Do I need Cardio Kicks??

Does this workout provide something that KPC or KM don't have??? I am still debating over whether or not to purchase it.

I rarely use this DVD unless one of her rotations call for it. I could take or leave the kickbox in the first half as it's kind of a space hog and seems more hi/lo than kickbox. However I LOVE the drills at the end of the workout! I don't think the cost of the DVD is worth just those 10 mintues but those drills are what keep me from trading the disk.

Okay, I am the only one who likes CK? =o !!

I definately think you should get it. I think the drills at the end are similar to the drills in 4DS kickbox. This is my 2nd favorite kickbox dvd of Cathe's (4DS being the first). I do agree the begining cardio does have a "hi/lo" kickbox feel, but it "kicks butt"! I also have FUN doing this dvd and the time flies. And anyway, isn't variety the spice of life???;):)

I have to say though, KM is the one dvd of Cathe's I rarely use, and with KPC I mostly use the cardio only premix and/or the abs (which rock!). For me, drills are more fun than doing upper, then lower body drills then putting them together, and then doing them all over again on the other side of your body!!!! arg!!

Sorry if I've just confused things for you!

eta: also the begining cardio has alot of kickbox moves in it, and I feel I get a much better "all- over" body (abs, arms, legs etc.) workout with this dvd. No ab work needed after this workout! ( I think Cathe even says that at the end)

Jerry,
I have to agree with Deanie. I prefer CK over KPC for some reason. It feels more like a party to me, so I guess the fun factor is higher and the time just seems to flies by. Did you watch the clip?
Oh go ahead. You know you NEED to have all of Cathe's kickbox workouts, right?;)

Just had to go and do it, didn't you, just when I was convinced not to order, along come some positive reviews...I knew I should have not peeked back into this thread!

This is so weird because I adore Cardio Kicks--love the men factor in the workout and I think its harder than KPC..I hate the drills in KPC for some reason I get bored. I know, I always seem to be in the minority when it comes to Cathe workouts. However, Circuit Max? I do not care for that at all, so unless you are in love with Cardio Kicks, skip this DVD.

LOVE CK!!! Sooo much fun and a nice refrshing change of pace too. And Jer - c'mon -- does any of us really NEED any new DVDs? But I learned long ago that eventually you'll have 'em all anyway. It's just a matter of time. So your choice -- now, or later.

I love CK, I love KPC and Kickmax too. They are all different, and as I recall, you are a kickbox junkie just like I am, and you can never have enough KB. Hmmm, is that a mastercard I hear?

Haaaa!!! Melissa, your positive review did not entice me to get out my mastercard at all.....I have tremendous willpower and will not be defeated on this!!!!

Actually...I will be using my Visa, instead....sigh.

Let me be the opposite side of coin!

I LOVE Cardio Kicks! I use it just as often if not more than KPC...2 totally different workouts IMO. It moves very quickly- very high energy...is less reps/less repitition feel.
I find that both Cardio Kicks & KPC have a place in a rotation because of the diversity. There are also some arm drills on there that are awesome for sculpting. Personallay, I do like KPC however I find it very repititious & the music less stimulating. When I'm "not in the mood" I always reach for Cardio Kicks vs KPC...

I like CK too, the music is so great and this workout is FUN but tough. I rarely use KPC these days either, unless I do one of the premixes Its a great workout but it seems to go on forever when done as is.
