Thank you all for your supportive, kind and loving words. It is so wonderful to have people who you can share these things with and really felt heard and understood.
Super busy over here with the school year winding down, as well as all the extra curricula activities, I am trying to stay on track with the exercise but it has been hard to get it in sometimes. I made up yesterday's leg workout, which I missed yesterday due to the girls violin recital at school, and it turned me into a sweaty mess. I really can't believe how much I sweat on Meso 2 leg workouts, as much as a good cardio session!! I guess those circuits really get me going, and the timing keeps the pace up as well. I squeezed in a quick 20 minute walk between clients and a little bit of core work.
Today I did not eat nearly enough early in the day, especially considering the intensity of my workout, which led to a post afternoon slump, leading to a quick nap on the coach and waking up to eat anything I could first get my hands on which today was some blue corn chips, a healthy version at least and some mini chocolate chips. It is that TTOTM for me which always leads to sugar/sodium cravings so it isn't that surprising. Luckily I was able to stop myself after just a little bit. It turns out I am still below my calorie count for the day and my protein is way low so I might have a protein shake with banana and actual milk instead of the usual water for desert.
Catchick: (((HUGS))) and thanks for your kind words!
Shoegal: great job on ME. I haven't done that one very often but remember liking it when I last did it. HMmmm not getting sore?? TIME FOR STS!! LOL!! I actually go through phases where I am not sore either to be honest if I am working out consistently without any interruptions, but every once and awhile it is like HOLLY MOLLY where did those DOMS come from?? Sounds like it is time to get some help, and hey hiring someone helps out the economy right? Also it is a good time to hire out as people are bidding jobs lower to get the work. So it is a win-win for all around!
Michelle: yes I had a very good cry, surprised me actually, and it was probably better to be alone to fully release my pent up grief instead of keeping it bottled up inside....I don't have Body Max, but that make me want to get it!! I don't think your soreness has to do with age, but just from working hard. Maybe try epsom salts in a hot bath, that helps me out, or taking some amino acids which are supposed to help with DOMS>
Shadowpup: thanks for the understanding as well! Sounds like you are getting back up to speed!!! Maybe the hunger is just refueling your tired self? Just make sure you are eating enough, unlike me sometimes, and lots of protein to fuel those muscles that are lifting those crazy weights!!
Hi to ElleP: hope you are well and looking forward to hearing from you!!
