I don't have cancer! I also don't have Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I DO have the severe case of Hashimotos (underactive thyroid to the max!).
I will have to continue on the Synthroid and it will take awhile to get my dosage right. Until then, she said I will have to endure the joint pain and hair loss, etc, that goes along w/ the disease. She said the fact that I am in so much pain just tells her that my dose is too low but she can't "up" it until I get my next blood draw which is in 2.5 more weeks. I am glad to hear this as I really truly believed I had the rheumatoid based on my severe joint and bone pains, especially in the wrists and feet.

YAY!

Thanks again for your support, everyone.

Clarissa ;)

Clarissa - that is great news!!! You must be so relieved.

Thanks for letting us know!

I hope you can get some relief soon from the pain though and they can get this under control for you.

Great news!!! Hang in there, honey. They'll get you straightened out on the meds and you'll be bouncing along fine in no time!!

Great News!

You will feel better than ever once your medication/dosage is regulated. It takes some time but just know you will be back to normal.

Great news Clarissa! I'm sorry you'll have to deal w/ finding the right dosage for Synthoidm but WOW, it's so great you don't have cancer or rheumatoid arthritis! What a relief!! I'm very happy for you! Thanks for letting us know~
