for our fitness programs. They give not just weight but also muscle/bone/fat percentages, body measurements, and so on. It would be kind of fun to get that feedback *P R I V A T E L Y* as part of flying!

Shoegal, it's kind of bittersweet to grow out of a workout, isn't it. I very reluctantly put my first kettlebell dvd ever in our ebay sale pile. It's just not challenging enough. Said to myself, "someone will love it more, and be delighted to get it used for a decent price", and said goodbye. Sigh. (I have a feeling your step dvds are about my speed, though!) If we had a workout blender for all of these old workouts, beyond just the Cathe's, you could piece those old faves together into a fantastically difficult sequence! Technology will get us there one of these days :):):)

ETA: Just remembered, Shoegal, I meant to tell you about a new (to me) author I found. Laura King. She has a series that is written from the perspective a Sherlock Holmes' young wife Mary Russell (the author actually pulls that off in a believable way, which I didn't think possible), who he married after retiring to raise bees. They do the sort of thing you'd expect from a couple like that. I started with one of the newest ones in the series, and have now bought the entire series and am devouring it from the beginning. Since you liked Study in Scarlet you might enjoy this series also.

Hi to Laura and Elle!

This morning was STS Disc 3, Legs. Yuch--because I just did B&G on Friday and I'm still feeling that workout but moaning about it doesn't make it better. So, I put on my good mental attitude and got the workout done. I wasn't loving those wall squats with the stability ball this morning--they sure are tough but I do enjoy the bonus leg work at the end. I know that is sister's favorite part too.;)

I've got a very busy week coming up. I have meetings at Quantico from one end of the base to the other today. We've been getting quite a bit of rain this month and are expecting more later today. I'm going to be on the side of the base that has lots of construction going on and I'm sure it's a mud pit already. I may need to pack my muck lucks just to be on the safe side.

Sister: hope you enjoy your first day back with the teachers.

Shadowpup: thanks for the heads up on DCA--something to look forward to next time I fly out of National.

Hi to Shoegal, Laura, Elle, and Janie.
Hope everyone has a great Monday.

Ewww - Back to work! My heart goes out to Catchick - even if you love it - the life of leisure is a little bit better. Congrats though on 23yrs.

I, for one, couldn't wait to get out of work on Friday. We went to a friend's house for a great dinner. They take FOREVER to cook it - so it was a rather long evening - this is not a complaint - just an observation. I also got some late birthday gifts - really good things too I've been wanting. I got 2 new Christi Taylor workouts - woo hoo!! and the yoga dvd with Bethenny Frankel. This came highly reccomended so I'm intrigued - I think I'll do this tonight!

Saturday did some CLEANING!!! I was in heaven - did some chores that have taken a back seat to my busy social schedule. I cooked up a little something to take to my cousin's housewarming party. Had a lovely time there too.

Shadowpup - You know, we are nearing the end of "The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes" - sadly, we have just a few more stories to go. These stories are neat because sometimes they are told by Sherlock himself & sometimes in the third person - and now he is in retirement and keeping bees in the country!!!. The books by Laura King sound fantastic. I will be on the lookout - I do have to wonder how she pulled off giving Sherlock a wife!!

Michelle - glad you got a little weather reprieve - a little less hot & humid. I have heard alot about Shiva Rea from other sites but I don't know anything at all about it - but you seem to be enjoying it. The relaxation poses are my favorite - just a bunch of breathing and lying still - yes - sometimes it is soooo relaxing I want to fall asleep.;)

Laura - back from vacation - sorry about the internet - Bo will get to it eventually. My DH finally got to a doing some work up in our closet - that has taken YEARS to get to. I'm not complaining - ok, yes, I am - YEARS!!! It still isn't finished. He'll probably get to finishing it up a couple years from now. :p:rolleyes:

Janie - your outdoor kennel sounded lovely - your animals are so lucky you take such great care of them. Rolly especially - he must just love taking walks with his mom!!

Ok - back to work - hope you all have a great day!!

Joey and I walked Rolly this morning (about 30 min.) before the heat gets to hot.

Michelle, Great job on Shive Rea yoga. No, Rolly doesn't have any playmates, but we play a lot with him. Also great job on STS, I know it's not easy. I'm proud of you to continue with it anyway. How's your legs today? We'll be starting STS coming Mon. Can't wait!

Deborah, I'm glad you are purchasing Valeo squat stands for now. It's better safe than sorry when it comes to preventive injuries. I bet once the basement is redone, your gym will be amazing! Need to see that once it's done. Pictures please? I knew that you were a home body. Otherwise you wouldn't have so many animals to love. You do what you have to do in life, that's all there is to it. Enjoy everyone when you can.:)

Shoegal, Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy Birthday to Shoegal, Happy Birthday to you. And Many More!

I didn't know it was your birthday. Sorry for the belated song, but wanted you to know that I wanted to sing this to you. It's a little off tune.

I'm going to check out Bethenny Frankel and see what it is all about. It does sound interesting. Let us know how to like it.

Oh no, don't get me started on cleanMax again. Although I see some things that need to be done (again). Never ending isn't it?

Take care everyone and have a wonderful evening.

Janie

Did Body by Bethenny - it is led by Kristen McGee (I think) last night. I've done a bit of yoga before but I don't do it regularly or often. I really liked this - the time just flew by. She tacks on a little arm routine - nothing hard believe me, but Bethenny seemed to be bushed afterwards. :p:D Then something called a Booty blast - this was like 5 minutes - and it was very simple. They said you could do this anywhere - like in the airport or supermarket - well, I don't think so- maybe if I found some privacy I would. I will do Christi Taylor tonight!!! I'm really excited about these new workouts.

Janie - it is not my birthday - it was back in June - these were late gifts from a friend of mine (really late - months late) - but it was very nice to get them this far out - it prevents me from buying more tapes for myself!! I do appreciate the song -off tune or not - it was nice to hear !! Thank you.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

LOL!!Shoegal,

I thought you had a birthday, but I wanted to cover all bases and leave nobody out. I'm not very good at keeping track of birthdays.

It was nice just to sing again in hopes to give you warm fuzzies.:D

I checked out Bethenny, and it looks interesting. Hmmmmmmm.

Quick post: today was Step Moves and STS yoga-inspired abs. I'm starting to like the yoga-inspired abs workout, maybe because I have a better sense of what I'm supposed to be doing. Feeling my legs big-time after the STS legs workout yesterday. Tomorrow: disc 4.

I'll try to get back later for personals.

Hi everybody!

Third day back at school. Same old stuff, different year. I am adjusting to my new schedule. I'm up by 4:50, feed the animals, drink a protein shake, and am usually working out no later then 5:20. OY! And everything will move up at least 20 minutes once the kids come back to school. Right now I don't have to be at school until 8:00, but once the school year really kicks in, it will be 7:30. Yippy skippy! But I am finding that working out first thing in the morning beats finding the energy to do it once I get home.

Mesocycle 1 is so draining. It really packs a punch. I finished the second week of weight lifting this morning. I have MMA: KB tomorrow, and then a rest day. Come on, rest day! I went to karate twice this week already. I don't like going back to back days, but due to my schedule this week, its what fit. So, my legs are killing me. We have been working flip kicks and round house kicks this week. Standing/balancing on one leg and holding the other in an extended flip kick pose. Oh lord, that is difficult. If done correctly, you feel it in your glutes, lower back, and thigh. Boy do I feel it! Today (STS) it was legs, and boy was it hard, but its done! Hooray!

Okay, I guess thats all for now. Take care, everybody!

~Renee

Good morning,
STS disc 4, chest, shoulders, and biceps this morning. Lots of pushups in meso 1. This week was better than last week on those. Bicep curls, hammer curls, concentration curls, lots and lots of curls. If my hair had a tenth of the curls that I did this morning, I'd be happy. Speaking of hair--it's a wet dog Wednesday which means a bad hair day for me and Ripken.:(

Sister: I see that you went with the morning exercise option. That would have been my choice.;) Now when you get home this evening you can relax.

Shoegal: I've never heard of body by Bethenny. I'll have to google that and check it out. You are so much more diverse with your workouts in terms of using different instructors. I like Cathe so much, it's hard for me to try anyone else. I have to thank Elle for recommending Shiva Rea for yoga; I am very happy with her beginner's yoga dvd.

Janie: have you gone to the beach. If so, hope you are having a good time.

Laura: we haven't heard from you in a few days. Have you been overwhelmed with after-vacation, back-to-school activities? Hope everything is okay.

Hi to Elle and Shadowpup.

Core Cardio Workout by Christi Taylor for me yesterday. Oh well - sort of didn't like this.:confused::confused: and I LOVE Christi. So I don't get it. The workout had a step routine for 35 minutes using one weighted ball. I was alright working with the ball (my back hurt a little while doing it though). She teaches 5 combos back to back and I'm enjoying them all. Then she repeats everything twice using the ball. Gets rid of the ball and repeats all the combos over and over - I got sick of it - I wanted it to end. I was looking forward to the 20 minutes of core conditioning I was promised on the back of the tape - I was expecting more traditional slow, ab exercises - instead this was all dancey & standing - I couldn't deal with it any longer - especially since my back was aching. I stopped this and I did Kari Anderson's Curl workout - but not all of this either as it was really feeling my back. Yes - it is hurting - I think I'll do Qi Gong for the lower back this evening to stretch it out.

Renee - I am a morning person - very much so - but I definitely prefer working out at night. I feel quite different in the morning and when I've tried to work out in the am - I'm just not feeling it. Like you say - different things for different people.

Michelle - I like Cathe so much too - I went quite a long time ONLY doing Cathe workouts but these forums have branched me out a little - and I'm loving experimenting a little.

Oh well - got to go - hope you are all having a really great day. :D:D:D

Hi Everyone! Sorry i did not check in for a while but i was really busy finishing a payroll course. I wrote my exam today and i am so happy to be finished! The exam was worth 50% of my mark. I took the week off work to study and write the exam. Now that it's over i have a spa day planned for Friday and i'm going to Niagara Falls & Buffalo for the weekend.

I'm sure i missed a lot so i'm going to go back and catch up on my reading!

Did Travel Fit, MMA Boxing-Heavy Bag bonus, and walked Rolly 30 min. Burned a total of 622 calories. Won't be able to do this everyday, but had lots of energy today, so I took advantage of it. Ate clean.

Michelle, Great job on Step Moves and STS abs. The more I do yoga, even for abs, the more I like it. It sounds like maybe you will too.;)

Hang in there, a rest day is just around the corner. Pamper your legs, OK?

Great job on disc 4. LOL on the anology of curly hair. You are too funny! We did go to the beach but since it was so crowded, decided to come back. We did walk on the beach and spent some time beach combing. It was a lot of fun.

Renee, What a busy life! I'm inspired and plan on doing more exercising myself.

Shoegal, So sorry you didn't have a liking for Core Cardio. If your back was feeling better maybe these workouts would have been better. At least you did Oi Gong, you must have enjoyed that one with all the stretching. Poor thing. Get better.:(

Elle p, I've missed you! Being busy like that takes a lot out of anyone. Have fun on your spa day, and enjoy Niagara Falls & Buffalo. Glad to see ya again.;)

Janie

Wow, Janie! You sure did get a lot in yesterday. Good for you. I love that Heavy Bag Bonus. Especially with a bag. It can be done without one, but having something to hit makes more authentic, and probably burns a little more calories.

Came home yesterday totally beat. So glad I worked out in the morning. I lazed around for a few hours before I perked up. Can't wait until next week. I should be a zombie head. Today is open house at school, where parents and children come in to meet their teachers. So our hours are 12-7 today. Got to "sleep in" and then got my workout in around 8-9. Nice! It was MMA: KickBox...loved it! Just what I needed to end the second week of Meso 1. Helped to work out some of those karate kinks too!

Let us strive to improve ourselves, for we cannot remain stationary; one either progresses or retrogrades. Mme. Du Deffand

Nice walkabout with Ripken this morning. It has stopped raining although everything is still very wet and it was not as humid. Afterwards I did HIIT 30/30 and STS ab circuits pilate abs. I had a feeling that Ripken was going to want to lick me all the way through the ab work and I was right. A little more challenging to do with him in lick and hover mode. :p

Sister: I was wondering when the fizz was going to go out of your pop this week. I might take MMA Kickbox with me to the boat this weekend and then do cardio core after legs next week.

Janie: ditto here--that sure was a bunch of workouts in one day. Good for you!

Shoegal: a step routine that uses a medicine ball? Really? I think that would hurt my back too. You were brave to even give it a try.

Elle: I'm glad to hear that you've just been very busy and not sick or anything like that. A spa day sounds like fun. I think you are better about giving yourself treats like that than most of the rest of us are.

Hi to Shadowpup and Laura.
~michelle

I did Qi Gong for lower back pain yesterday. :) It felt very nice and I felt much better afterwards. I started to think I should do this all the time - in addition to my other workouts - it really helps. DH and I went out afterwards - I was good - did have some wine but was very sensible on the meal part.

We have been talking to people who are interested in Gunner - problem is - most of these people are clear across the state and they don't want to drive 5 hours to come meet him! Can't say that I blame them. DH and I were talking last night about how much we are going to miss him when he goes to his forever home - he is such a wonderful pup even Rex has fallen in love with him. He learns new things everyday and when you see him settling in and loving it - my heart does a little flip.

I wanted to announce that we finished reading the Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes a couple days ago. Sorry to see it end but we are free now to read new books - Rex has selected a couple more - 2 about sailing :):)rolleyes:) and one about caving - we have read a little on that already.

Michelle - maybe medicine ball is too strong a term - let's say a soft touch weighted ball - only about 3 lbs - it wasn't that bad but I think I do prefer my step without a ball. Good job on HITT 30/30!

Elle - good to hear from you - glad you got your work done - that's a load off of you - enjoy your spa day - if we lived closer I'd got with you - I need a pedicure. Enjoy your trip - do you have any activities planned?

CatChick - Open house sounds like such fun - do you enjoy it? I remember doing that when I was in elementary school - oh my - that was long time ago!

Janie - Wow - good job on those workouts - it is good to take advantage of that extra energy - send some of that over here!!

Hello to Laura - hope you got your internet back - and to Shadowpup.
