CRACY, STRONG AND LOVING IT January 2016 - January 2020

Good Evening,

I walked on the treadmill today for 30 minutes then we went up to the hospital my mother-in-law started dialysis last week and developed a really bad infection and has been in ICU since Friday and has been unresponsive she is coming around a little bit but not much.

STS M3 W2 D28 is done.

We started remodeling out guest bathroom this weekend. Paint is done. Had to return the new vanity, it had a crack. Got a new one, just to find out we have to do some cutting on the vanity too to fit the plumbing.

I been having lots of internet problem lately, I will keep it short. I will be back tomorrow.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach 8 - one workout I haven't done more than 1 time, I think. Loved it. This is an endurance workout, more like the recent Treadmill Coach workouts I did last week. No sprints, just uphill running. I did well with it, and had fun. Love that I can do endurance running now.

Workout was 1 hour, ran 4.45 miles (which is weird because my TM showed 4 miles, not sure which I should believe), I burned 522 calories (TM said 614) and went 8841 steps. HR was 149/209.

My legs are so sore from Friday's Kelly workout. This is why I hate working my legs, they get sore and stay sore for days. I could hardly get up after I sat down yesterday. Running was hard due to the soreness, I plan on stretching a bit when I get home tonight.

Roxie - Prayers for your mother in law, I hope she is better. That is scary!

I just realized I skipped D27 :) I did D28 instead, I will do D27 Wednesday. It was too early for me to workout this morning.

Then I walked on my treadmill for 20 minutes, burned an additional 115 calories, went 1.02 miles and did 2469 steps. HR was 95/150. 150 is high for walking so not sure what happened there?

Today I did a couple fun cardio workouts. I started with the Treadmill Coach Bonus workout which is only 30 minutes and it's parts of the Treadmill Coach Vol. 2 workout. Had fun with that.

Workout was 30 minutes, burned 262 calories (TM said 299), went 2.2 miles and did 4322 steps. HR was 147/190.

Then I did Kelly's Meltdown Kickbox/Boxing workout - that is such a fun workout, I love it. My HR really gets up there with this one. I had to skip the very last combo because I ran out of time. Still had a great workout.

That workout was 21 minutes, burned 188 calories and did 2221 steps. HR was 148/180.

Nice workouts everyone! Roxie, glad you MIL is stable.

M3 W2 D30 is done. I messed up my workout for this week in the WM :( I should have done legs today. Oh well! It's all straight now.

Nora - I had all my workouts played out in the WM, decided not to take a recovery week. Had to move all the M3 workouts around. It really doesn't matter what order you do the workouts, my body doesn't know what day it it :) It's all good.

Workout was 30 min., burned 157 calories (a lot more than last time, wonder why? I show I burned only 72 calories last time I did this), HR 118/179.

My left hamstring is really sore and tight, ever since last Friday's leg workout. I foam rolled it last night and have been stretching it and nothing is helping. It's almost painful. I hope it heals soon.

I walked on my treadmill for 20 minutes, burned an additional 104 calories, went 1 mile and did 2437 steps. HR was 87/116.

Nora - Nice job with your workout!! Looks like you had fun and great calorie burn, too!! You go girl!!

Belinda - Is Ice Rock 'em Sock 'em Kickboxing fun? I've been wanting to get that workout, just not sure it's worth the cost. Nice going with that workout!!

Roxie - Love Upper Body SS!! Nice job. Glad your MIL is doing ok. Is she still in the hospital?

Debbie - ICE Rock 'em Sock 'em Kickboxing is fun, IMO! Lots of jumping. Amanda is suppose to modify, she isn't doing a great job. Cathe should have picked someone else to modify, IMO. Amanda is too advanced, lol. Look at the premixes in ICE first and see if that is something you like. If not, I would go with her downloads. I think once or twice a years she has them on sale 40% off. I'll be honest, her last few series didn't had great premixes, the music was horrible and one of the crew member form was horrible. Collage video has her dvd's on sale right now .Buy 2 get 25% off. I have not preordered ICE2. I will wait to hear reviews on the music, crew and premixes first. Did you buy Fit Splits or Fit tower?
 
Today I did Treadmill Coach Vol. 1 by Amy Dixon again. I thought I didn't do as good as the first time but I actually did better. My goal today was to run all 5 - 1 minute 8% jogs at that 8% incline in Stage 1. Last time I don't think I did them at 8%. The 4% recoveries were a bit much and I had to bring my speed down, but all in all, I did really well with Stage 1 and was able to reach my goal on that 8% jog. Stage 3 is hard but it is done on a 1% incline which is my normal. Race pace speeds and sprints are in this Stage and I love it. Then the last Stage is 30 second sprints on 4% incline. It's tough as well.

Workout was 57 minutes, ran 4.21 miles, burned 513 calories (TM said 602) and went 8310 steps. HR was 152/194.

Belinda - Thanks for the update on ICE. Not a big fan of jumping, I wish Cathe would be more mindful of that. She's as old as I am and I can't believe she continually does that high impact stuff. I preordered the LITE series, not ICE2. I didn't know there was an ICE2. I hope the LITE series isn't high impact but if it is, I can modify.

Debbie - you are welcome! I meant to say LITE not ICE2. I am not a big fan of jumping either. Especially with my bad knees. I wished I had Cathe's knees, that woman can jump :) I will wait for reviews on LITE first before I buy. I may just check them out at OnDemand for a month. I am tired of my dvd's not getting used. I have so many that collection dust. Great job today.

I did KCM Build and Burn Kettlebell Kickbox Fusion, Lower Body Tabata and a walk outside. MIL is out of ICU but she is really weak and not feeling all that great.

Debbie-I don’t like all the jumping either it’s one reason I like Kelly’s workout
