I was able to get a workout in this morning. I did Cathe Live Solid Cardio + HiiT.

Belinda, thanks! I'm feeling a little better about it today. I'm definitely glad I caught it before they spent more.

I just finished today's workout I needed it and I was itching to tryout Strong and Sweaty. I will now check in.

Here's today's workout:

Core De Force- Shred= 38 Min
MV= 8.0
CB= 415

Strong & Sweaty- Boot Camp- Timesaver # 3= 38 Min
MV= 8.40
CB= 436

Total calories burned= 851:);)

Well I hope you all had a great Christmas, I sure did!! My DH got me the Fitbit Blaze (I had the Surge) and man, this one is the bomb. I loved the feature on the Surge where you set up the hours during the day you want to walk at least 250 steps for each hour. Only thing is, you never knew where you were at during that hour with your steps. So if I'm at work and I need to get up and walk so I get my 250 steps in, I never knew how many more steps I needed to do. The Blaze takes care of that, it tells you how many steps you've traveled in that hour so you know how many more to do. Sweet. It also seems to clock my HR correctly as it did this morning when I did the entire Press Play Cardio Coach. This thing went up to 170 at one point when I was sprinting, which in my book, was probably spot on. We'll see if it keeps doing that correctly, all my HR monitors - and I mean every one I've ever owned - did my HR accurately the first couple weeks of use. Then after that they never tracked right. So we shall see. I had a great workout and after all of the foods I ate yesterday, really needed it. Said my Average HR was 127 and the max was 170.

Workout was 1 hr. 5 minutes, I ran 4.25 miles :) burned 488 calories (TM said 627) and went 8853 steps. I'm almost at 10,000 which is good because DH and I are going to see Passengers today and after my last lazy two days, I need to get my steps in today. So I should be good to go today.

Anyone preview the new workouts yet? I want to but haven't had the time. I might do Giant Sets tomorrow. Are there workout sheets anywhere on Cathe's website?

Jodi - I'm sorry to hear someone stole your debit card, that also happened to us a few years back. Very frustrating. I hope you get everything straightened out without too much trouble.

Nora - Girl, you even workout on Christmas??? Nice job, but you should take one rest day. It won't hurt you. :) Hope you had a fabulous Christmas.

Hi ladies!

Today I did STS Disc 32, Plyo Legs and a 12-minute Standing Barre Abs workout from JS on YouTube.

I am off work for the next TWO WEEKS!! Woohoo!!!!! I'm looking forward to the recharge.

Debbie-that Fitbit sounds great! Keep us posted on the accuracy of the HR.

Belinda-great job with 21DF and your walk!

Nora-great calorie burn! So what do you think about Strong and Sweaty so far?
 
Today I did the new Strong & Sweaty Giant Sets and had a good workout. I don't want to type out the entire workout and what I lifted. There are 38 exercises. I did find the manual (thanks Roxie) and printed out the one for this workout and used the same weights listed on the sheet. This is a great total body workout, three leg segments which was pretty good and I was able to do all the exercises. My knees started feeling it but didn't bother me too much. The only thing I did not like at all is the music. I must be getting old because I just do not like that pop crap. I wish she'd go back to using 80's music again, I loved when she did that.

Workout was 57 minutes, I burned 164 calories. Said my average HR was 86 and the highest was 129.

I also walked on my treadmill for 1.25 miles.

21DF Upper Fix and walk is done. I got lots of more work dvd's for xmas. I will keep it light until the NY. Sorry for being short on personals, my DD is still here. Tomorrow we are going to DC for NY.

Debbie - glad you like the new workouts. I only done Cardio Slam, it was ok, IMO. Nothing new but fun.

Cathe Live Hi-Lo Cardio Kickboxing. Loved this one. I was a sweaty mess by the end!

10-Minute Flexibility Training Workout

I love being off and having extra time to workout. My S&S DVDs were delivered at work today, but of course, I am not at work. I need to swing by there at some point and pick them up.

Debbie-I also love the 80's music in her older workouts. Maybe it's too expensive now or maybe there are copyright issues?

Belinda-enjoy your trip to DC!

Nora-glad you are enjoying S&S. I've got to finish STS before I can dive into them.

Like Jodi, I am also off this week and it's great to have time to workout and do it AFTER 5:30 a.m.!! I have so much more energy at 8 a.m. versus 5:30, what a difference. Today I wanted to do CC#6 with Candace and her Run Fit workout so I decided to do the mix of both the workouts I put together some time ago. Wow, what a tough workout but I really enjoyed it. Another 4 miler for me. My legs are really sore after that and yesterdays Giant Sets.

Workout was 62 minutes, ran 4.13 miles, burned 432 calories (TM said 570) and went 8542 steps. My average HR was 120 and max was 170 again. Woo hoo!!!!!

Belinda - No need to apologize, have fun with your daughter!! Sounds like you'll have fun for NY!!!

Nora - I agree, S&S seem like they will be good. I will try the upper body one tomorrow I think. Nice workout yesterday! You kicked butt yet again!

Roxie - Nice calorie burn yesterday!! Great job on your workout!

Jodi - Isn't it great to have extra time to workout. I'm off this week as well. Great workouts yesterday!!!

Today I did STS Disc 33, Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps and the STS Extended Stretch. I was feeling strong on this one. Loved it!

Debbie-enjoy your time off too! It's so nice to workout whenever I feel like doing it. Sounds like you had a great workout this morning!

Nora-I can't wait to start exploring the new DVDs once I'm done with STS. Glad you are enjoying them so far!

I did KCM Body Design Upper Body Strength this afternoon. I am not going to start the new workouts until next week and I plan on keeping with my spin workouts.

Today I did Ramped Up Upper Body and had a great workout. I like this one although she went too fast from one exercise to another at certain points. I needed to rest a bit more. No biggie, I just paused for a few longer seconds. I hate hate hate the music. It was driving me crazy. By the time I got to triceps I went to the main menu and shut the music off and then it was fine. I really hate that constant loud music. No singing, just nasty banging music. No thanks. Gives me a headache.

It really was a great workout, though, despite that. I felt it in every muscle. The shoulder work is killer. Again, 38 exercises. I used the exact weights Cathe used except the 2nd set of lateral raises. I used 3's instead of 5's. These were a burner.

Workout was 54 minutes long, my average HR was 90 and the max was 152. Burned 173 calories.

I also walked on my treadmill for 1.5 miles.

Hope you all have a great workouts!!! Getting an implant in my mouth today. Hope there is no down time afterwards.

Wow, S&S Total Body Giant Sets was tough, so glad I opted to try these new ones out using a timesaver premix very tough the mix I did was all Legs which I was glad because no way could I have done the whole thing as is. This will challenge you no doubt there. These are awesome and I have heard some comments about the music to be hones I was too focused on getting through it to even noice.

Debbie- Glad you enjoyed your S&S workout and well done girlfriend, Bravo. I only did the premix Timesaver that worked the back oh boy do I feel it toda y. Great workout though. I'm sure you no doubt killed today! Have a blessed day!:);)

Today I did Cathe Live High/Low HiiT with the Step and a 40-Minute Flat Abs Walk from JS on YouTube. Wow, loved the Cathe Live! She's got some great little cardio workouts wth Live.

Debbie-after reading so many comments about the music for this set, I'm a little worried about it. I'm glad you liked the workout anyway and that there is an option to turn off the music. Good luck with your dental work!

Nora-glad you're enjoying the new stuff as well! Good job today!

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. I got sick really bad last night , maybe I had a stomach bug:( I did workout in the morning, thank goodness. I did 21DF Lower Fix and walked.

Today I did 21 DF Pilates and walked.

Debbie - I only did Cardio Slam, which was very high impact with lots of jumping :( Not sure, how much I will pull that one out? I read on VF about the music. Got me worried about the rest of the dvd's:(

Jodi - good job with your workout today.
