Getting Our Licks In!

Challenges: Pull-Ups with 60 sec rest between sets: 3 Assisted, 5 Australian, 3 Assisted, 4 Australian, and 1 hang. Very hard! May have to do this week yet again. Oh well, I'm determined to do one pull up at the end of this month. I noticed my right hand locking and unlocking when doing the Australian pull-ups. Don't know what that's about. My body might be to heavy to lift up for my hands. Hmmmm. So far I'm not hurting anywhere.

Push-Ups with 90 sec. rest between sets: 14, 19, 14, 14, 19. Almost didn't get the 19 in. OMG! It's getting so hard! May have to do this week over again. It's OK, determined to do this, even if it takes longer than 6 weeks. Whew! As long as my body isn't hurting, I'm game.

Sit-Ups 60 sec. between sets: 30, 38, 30, 30, 70. Doing well on these so far.

Did the usual other exercises on hamstrings, inner and outer thighs, shoulder, biceps and triceps using as heavy weight as I can. 8 counts 3 sets ea. I'm tired tonight.

Laura, I can't even know what -32 is like. If you smiled and went outside, would it stay that way? Sounds like you are wise to get some body rest from exercise. I think you are right, your body is complaining big time. Great job on STS Step Moves, wise choice to do Upper Body for the High Reps workout. Plus you did UB Spllit from CTX. Wow! You are amazing. I bet you were fried. You are not alone, I could hardly do the push ups today either.:( It's getting really hard. You shouldn't be discouraged, you absolutely rock with your exercises. I'm very proud of you.

Well we lost power last night, and it was to cold for the back up generator to kick on. So we stocked up the fire, and the girls slept with me in our bed and Bo slept in the guest-room. Bo still couldn't get the power going this morning so we are at a friends house. Hearing lots of horror stories about blown pipes all over town!

I am hopping to do a lower body workout today. Inner thigh and knee are feeling better. I am thinking of Leaner Legs from Cross Train Xpress which I have heard so much about and never done. Although Lower Body Blast is calling my name as well and I like the fact it has cardio in it as well. I am trying to get at least 30 minutes of cardio in 6 days a week. I have been reading the BFFM and as a slow burning Endomorph this is what he recommends!

I am starting a 3 1/2 month STS rotation on Friday. This should take me pretty close to my 40th B-Day!:eek::eek: I will have only one vacation to attend with this time as it is half as long as the last time through! Not looking forward to Meso 1 which is the hardest for my body type. Even yesterday with the two upper body high rep routines my body was literally shaking by the end of it!

Renne and Michelle did ya'll redo your 1RM? I am not going to...I am going to use my micro weight gloves (which I didn't have at the beginning of my 1st time through STS to up my weight just by a lb or 2)
