Which one?I think you missunderstood my quote
OrI do not recall Cathe having made such statement.
ORI know about Cathe statement
OrIn my opinion, kettlebell is not one safest equipment to use at home
I’m confused….what have I missed???No, i have used the toy and I do not find it less safe either
Here is the thread discussing kettlebell system. I believe the suggestion you are referring to are from this thread.I
I started using kettlebells around 2 years ago, maybe 3. I asked on this forum & got some good advice about where to start and the sizes to start with. I even received a number of PM's from Cathletes about follow-along videos to try that have good instruction (I dont think they felt comfortable suggesting other workout instructors on Cathe's forum). There's a good posting on videofitness.com on getting started too (I think it's by Lady Vol Fan). Take a look! They're fun!
I am laughing so hard!!! lol "begrudgingly is the perfect description of my attitude towards those type of workouts. lolAnd I'm with Braille in my dislike of combination cardio + lower body workouts (looking at YOU, XTrain Cardio Leg Blast). Hate 'em. Will I do them...? Yes, begrudgingly. I know they offer results and variety, but still can't stand them.
Cathe's quality, quantity, and variety of workouts amazes me! Lower body isn't something I look forward to, but I can usually get mentally "into it" once I start, if it's strength focused only.I'm just glad Cathe offers quite a bit of variety where LB workouts are concerned - heavy strength, endurance, circuit, floor work only. I have lots of choices if I see a cardio + lower body workout pop up in my rotation. I can say "Nope! I think I'll opt for heavy strength instead."

We should have details of Download #3 in few days. We are about to find out the content.Hi all,
anyone knows if the free download #3 will be upper or cardio or something else? I know that it will be realised on september 1 but I'm just curious.
Ganging up together like in the past is not going to intimidate me either. The PM function should NOT be used to harass or intimidate other Cathletes!
I have been civil sending a message but your adulthood decided to seek attention of the entire forum. Congratulations. No more attention from me why this below?I think you are the bully. You need to cool your heels. This is usually a nice forum until you engage in your harassment techniques! Don't PM me again! It's unwelcome!
I know there are benefits to CLB, which is why I wish I enjoyed it more. I'm in no way putting down any form of fitness or what other people like or prefer. I meant no insult. I was just laughing at Kellyro77's comment. I was not laughing or mocking her, CLB, or what other people like for their workouts. We all have preferences, and I have a sense of humor (maybe an odd sense of humor?), but I could really relate to her comment and found it funny. It sounds like she has a sense of humor too, and I enjoyed that.@Braille
You are free to go for a type of training you "like/love" CLB contrast training is strength focused. You can hate it but someone else can love and enjoy it while she or he is strengthening the posterior chain muscles I previously mentioned. He or she is doing HER. You do you!
Hope you manage to find a way to increase the weight holding a pretty form. I 'my referring to your question regarding deadlift.
In meantime you can focus on fixing muscles. From physio may be . Good luck!
This thread has way deviated unnessarily phew!
=Well if you felt i contradicted myself, From your adulthood, you should have replied to correct me. As you have quoted above, you want to act with transparency. Instead you did not, you made a snarky comment interacting with a user who blocked me, who 'ignore" my profile Aqua girl. Is that transparency? Give me a break! she is behind every post of mind blocking my profile! Does it make sense??!!You did contradict yourself a number of times trying to seem like you know everything Cathe is thinking & doing. It was a funny post IMO!![]()
No worry @BrailleI know there are benefits to CLB, which is why I wish I enjoyed it more. I'm in no way putting down any form of fitness or what other people like or prefer. I meant no insult. It sounds like she has a sense of humor too, and I enjoyed that.I've learned that life's too short too not smile and laugh every time we get a chance. I'm just happy - didn't mean for that to offend. My being happy IS part of me doing me.

I don't want to get in the middle of this, but I feel I must speak up. From the posts that I read, I've seen no signs of bullying from these ladies, and they've been nothing but helpful to me over the years - encouraging, supportive, and sharing their experiences and knowledge. I was absent from this forum for quite some time, but I am not new to this forum, so while I don't know what on earth is going on, I've never known them to claim to know everything. They share, like we all do. Please reread their posts. If you're having a bad day or something awful is going on in your life, it can make it so one interprets things in ways that were not intended. I was the victim of extreme "bullying" for over 2 decades. That is not what is happening here. This is a friendly (and I've always felt "safe") here. To be honest... there aren't very many places that I feel safe, so that's quite an accomplishment for this site. That doesn't mean, however, that everybody will have the same opinions, knowledge, or viewpoint. It's okay to disagree, as long as we try to understand each other. It's okay to take the advice that works best for us and leave the rest for someone else that benefit from it more. It's okay to give opinions and they aren't what someone was looking for. It's not a wasted opinion... someone will find it helpful. I find it helpful (and this comes from experience, not a place of judgement) to make my decisions from the left side of my brain - the decisions and responses I make from my right (emotional - knee jerk reactions) are not as reliable as my left-brained carefully considered ones. I believe if you reread their comments without the emotion... you'll see them as I do - simple comments and questions asking for clarification. Healthy conversations can come out of this forum if we remember that we all have the same goal... to be as healthy and fit as possible so that we can live life to its fullest. It's not healthy to privately message someone with something negative. I received a message from a wonderful gal on this forum that brought tears to my eyes - she was so supportive. I would have been horrified to have received the one you sent. Please rethink the way you are perceiving and handling this situation. This forum can be a wonderful place if you let it.Ganging up together like in the past is not going to intimidate me either.
Please kindly mind your own business. She is not a victim here. This bullying attitude has not started now.
I have relied on your opinions and advice a number of times. It's not fair that many of us will lose out on that, because of one. We are here to support each other. This is me, attempting to give support and advice (although unsolicited lol). You are doing what she's doing - making an emotional decision. Please don't do that! Take some time to think about it, and remember how much you've received AND contributed to this forum. I am sure I would not be the only one that misses you. I am uncomfortable with what's been going on too, and it saddens me, but there are enough positive people on here that we CAN turn this around. I have a past that makes me want to "flee" bad situations, and it's taking everything I have to put myself in the middle of this. THAT's how important I think you are to this site. My emotions are saying "run" - "stay out of it", but my brain is saying that I have to be strong and do what I can to support those that have supported me. I will support any decision that you make, because it is your choice, and I can even understand why you'd choose to go, but please think about it and reconsider before you make a final decision, okay?Enough! First, Fixsaxe, I do not have you on “ignore”….in fact I ignore no one…. I
simply was quoting a few of your comments, made within a short time frame, and to
be honest, I was confused…..But, mission accomplished, this is my last post on this
website, I wish everyone the best and hope Cathe & crew will be well.

I do not see anything wrong with that message. Taken at face value, I agree with it.you are right I do not intend to drag you in this drama.
