Do I need Cardio Kicks??

Well, crap Jerry! Why did you have to go and post this question?? I had just convinced myself that I did not need it and would be strong. I almost have all of the Cathe dvds - only missing this one and a couple of the older step ones. I like step, but it's not my favorite thing to do and those outfits...and hair...oh my. I think I would feel like I had a constant wedgie just looking at their little whatever things they are wearing! :D But now, I will have to look again at Cardio Kicks. They wear pretty normal stuff in that one I believe.

I'll add on to the "Just say No!" chorus and suggest passing on CK. First, Cathe was new to kickboxing in this workout and it absolutely shows in her punches (no pivoting on hooks or uppercuts for example). Second, it's really more hi lo with some kicks and punches. Tons and tons of sashays. I prefer her KB workout on CTX by far to this one. (if you don't have CTX, buy that one!!) CK is the only Cathe workout I could not even finish because I was so underwhelmed. I've since sold it and don't miss it. The punching drills are okay, but the ones in 4DS are a lot harder and again, Cathe's form is so much more authentic in 4DS. You can see what I'm referring to on the clip.

Save your $$ and maybe try a different instructor for a new kickboxing workout if you need some more variety in your collection. Cathe's mixed martial arts is coming up after all...

I like CK, too

I own KPC, Kick Max, and Cardio Kicks. And I have to say that I do really enjoy Cardio Kicks. It's great for a day when I just want to not think and get a good sweat going, too. Actually, CK is the CD I have brought on travel and done in hotel rooms. It actually worked very well for me to get some cardio while on business travel. It is less "kick boxy" than the other two, but I do really enjoy it, and now that I've done it several times, I enjoy the aerobic nature of it.

My two cents!

Have a great day,
Dawn

So Jerry.....Do you feel like you're playing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire & you just asked the audience & you got a 50/50 split!? ;) We LUV helping confuse you even more!
Let us know what you decide!!!

Cardio Kicks is a lot of fun. It is more hi-lo than kickbox but the hi-lo is very athletic not dancy. On days when I dont feel up to KPC intensity, I can do Cardio Kicks. I find it more intense than Kick Max.

I also love the Circuit workout "Cardio and Weights" on the Cardio Kicks DVD. The cardio in that workout - especially the step kick box is fabulous and the weight work is very thorough.

Hi Vee, are you referring to Circuit Max on the CK dvd, by chance? (C&W is the same dvd as Imax 2.)

Sorry Jerry but here is another vote for buying Cardio Kicks. I REALLY like this workout. In fact, just like other viewers, I like it better than KP&C!!

BUY IT!!! BUY IT!!! BUY IT!!!

Carrie

I have this workout, but I've only done it one time. If you have Kick Max and Kick Punch & Crunch, that's good enough!

SOooo Jerry - have you decided yet?? are you going to buy Cardio Kicks? have you been talked into it yet?
